HP Envy dv6t-7200 - Sound randomly getting stronger

I just bought my new computer (HP Envy dv6t-7200, with Windows 8) a month ago and I have had this problem since the beginning. I initially went through several friends trying to get their advice/help in fixing it, but nothing worked. So, I beg you!

(I am aware of the Beats Audio taping on its fluctuating... but my model seems to be different, so I thought that I post here...)

Whenever I listen to the music/play a game/watching a video/whatever, it will randomly harder. The volume remains the same number control, it's just the actual sound that is changing. He is never silent, just burst out loudly. As you can imagine, it's very annoying, but I've exhausted myself trying to fix it. If someone could help me, I would appreciate it a lot.

OK, thanks for the update.

I suggest you get the Audio drivers.

Please follow this documentwhich should guide you in the recovery of the pilots.

Once you have opened the Recovery Manager it will look something like this:

Make sure that you choose the option that is circled on the photo. ****

You will need to select the Audio drivers once you choose what to recovery.

If you have any other questions let me know.

    QUESTION:

I had no sound * on the 'go get' speakers (that is, from the cooktop for the first time). I say no sound with an asterisk (*) because it makes noise, just everytime he tries to make the sound he is supposed to make ends up looking like a noise low echo a little sound for a movie like "Friday the 13th" when Jason is lurking in the Woods (i.e., cheh-Shh-Shh-Shh... kah-ka-ka-ka). At no point has the appropriate sound has played from the speakers (start, stop and everything in between)... it was either the noise low echo or a sequence of tick-tick-tick sounds.

    TRIED SO FAR:

So far, I tried to solve problems by using the information below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03257712

I tried each of the 'steps', but none of them are able to solve the problem. I should mention that it runs that diagnostic stuff are not errors... it seems to "think" the speakers work as it should.

I've seen many "solutions" here who describe the new drivers download (even though when I clicked on the audio driver update, it said it was updated). It makes sense, why one would need to do if the computer came originally pre-loaded with Windows 7 and the new OS W8 won't play nice with all the drivers existing, but I guess for me it is not make sense why a brand new computer which has Windows 8 pre-loaded would be defective right out of the box like that. Quality control does not check if the speakers correctly? Or could it just be a flaw introduced somewhere in the process of packing/shipping-related?

I would phone HP and request repair under warranty. Select your country here for the info page > Contact HP Envy The series has a separate section on the page of phone numbers.

  • [Envy dv6t Quad Edition laptop] Can I change my graphics card?

Laptop: HP dv6t Quad Edition Envy

    Proccessor: Intel 3rd gen i7

    RAM: 16 GB

    Operating system: Windows 8 64-bit

The current graphics card I have in my laptop is the Nvidia Geforce GT M 635. I was just wondering, it would be possible for me to change the current graphics card Say... the Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 M? I tried to search if the GTX card is compatible with most laptops, but have not found a solid answer.

What is the full product name and the product number of your laptop? Post so I can watch the BIOS updates to see if improvements to the one you asked. So far, it's a no-go on this one. I know when you share your product number or name of the product with us.

On further inspection of the improvements in the BIOS for both models, I can tell you that the Nvidia GTX 660 M is currently incompatible with the motherboard of your laptop.

What is a desire dv6t-7200 or 7300 series?

7200-7300 series CTO will accept these

  • Satellite C70D - A - 11 d - no sound, random

So I bought this laptop a few months ago.
For the past few weeks the laptop has stopped playing sound.
I watched a stream in Chrome.

So actually, I should be able to see the reading in the table of sound mixing.
But I was not able to play any sound or get any deviation in the mixer.

Then I installed Speccy and as this administration window popped up a sound is played and it worked.

I have no idea why the noise stopped working and why he did it again.
Is anyone able to help me?

    I use Windows 8.1

The essential is that you again. It is not easy to say what was wrong there.
Have you installed any updates or anything that may be responsible for this sound material?

  • Envy dv7t-7200: SSD upgrade in 2nd slot on HP Envy dv7t-7200. Cannot find or run the Bios

So I added recently internal a second drive in my HP Envy dv7t-7200 because she had a second slot. The first was a 1 TB HARD drive and what I added is a compatible 500 GB SSD from Crucial. At startup, the SSD was not recognized as I can't find anywhere in my computer to use. Also, I tried to go into the BIOS to see if the second part of the motherboard to the drive 2nd spot has been activated but now the computer starts too fast and I can't enter the BIOS. Given that nothing is installed on disk 2, I have no idea why the computer starts much faster. Would it be due a QuickLaunch for the BIOS update can I have recently installed? If so, how to uninstall that?

I also wanted to just insisted on my laptop as possible and that's why I decided to upgrade, any help would be greatly appreciated.

A new empty ssd drive will not be displayed in my computer (PC), until the disk is initialized and formatted. Right-click on computer and choose manage... disk management and see if there is a new blank disc. If so create a new volume in it (partition) then format then assign a drive letter.

You want to have the OS on the SSD and have it in the main location as only a car in this slot is bootable. You lose the speed of the SSD in the second location for pure storage. As hanging Secretariat up to a plow.

  • Webcam does not (HP ENVY dv6t-7300)

So, I've had my laptop for about one and a half now and the webcam has been working well. Today, however, it stops working. At first, I thought it was the microphone and webcam, but I tested the microphone and it works. The only thing that doesn't work is not is the webcam.

    I tried to restart.

I tried to look up the driver and attention was ready. At that point, I realized that I didn't even have a webcam installed (which is what told me my programs but I don't think).

Then I searched on this forum to find a solution and another soldier assigned as the withdrawal of the bevel and stick the small plug should work. I tried it and it didn't. (I am also afraid that I did with my computer on...) I did serious damage?)

If someone else has other options or ideas of what I could do? I'm a student living in another country for study. I would use my webcam to see my family and friends back home.

    Thank you
