HP Envy Phoenix 810-135qe: message HP Support Assistant do not delete

I get a message on my printer in the Assistant de Support HP (HP Envy 5530 all-in-One Printer)

and I get the yellow triangle telling me that there is a message.   I open the HP Support Assistant and remove the message but the yellow triangle never disappears in my devices at the top of the HP Support Assistant window.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the HP Support Assistant two times and get the same thing twice.

This is the message that will not be deleted:

"HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one and Deskjet Ink Advantage 4510 e-all-in-One Printer Series - a Message ' Out of paper ' is displayed on the control panel and the printer doesn't pick up paper

Thank you

Jeannie

I just read another post and it recommended to turn off the power to the printer and then unplug the printer and leave it for 10 minutes.

I did then turned on the printer, then Assistant to the open support and messages have disappeared. I worked on this for a while and all we needed was unpluging the printer for 10 minutes.

If I need to apply this patch, it would be nice to understand a little better what to expect and what is fixed and/or improvements.  You have to forgive me because I'm old school and I usually generally follow the routine "if it ain't broke don't fix it".  I'll do what it takes well so I have a better understanding of what is going to happen in the case where updating mess something inadvertently.

    Hello:

What is the technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology software.

    http://www.Intel.com/support/chipsets/IMSM/sb/CS-020784.htm

It is not necessary to install the update if you do not want.

I doubt you will notice a difference in performance if you have it installed.

It is unlikely that all the problems would result in the update (however could apply Murphy's law), but like you said... "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

    Hi @jeanniespc,

I would simply ignore the false reading of the HP Support Assistant software as uninstalling and reinstalling does not solve the problem.

  • My Book 3.0 (1 TB, USB 3.0) detection with envy Phoenix 810-135qe problem

I have a My Book 3.0 (1 TB, USB 3.0)... The older My Book not the newest one... "My Book Essential" or something like that.

I used it with W7 x 64 backup utility on an older office of the HP (HP Pavilion a6560t) without problem until my new HP Envy 810-135qe happened. I downloaded the latest drivers from WD support and the PnPed thing very well off the non powered USB 3.0 at the rear of the 810. However, the 810 gives up the connection after sleep, hibernation, lock, or simply over time. I ran diagnostics on the WD and cables, all the beautiful removed. I tried cutting power saving s 3.0 to USB in device (just a guess) Manager, and that seemed to work for a few weeks, but I still have the problem of detection from time to time. All my drivers are up to date on the HP circuit. I completely reformat the WD now to see if that would solve the question somehow (I'll update in the next few days on how that worked).

Someone has an idea what is wrong? I suspect something with the BIOS. HP chat support has been no help (they go through the same checks that I've done myself) and they got really scary on another cat when I asked about adding an SSD as boot drive (I knew it was a problem of here and other forums)... Set myself to second level support, and all what they told me it is that they could not tell me something... Basically, not support for a config except for how they were shipped because it's a "customized" version (Yes, time to chagrin of the buyer).

Second, anyone running a similar config with a remote backup that works well? My WD is getting old so I thought one of the more recent portable USB 3.0 hard drives (2.5-3.5). My features to follow.

  • Condusiv ExpressCache modification on Envy Phoenix 810-135qe or similar

Does anyone have details on how to adjust/change the customized version of the software ExperssCache of Condusiv on a 810qe? The best info I've found are the Readme on my PC :-/

Supported HP L1 just kept saying I had a CTO without necessary mods, this is the best, and so on. I did up to L2 or L3 and told me the only info/support I'd get HP to get software original work and material configs (which did not change anything on ExpressCache). The guy was kind enough to say that if the thing went belly, reminder play dumb and they would help it return to the initial state.

I know that the retail version of the software has a cousin of GUI that comes with it (or integrated). I also read that other manufacturers of PC included something similar to it on their OEM versions. Anyone tried interacting with the version of HP with the help of one of these tools (assuming that all are independent), or even replacement of HP with retail ExpressCache?

I thought about (1) copy of the program to test the environment (an old Dell Latitude I abuse as this is my passion) just to see what options come up and if that doesn't get me anywhere, (2) remove the mSATA card, delete ExpressCache, reinstall the card and retarget it or (3) do nothing and letting 'not used' (I hate this idea I'll have a little vision in the devil and ExpressCache are up to and it's a waste)... I know, I know, a lot of work for little gain, but I paid for the thing, so I want to use it...

All this is part of the reconfig material where I'm going to an SSD boot and switching to a second drive HARD drive. The struggles of others dealing with 'something' in the BIOS/UEFI (and I suspect ExpressCache) when trying to simply pass on the HARD for one SSD drive are well documented here and other forms. Some fail (thinking that the SSD will be PnP on the same niche as the HHD after cloning), but others have been well informed and still had the wrong questions.  I'm re-thinking the process, starting with how to @old_geekster get first machine boot on the SSD with the HDD removed, but who want it all, I will not reinstall the stock reformatted HARD drive and I want to reconfig ExpressCache to buffering of the HARD drive now no bootable (I understand ExpressCache this will make as TSRI is only a tool to boot drive).

