  It sounds like you may have a HP ePrint-enabled application to print on a time basis.

  You remember putting ePrint, either via the site Web hp ePrint, or maybe the display of your printer?

  1st, check the display of the printer (if it has one):

  3. If you have an application that is intended to be printed, then you should be able to disable it from here.

  I'm trying to set up my printer to print wireless from my Mac (Yosemite 10.10) documents on a network shared University.  When I chose the designated wireless, I get the message "unable to connect to the network. Not support authentication or encryption type. »

  Can someone help me with this problem. I downloaded the software from the CD, but my printer did not come, because it was not plugged in on the wireless I guess.

  Will not to happen because your school is displayed using business authentication which may require a user name and password. You want to never connect a wireless printer to a public WiFi as everyone on campus is your printer and printing reams of paper it without reason. Connect via a cable of the printer for safety.

• HP Officejet want 5740: HP Envy does not print from the photo tray

  I understand that you are having problems to print from the photo tray. I can help you with this.

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
  Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
  This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  Here are the steps to print the photos. HP ENVY 5540, 5570 Deskjet and Officejet 5740 - print photo printers.

  If you're still having problems, it may be a damaged printer driver, try the following:

  Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:

  Close all applications.

  In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.

  Double-click disk utility.

  Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.

  Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

  Restart the computer...

  Reset the printing system:

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.

  Click on Printers & Scanners.

  Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.

  Type the name and the correct password.

  Click OK to reset the printing system.

  Then click on the sign to add the driver, highlight the printer +. (you may need to click the drop down menu to select the name of the printer) Then click the Add button.

  Try another application to see if you have the same results.

• HP Envy 5540: HP Envy 5540 will not be printed on A4 photo paper

  As said in the title, the HP envy 5540 which has brought us recently will not print on A4 photo paper. When you try this it will be just the paper jam. It can print on the matte side of the shiny paper but who despises the point to print on glossy paper. Glossy paper in which you provided (10 x 15 cm) works very well so I don't see what the problem is.

  So I thought I'd post a response cela in case someone else wins the same problem. To resolve this problem when you put paper in the tray make sure that it is placed as left as possible. The reason for this is because the paper gets stuck to the right of the printer inside, this is of course because this model isn't try and calibrate the book itself just cause, it assumes that the Board is good enough.
  If this still does not work then I recommend that once in the basic printing options, select photo paper (HP or not depending on what you have). More there are also in Control Panel > display devices and printers and right click on the printer model you are using, and then select Printing Options. Then, check the orientation of the layout and for verification of the quality of the paper / source paper and media for what you feel would be good for you.

  Hope this helps someone else who has this problem because when I looked around I saw never the solution.

• HP Envy 7640: MacBook Pro photos to photo tray printing problem

  Printer does not print photos from the Mac to the photo tray.  Prints to letter size tray.  I deleted the printer, readded it, updated the drive, the printer of the stop, pulled the plug of the printer, pulled the plug from the wall, stop comptuer and then all restarted.  I can re - print a copy of a photo to the photo tray so I know it works.   Keep constantly wasting trying to print to the photo tray.  It seems to be the link between the Mac and the photo tray.  Extremely frustrating!

  Photo will not print from the photo tray. When I try to print the photo tray is not recognized.   Since you are able to get the picture to print, which would indicate that the question is in the software, not the hardware. You should be able to print from programs other than the Windows Photo Viewer. If you experience problems when you try to print from other programs, I recommend that you contact the manufacturer of the software.

  I saw your post and wanted to drop to answer you! The printer does not have a memory to print, some units will store a memory fax 30 days, but that's all. The factory reset you have already done on the front would be the reset I would have suggested to try for peace of mind.

  The Sony PlayMemories software offers only to insert & print date and image.

  If you want to have the GPS data printed on the image, you need to use 3rd party software.

  I found that the following software is capable of tramping of selected EXIF data, including the GPS on the image.

  You can select just the GPS data are stamped on the image. Once you have stamped all your images (batch mode is available) while this stamp is visible on a printed (hard copy) as well.

  I just got this printer and cannot print from the photo tray.  He printed from the phototray during installation and configuration, but it was the only time.  The rest of the time, when I try to print a photo, it selects only in the regular paper tray.

  Is there a magical procedure involved?  I have an operating system of Windows 7 and just installed on the HP site.  I uninstalled and reinstalled, but it still does not work.

  I load a sheet in the phototray, make sure that the correct printer is defined, select the paper size (in this case 4x6in photo sample provided with the printer paper), select HP Everyday Photo Paper, glossy paper, click on print and the printer does not take into account the phototray and prints from the regular paper tray.

  You log out of engraving? What burning program did you use?

  I advise to use the Nero and the different types of CD.
  Perhaps the reader cannot accept this CD because it doesn't support it.
  You should know that not all the CDs and DVDs are compatible with each drive.
