  It would NOT in fact the virus which prevents HP Recovery Manager to work.

  Well well, after 7 years using windows XP pro and my various printers HP over the years, I've always been able to instantly use my HP printer on the screen to see the ink level... I would go to programs... Find (printer todays) 2540 HP... Then click the icon to see my ink level...

  I suggest that you remove all HP 2540 programs and then re-install thesoftware WIN 10 full.  Bwtween your WIn 8.1 and upgrade an error happened.

  I cleaned the glass, put it back in, screwed it all to the top and the DONE.

  I try the functions on my new 5540 ENVY. Everything is set up and working correctly so far. I just printed a document from my iPad using the WIFI Direct function on the printer successfully.   I understand that you're looking to improve the quality of your listening on your HP ENVY, 23-1075 all-in-One TV desktop PC. I don't see how you can improve quality without upgrading your graphics as any output you do with your computer via USB and will not as good as what your computer displays currently.

  Because the password is not available to you, there is not another way to unlock the printer unless you reset the printer and set it up again back on the network.
