HP F2280 all-in-one: F2280 Solution Center cannot run

I can't get the Solution Center to run so that I see the ink level, but I can print fine, well, I have it started printing strangely so want to first check the ink levels, but it is another question.

My laptop is a Lenovo G50, but I got it running on a previous laptop.

I went on HP website, downloaded the appropriate software and drivers with the usb cable plugged in all the time, but it came with the message:-

"HP Solution Center cannot work because your device installation is not complete...". "etc.

I tried to go through the solutions already here but could not get to work or the other.

Thanks in advance

He sussed!

I tried to recall what (if any) I did differently between the two total uninstall and reinstall and remembered I unchecked intentionally some of the boxes of things to install on the last snack he disliked some of them for a reason-it was the opposite, if they stayed all checked, then it installed fine Open the center of Solution and print fine - PHEW.

Thank you very much for you help!

Because there was a registry error in your installation, you will need to uninstall and reinstall the printer software. Below, I've posted some links to documents that offer instructions on how to uninstall, and then reinstall the HP software. • Photosmart C4795: Solution Center cannot run because your installation of the device is not complete

Months after HP software reload to correct a mistake, I lost my HP Solution Center during installation.

Today, I ran the utility HP Print and Scan doctor and downloaded the software to install the HP Solution Center, but the following error message:

HP solutions Center can not run because your device installation is not complete.

I want to set up a wireless printer connection.

    Appreciate your help.

    Jean,

It was quite a process, but everything seems to work well!

I just rebooted my laptop, and now I have the HP Solution Center!

The error message that I mentioned in my previous note seems to have disappeared (I hope never to reappear!).

The question that light that I see is that the HP Support Assistant is always located on my taskbar.  How can I get rid of this?

I can't thank you enough, John, for all your help and advice!

  • "Solution Center cannot work because your device installation is not complete."

I read the posts that deal with this problem before, but none of the solutions seem to work for me. When you try to open the solution Center I get the error message: "Solution Center cannot work because your installation of the device is not complete."  Argh, again! He used to work, but all of a sudden no longer. I uninstalled it, reinstalled, restarted print spooling, update adobe flash, has run windows updates, changed the "HP CUE Device Discovery" start-up, disabled virus protection, tried to connect by USB instead of wireless, etc... I also tried:

    1. download and install the following update

    4 open the Util folder

    5 open the CCC folder

    ...

    ...

.. but is there a "Util" folder in the folder starting with 7z...

I don't have a disk, rather downloaded the software.

    It sucks, any other suggestions...?

I have a computer Dell Vostro laptop running Windows 7 Professional 32 - bit and 64 - bit, connected wireless to a HP Photosmart C4599 all-in-one.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I finally got it! I have decided, once more, uninstall and reinstall. I eventually several files that began with 7z... I found one who had a "Util" folder it contains and a "CCC file" in this context, so I was able to continue with instructions of a related post, HP employee "pcwizard":

If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:

    1. type % temp % in the field of race

    2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    5. If you have an HP computer, run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a computer not HP, run the L4uninstall.exe

    6. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

7 run the Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

  • Solution Center cannot be found. Install from a valid copy of the installation package

    Original title: "Solution Center"

I'm having a problem with the Solution Center, and this window pop up on the screen says it is impossible to find and install from a valid copy of the installion package. I have not all copies of the operating system. The computer came loaded with all that.

    What can I do?

It is built into the operating system. There is no separate download or the available installation option.  I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the computer for a set of recovery disc (for a small fee) and with those, you should be able to re - install Vista back to the center of Solution - or maybe they will sell you a copy cheap real Installation of Vista disc.  Remember using recovery discs is as a new installation, so you need to back up everything that you want to save (your data at least) that the process will wipe the drive clean of everything.  An image backup will not help as it will scan the newly installed Solution Center when it restores.  You may be able to make your own disks if you have a recovery Partition - ask the manufacturer to this topic too and how to do it if possible.

Another option is to borrow a disk for Installation of Vista genuine in the same size of the bit and use it to make a repair/update that will preserve your data, programs and settings (a MUCH better option if you can borrow a disk from anyone or get a good price from the manufacturer, if they even offer it).  He will know the correct version of the product key.  Then make a copy for yourself 'for next time"because they are not protected against copying.

You can reach the center of online solutions to the: http://support.microsoft.com/ph/11732#tab0.  It is not exactly the same as installed with Vista, but it doesn't do a good job and can serve your needs if you don't like or are not alternatives.

Here is the Microsoft policy on the replacement of the software; http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246 which is essentially what I said just above (and some additional information).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck.