If I can get the SSD as boot drive and the HARD assets as a second disk drive, I give up and just remove the thing

Sorry for the long story (hoping for some ad libs that are off-topic)... I hope that Kenobie Obi - Wan is not my only hope (he's not Comin ' and I wouldn't rather clear CMOS)...

    See you soon,.

Ref: @old_geekster and @airbridge for discussion at the disk SSD switch ref - ed above... http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-hardware/UEFI-BIOS-access-changing-boot-drive-order-to-SSD-Arrg...

    Let's recap...

-So I took the old Geekster recipe and it worked perfectly. http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/desktop-hardware/UEFI-BIOS-access-changing-boot-drive-order-to-SSD-Arrg... Has raced with a 850 single SSD PRO for a month or more without problem. And then I decided that I had read all the threads tech bloody on Earth about this executable mystery that fractures of these machines on the reintroduction of their stock of hard drives. I had some theories, and I guess I felt lucky this morning...

    End of the story...

-J' reformatted the HDD Seagate with another machine. I tested the water by using it as an external hard drive via the USB port for a few days on the computer, whence he came, and nothing extraordinary occurred.

-This morning I removed the mSATA SSD and Condusiv ExpressCache later. Do not enter the software removal, as I'm sure if had to repeat several times, I wouldn't miss a good bit.

-Reinstalled now own OEM HARD drive in slot 5. Moved the 850 slot 0 (seat of origin of the HARD drive). Play time.

    - As expected, 'it' (I guess that the executables in the UEFI?) noticed the Seagate and things are haywire. My experience was different because I don't think that the HARD drive is never turned on and I found myself on a screen of HP recovery with an option to have Win 7 try a fix.

-Win 7 said it applied patches after crossing it 2 times, but I never exceeded the badges of HP.

-The third time (and the things happened more slowly each round), I went to the BIOS.

-In the BIOS, I checked the 1st UEFI boot order and noticed that the HARD drive was less UEFI in the sequence of the BIOS.

-J' put the 850 a place north of the Windows boot sequence, and it is wonderfully since then booted up.

I bought this PC thinking, I don't have the time or the interest to perform a build, I've never interacted with a set of cache HDDxSSD, so I'll give it a go and if I want, then I'll switch to solid state. I should also mention that I was a loyal customer of HP for decades... It is outrageous to realizing they let people buy what a machine that has been deliberately designed to resist changes in configuration without explicitly informing the consumer.

It took me 10 x the time to do this thing where I wanted to... More ever, I'm cold put in a generation. Although this thing is now massively smooth, I'll be TINKERING the rest of my days.

  • How to add hard drive for HP Envy Phoenix 810-135qe CTO.

My previous Pavalion motherboard failed and I ordered the current desktop.  I have the hard drive of the defective system.  He had the same operating system, windows 7, 64 bit, like this again.  I know some information about adding HDD to envy again.  No info on the motherboard or connections.  P5 and P6 power connectors are avilable for additional hard disks.  I see there are some open sata connectors on the motherboard, but need more info and direction on which one to use, or if things do, etc..  before I add the hard drive.

Use any header open SATA on the motherboard that you want to use. As long as you don't make changes to the current boot order in the BIOS and save the changes, it will not count.

Look in to the new hard drive disk management.  To use the full capacity of the drive, you'll need to be initialized and he the GPT format.  Don't forget to assign a drive letter and a volume name.  In addition, make sure that the drive appears as online and not in offline mode.

OK I need help with my HP Envy Phoenix 810-130qe desktop computer. My pc came with Windows Pro 8.1 and it had an audio panel where you can set the audio beats. • HP ENVY Phoenix 810-445qe: specifications of need on 14.79 GB "Disk 1" labelled "Datadrive1 (e).

I spent the last few days setting up a brand new HP ENVY Phoenix 810 - 445qe I ordered from HP.com. (Information system down in the case, it may be necessary.)

I did what all the new owners of the system should do after you set up the system: I did a DVD repair system, and am about to do my first image with Windows 7 (64 bit) backup.

Of course, when you perform an image backup (which is like making a photocopy of your hard drive to a point in time) you can not store this backup on the same drive you're imaging, for the obvious reason that you can not write to disk at the same time you are Imaging it. If the image backup dialog box gave me three options of storage location:

    (1) Datadrive1 (E)
    (2) WD MyBook external hard drive (G)
    (3) Blu - Ray / DVD / CD drive (F)

I was curious about the "Datadrive1" because I didn't know that's where! I don't me read something about it, then I went to control panel > system and security > ' Create and format hard disk partitions "(under administrative tools on the system menu and security - or the type of management of the computer in the Start Menu) to take a look at the drives and partitions.

