  I recently bought this printer and I meet a love hate relationship with it. Most of the problems have to do with ePrint. After reviewing the ePrint Forum, it seems that most of the problems originate from an unstable ePrint server.

  My question is: has anyone installed and used this printer? It looks elegant in the family room (not your printer typical aspect). I like the way he reacts to print applications:

  -The door opens and the display will change to indicate an impression begins

  -Out the output tray extension

  -The document is printed

  -When I pick up the paper from the printer, the output extension tray retracts to the printer

  -At this point (or after a short timeout) I expect the door closes, but is not

  -The display goes off and the printer between what I'll call hypernation mode waiting to be awakened for the next print job

  My second question is: anyone knows the door that closes by itself? That seems to be the logical operation when the printer is in mode "hybernation. Then, it was not designed this way (design control), it was not implemented like that (faulty manufacture), or my printer is defective. Responds to everyone?

  Finally the FW update is here. I tried and tried to get this update, but the printer keeps you answer that there are no updates, until I did a reset full semi of the printer. 5 packages where downloaded and installed and the result...

  I tried the different steps of the printer, Eve---> print---> door closes

  farm online--> print--> door control

  Now I can really enjoy my Envy 100 D410A.

  The new FW ends on 1039HR (Netherlands) the last 2 characters can be voor different other countries.

  I close my contribution on this forum by the note of support HP USA, it is not easy to get new clients, but very diffecult to keep.

• 5530 envy all-in-one: printer communicates is not on wifi

  I have recently upgraded to windows 10 and initially my pc and the printer worked well together. I had to turn off printer and turn on again once the two do not want to communicate. In Control Panel, the printer shows as a folder. I tried to remove it in order to reinstall but it just says: after two days ' status: deleting printer '.

  I tried to stop the coil, removing the drivers, software uninstall and in safe mode. Just will not delete!

  If I use printing doctor it detects my wireless printer and says that all software is up to date. When I click on the next button, it says it cannot communicate as there are some missing drivers. I tried to reinstall the diving base and it makes no difference. If I connect by usb, it works perfectly!

  I checked with my router and it is connected to my network. Like wise if I connect via the IP address of printers it works and prints ok. EPrint works as well. If I try and print from a document, it will not and shows it as offline.

  

  Next, I get the following error...

  

  If I run printing doctor he finds the printer and then says to click fix printing. He wants to print the test page. I do that and nothing happens. I click on no printing, and it checks the updates and brings me back to test printing. Select this option and nothing happens again. Internal test page prints ok. Tried to uninstall the software, reboot, and reinstall.

  I'm sure I may have missed something obvious, but it is now driving me crazy... Help!

  Thanks for the suggestions. I tried everything and nothing happened. This morning I had to reinstall Windows 10 due to a completely separate issue and guess what? When I started everything was properly and the printer now works again. Bizzare!

  Hello, I have a HP Envy 4500 all in one printer that is only a year and have had many problems with.  Recently, when I turn it on, it displays an error code; 0XB3F4F4F8. I have not found what means this error code. ? I tried to unplug and then turn on to get the Welcome screen, then it said error code and does NOT stop automatically. I have to unplug it to stop it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Printer locked up - line said that the printer's paper (not) and it was offline (no). I unplugged, restarted the computer and the printer. Followed all the basic troubleshooting tips and stupidly the suggestion to reset all printers. Big mistake, now zero printers happen when I try to add. The search option does not either. Is it my computer? I don't think so. This is a NEW printer - printer only a dozen or so articles. Help, please!

  I read on your desire 7640 does not although you receive an "Out of Paper" error, the printer showed as 'offline' and currently cannot add printer on your Mac with 10.7.

  Here's what I would recommend. Try troubleshooting the equipment first, because if there is a problem with the unit, this will lead to software problems and troubleshooting cycle can get tedious.

  1. power reset the printer and make sure the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on.

  Turn on the printer.
  With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the unit.
  Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  Wait at least 15 seconds.
  Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
  Reconnect the power cord to the back of the unit.
  If the printer does not by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.

  2. try to make a copy of the front of the printer. If the work of copies successfully, go to step 3, if the copies do not work, tell me what happens when you try to make them as there is most likely a hardware problem.

  3. from your Mac:

  1. Reset the printing system
  2. Repair disk permissions
  3. Restart the Mac.
  4. Click on this link to download and install the full features and software driver: HP ENVY 7640 e-all-in-One Printer series full feature software and drivers
  5. Print from text editing and other test applications and also try to scan from HP Scan/HP Utility.

  Recently, I tried to use my 4500 want to print photographs, using HP Premium Plus Photo paper. Each attempted printing resulted in the printer telling me that there is a paper jam. I would open it upwards, remove the paper (which has never been really stuck - just looks like he started getting into the printer and stopped) and try again... Paper jam. I don't have the paper in the tray - went out my plain paper. I am able to print correctly on plain paper, but it won't take photo paper. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  My newly installed (Jan 2015) ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one prints only two pages of a document with several pages of my HP desk top 500-123ea, windows 8.1. Message on PC "Unable to print document", it's even on Double or single sided printing.  A ran Scan doctor, OK; reloaded software and Firmware from the Hp site. He spent hours and hours of reading the elements of list of support HP; Impossible to talk online with HP. very in angry and frustrated. This HP product seems not as "fit for purpose". I will give HP Feedback after this announcement and rate accordingly. I beleve others have similar experience of this problem. HP is aware?  Is anyone out there that can help?

  If you try to connect your printer to the router, you should make sure that wireless Direct is trurned to offshore. Direct wireless is a feature that allows you to connect a device directly to your printer without router (the printer generates its own wifi)

  Please turn off direct wireless (it's often a button on the front panel) and try to connect again.

  From your PC, open the HP Envy 110 software and select scan a Document or Photo.

  Select the required scan shortcut selected in the front panel of the printer, and then click Advanced settings.

  Click the Destination tab, select the destination folder and validate.

  I bought my Hp Envy 4500 all in November last one. It worked like a charm for the first 2 months. I tried to print photo 4 x 6 a day. 2 first impressions were good, and the third image has begun to fade from the half. Documents not threatened by more than a few pages. I tried to uninstall/re-install, printing via USB, set static IP address on the print and followed by other solutions on this forum. I was lazy to lift a question myself on this forum. Now, I'm totally frustrated and disappointed by this product, I wanted to just try my luck.

  I understand your ENVY 4500 HP e-all-in-one printer is not printing documents to the end and there is a print quality problem when you print photos.  I would like to help.

  I have some suggestions that can solve these problems.

  First, I recommend that you only perform a "hard reset":

  1. press the Power button to turn off the printer.
  2. unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.
  3. wait 60 seconds.
  4 reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer.
  5. press the power button to turn on the printer.

  Click on the title of the following article:

  Try Solution two.

  If this clarify two questions, great!  If this solves the problem of document but still the problem of print quality with photos, click on the title of the following article:

  Printer prints a blank Page or does not print black ink color for the HP ENVY 4500 and Deskjet Ink Advantage 3540 e-all-in-One Printer Series

  Work your way through the Solution one and go until you are satisfied with the print quality.  Test photo print - does clarify the issue of the photo?
