Satellite R600-U10 - how to install a fresh Windows?
HARD drive died and lost the CD of restoration. I tried a fresh install of Windows XP from a standard CD and I get some funny messages during installation that the HD is not recognized and also the CD and battery, etc. When the computer restarts after the installation I get the BSOD with error 0x0000007b
What Miss me?
Hi ymkx,
That s not unusual Windows XP can only detect the SATA HARD drive if you integrate the SATA (AHCI) driver. This package is called Intel Storage Manager and on the Web from Toshiba site, there is an article how to create a new installation with these drivers disc:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB85017Z0000R01.htmIn addition, this has been discussed here 100 times or more then use the forum search if you have other questions. That s not mobile specific in order to check all the discussions here on the XP installation.

HP envy m6 1125dx: upgrade problem lower windows 7 installation
Hi all
I read the long thread regarding the decommissioning of windows 8 to 7 64 "windows... drivers need. "and found it very useful and also found a site that has collected the drivers win 7 compatible with the model 1125dx and I installed win 7 with success at Christmas for my girlfriend. But now I need to recreate this facility and cannot win 7 to install.
Recently, she has lost the function of mouse (seemed to be caused either by an update of windows driver touchpad or because we installed a keyboard/mouse wireless logitec - both happened at the same time). Strangely, I could not restore to an earlier point that windows would be Basel during the restoration. I deleted the mouse driver and then it worked until you restart and then the mouse would freeze again after recognizing him and by installing the mouse driver. I found an "unknown pci device" in device manager and thought it might conflict a address so I removed it. This is turned out to be the keyboard then neither worked and since I could not restore (and Windows 7 if found says recovery disc start errors which he attempted in vain to fix) in frustration I decided to do a fresh install, but here is where I'm stuck.
I remember I had to load at least one or maybe install some drivers chipset as an option advanced before win 7 and I think that I have found (using the suggested since a comparable win 7 64 laptop chipset driver listed in the forum). I loaded all the listed drivers compatible with my hardware (except got an error the two USB drivers-error message indicating a need to update drivers - but hope to win 7 would install at least). Unfortunately, I get the dreaded message 'windows can install the hardware of the machine '. I wonder if I need additional / better chipset drivers or if maybe his laptop has a problem at the level of the material and I'll spend more days don't not because something fried/corrupted.
Thanks for any help!
Hello:
See if it works...
Download the drivers from this link below (first or second file listed - 32 or 64 bit depending on the case).
Extract (copy) the files on a USB FlashDrive without all records.
With the flash drive plugged into a USB2 port and the W7 installation media into the machine, boot from the installation of W7 media.
After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.
You should now see the storage driver files listed.
If you check the box, it only includes the compatible driver.
Follow the prompts and hopefully, W7 should install.
If it works, for the drivers and software, you can use all the W7 x 64 drivers and software the m6t-1000, except the BIOS and firmware files.
Notepad you work has the graphics card Intel HD, not the AMD one.

Return the new processor. Otherwise, take your PC to a competent PC repair shop when post errors can be properly diagnosed.

HP ENVY m6-1125dx HDMI driver for w8.1
Hello
I have a HP Envy m6-1125dx who still uses windows 8. In January, I've upgraded to 8.1 but my hdmi port had some problems. If I connect a monitor or TV using hdmi, the screen is black and white and very 8-bit graphics as. The hdmi port and the drivers work very well on windows 8. This seems to be a driver problem. When I had these problems, I downloaded the latest drivers on your support for this model site. The most recent of 10 to 2013, which I believe is around when 8.1 has been released. The pilots did nothing to solve this problem.
Because a working hdmi port is important for me, I went back to windows 8. I see now that Microsoft will push people to update their windows computers 8 or possibly start for not having supported and security problems. I would like to be able to update this computer that I use for work, but I need it to be able to connect to hdmi.
Will there be new drivers fate soon for this? Are there drivers that I'm missing? It's a little frustrating that a computer that is about a year and a half (a little less then a year when the 8.1 came out) is taken in charge of driver, as much as it can not be moved down to windows 7. I hope that we move upward with a solution to my problem until I update again!
Thank you.
Brandon
Hi, Brandon:
Have you tried the Intel W8.1 directly from Intel graphics drivers?
BTW, your model can easily be downgraded to W7 x 64 using the drivers and software of envy m6t-1000.
Do not use any of the BIOS or firmware download.