This computer was said to come with a SATA 3 TB and because disk 0 is close to 3 TB, with a labeled 100 MB partition "EFI System Partition" a 2779,01 GB NTFS partition labeled "OS (C)" and an "HP RECOVERY (D)." 15,28 labeled GB NTFS partition So, there we have the bootloader partition, the partition of operating system Windows 7 and the HP recovery partition.

But there is also a 'disc 1' labeled 'DATADRIVE1 (E)"formatted as one 14.79 GB NTFS partition. I was surprised to see this data disc, because one of my complaints about HP computers in the past (or at least those available through Best Buy) was that they were always set up with one disc for the operating system and data. (It is always a bad idea to host your data on the same drive that your operating system, because the system disks get use more heavy and are more prone to failure.)

I recognized my Western Digital My Book 1 TB drive disc 2, entitled ' My Book (G) ' and formatted as a single partition NTFS of GB 931,48. It is the external drive only, I am informed, plugged into one of the USB 3.0 ports.

So I called the support for questions on disk 1. Where is he? Is what kind of drive? Is what brand? Etc, etc. HP support officer did not know the answer to that! She told me that my system only comes with an internal hard drive and therefore that * must * be an external drive belonging to me. I have an external USB drive connected but it's G drive.

The only USB devices connected physically are: dongle USB wireless keyboard and mouse from HP; My WD My Book drive; and a HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-One printer with nothing plugged into its card reader, who can't stand not anything on the order of 14.79 GB anyway.

I would like to know the details about this DATADRIVE1, because) I don't really know what it is and if I should write data there and b) do not know how stable the device is. Thanks in advance for your help.

  • HP ENVY Phoenix 810: Tiles and charms stop working

Tiles and charms stop working. When the tiles stops working (by clicking tile on causes Office Office window to scroll) and I could still access the charm of the research, I ran sfc/scannow as administrator. He showed a couple of corrupt files, he couldn't fix, but on reboot, the tiles and the charms worked again. Have experienced this on four times at this point.

Seems to have started with the last Windows 8.1 update and is somehow related to the engine OneDrive of synchronization.  I hadn't used onedrive; started using it, and this mess. I disabled all settings onedrive pc and laptop and stopped using it. However, the message "Synchronization engine OneDrive" appears for no apparent reason, and then the tiles and charms stop working.  If I have Outlook and Foxfire open apps, they still work, and their open windows always appear in the toolbar at the bottom. All other app shortcut links that have normally pinned it disappear.

When I try to shut down the PC, if I can do this via the charm of power, I get a message that it cannot be closed because the "Portrait Display Inc. app prevents close.» There is no such program indicated in the list of installed programs in Control Panel. I understand computer Googling there somehow integrated in the HP PC.

It is a HP Envy Phoenix 810, with a monitor (not touch) HP, both purchased December 2013. 8.1 Windows running automatic updates; using McAffee All - Access AV, up-to-date. Standard desktop applications. No software of Dingo.

I see that many other people have had this problem, used the approach of the sfc/scannow, with little lasting effect.

    Hi all!

I am writing to talk about upgrading my PC, a HP ENVY Phoenix 810 - 230qe, as a whole. Initially, I bought a PC with a FX-8320 and a little sad back in 2013 graphics card and bought a carepack with her. Once the graphics card has failed and has been replaced three times in a single year, I called HP support and a nice case manager (thank you Lorraine!) hooked me up with this one - a k 4770, 12 GB of RAM and a beautiful 270 r9. However, I'm not comfortable with the temperatures of the PC under load because there is only a single fan for all of your PC and it is blocked by water from Asetek 92 mm cooling for the CPU package.  So, I was looking to upgrade the PC as a whole around my birthday later this year. I had planned on keeping the CPU, GPU, RAM and 2 TB HDD, but I was left confused - the PC came with a 16GB mSATA 'Cache', and I know not whether or not the 2 TB of HARD drive or the mSATA drive has my Windows OS on it - if it has Windows, I'm having a few problems. A photo of two devices are here. Furthermore, I don't know how the CPU is. I was wondering if anyone knew or not that the CPU has been mounted normally or if it has been welded on - motherboard was made by MSI and the model name is "MS-7826.

If someone wants to see my upgrade of the list or make suggestions, it can be found here. I hope I can get some tips on the PC as well as help with my questions!

What you are wanting to do can work.  However, whenever you have high end components in a matter of smaller size, you will have problems with the HEAT.  You're right to worry.  Heat will cause all components to fail prematurely.  If you try to move the motherboard for another case, you must ensure that the holes in the match of the motherboard the accessory in the case.  In addition, some of the connectors cannot be the same as in a case of HP.  HP has their motherboards designed specifically for them.