HP Envy 4520: Boring "Installed a new HP ink cartridges" window
I just install new ink cartridges in my printer. Now everytime I turn on the printer, I get these annoying windows that says: I just installed new ink. How can I keep this window to come whenever I turn on my printer? I have a HP Envy 4520 10 Windows (64-bit) PC.
In fact, I found a program that HP had installed on my machine, called "One Click" which took place whenever I turned on my printer. I just deleted the app and all is well. Thank you!

How to install fresh windows 8 or 8.1 on hp pavilion g7 A8 AMD vision
Hello!
My 8.1 Windows Update has been getting problem he ask to update windows I refresh now I get small footprint in the C: drive, I want to install fresh windows to get more sapce on C drive but without lossing in my other data disks now how do
Help me
Since you're working from a laptop, I suppose that you have only one physical disk. You will need to backup all your data on an external hard drive before reinstalling windows.
However, if 'windows update' is to install the updates, it will just reinstall these updates with the new facility. If you see a screenshot of the error you received, it would be easier for me to identify what happened and better help.
Something that you can try before reinstalling windows is running software like CCleaner to clean the temporary files on your system. This will ger RID a lot of irrational data that may accumulate on your computer. It can remove certain parameters, so be sure to check that you delete only things you don't need, as the process permanently deletes the user files.

Long story short, I contracted somehow malware that made my unnecessary desktop icons. I can't click on them or right click anything. The only way I can manuver IE and on any program that I can start is to use desktop shortcuts.
I run Malwarebytes and got rid of the number 1. I never got navagate Malwarebytes good enuf to view the log file. The virus (if I had one) seems to have disappeared, but has changed some things in my regisery. As I said, I can't click on anything on my desktop. I CAN navagate my Start menu without any problem. But when IE opens or ANY other program, I can navagte only these programs through shortcuts to the office.
Can't seem to do here so I tried to reinstall windows using my Vista Home Premium disc. I did with a previous pc using XP. But for some reason, I can't find an option just uninstall windows so I can install a new version of windows. I like to always keep all files and data, but simply install fresh windows once again. To me that seems the easiest was around my problem.
Is it possible to do what I ask of my Vista restore disk?
BTW, I don't have a restore point to fall back on. My hard drive is close to being complete and I used the restore function a few days before this problem and now I can not find a restore point before I fell on my current problem.
I was told their may be a reg backup utility that comes with Vista. Is this true? This could be everything that I need to fix my problem?
Thank you
Of all things... it's my mouse.
I have it has given it a thought for a moment at the beginning then threw the idea because I could use my mouse anywhere in the start area. I could left click, right click with ease, but once I opened a program or a Web page that is opened in the main window, I couldn't click on anything whatsoever.
I reformatted with issue of you SME, but now, I try a different mouse and all is well... shessh.
Walter Merci for all the help.

Can I use the CD that came with my Palm Z22 to install on my new computer Windows 8 2005?
I'm upgrading from a Dell XP machine on a computer Dell Windows 8. My old Palm Z22 driver installation CD will work to load the software into my new Windows 8 machine; or do I need to download a new software specifically for Windows 8?
After losing almost three frustrating weekends, I finally got my Z22 to synchronize with Windows 8. You never answered my first question [can I use the CD that came with my Palm Z22 to install on my new computer Windows 8 2005?], that would have eliminated a lot of uncertainty in my many attempts to synchronize with the download of version 6.2 has recommended you. Fortunately, I wasn't the original CD with version 4.2, because 6.2 has toured with a bit more clear instructions and a new download of http://www.palmdr.com/windows-7-64-bit-usb-drivers
Thanks for your advice in any case.

Are you sure that your CD/DVD drive is faulty? I want to say have you tried to boot from the Windows disc?
Usually, you can order a new reader service authorized in your country. Guys offers a new drive and an Exchange if you n t want to do it yourself. Just give them a call or an email, I m that you can clarify this issue with them! :)

Hi Ricksd,
Welcome to the HP Forum.
If you still have an old driver Validity Sensor in your system, you may need to upgrade to one that supports 8.1:
sp58869 validity sensor V4.4.234.0 Win8
If you still use an older version of the HP SimplePass software, you may need to upgrade the program.
If you have recently upgraded to 8.1 Windows, make sure that all of your Windows updates are up-to-date.
If everything is already at the level of the correct version, then you can get away with just reset the drivers:
- Close all your programs and shut down your computer
- Unplug everything (little unifying for the keyboard / mouse external can stay)
- Perform the Hard Reset for your laptop
- Start the computer and connect
If the Hard Reset does not help,
so check out this guide for advice on how to relax program in order:
