  Hi all

  I am using A6030N desktop for five years, had to let it stay on for almost two years.

  But this desktop computer little worked fantastically til last week.

  Its motherboard might have been fried, but I'm not sure. Here are the symptoms.

  (1) whenever the power cord is connected, everything is turned on even if I did not press the power switch.

  Swapping 2) power supply card and remove switch power connector has not helped. Whatever I do, he repeated #1.

  I was looking for a replacement motherboard, Nettle3-GL8E(ECS MCP61PM-HM), but the lowest price was $ 60, quite expensive for the old model.

  The other disadvantage is that the background shield of basket I/O (where the audio and other ports are) will not match. This means that the desktop computer PC will always be open to the back of the motherboard for dust to enter.  It is not a big problem if you want to combine a system.

  It should have the same ports. Worst case you end up with an open port hole or having to open a small hole in the crankcase with a dremel tool, but none are likely.

• Replacement motherboard for Pavilion a6110n desktop PC / BIOS version

  Newbie here.  After reading on various forums and watch clips of youtube, I think I can do this.  I'm no expert, as experienced folk you will quickly realize. But I messed up with computer hardware installed in the past.

  Problem: my screen froze, accompanied by groups of small lines dotted migration across the screen. Upon reboot, the screen is black and all off.  The monitor works on another computer; However, the computer monitor displays No Signal when connected to my computer.

  I went through the troubleshooting guide "monitor or TV is empty after starting the computer" on this site.  Nothing has worked - at the end it says replace video cards or a Service.  I decided that my computer has no se video card.  but that the video is built into the motherboard and that is what needs to be replaced.

  The Board of Directors is NARRA2-GL8E, M2N68 - LA, Ref. HP 5188-8534.  I can quite easily replace the Council itself. I want a PLUG-AND-PLAY solution.  But what I've read is that, unless the replacement AND the version of the BIOS card is exactly the same, some BIOS reconfiguring is necessary, and that's what I'm a little uncomfortable with. I found a Board to sell with the 5.10 Version (6/23/2007-Phoenix).  Problem is without a video signal, I can't tell what version I have (my original BIOS version somehow traceable by serial number? Pavilion a6110n, System #GG718AA, S/N CNH71903LB, Best Buy bought 23/11/2007).  For what it's worth, I also found (on this site) is only a BIOS update for my computer: 2007-11-09, Version: 5.13, 1.36 M

  If I have no way of ensuring plug-and-play, I'll probably go ahead and fork over the dough to a professional because I'm worried about messing with the BIOS with no prior experience.

  I have a HP Pavilion a810n. old, Yes, but still worked very well.  During a storm the other day, that the power is out and my battery emergency shut down my system.  A few hours later, I went to my battery back up back to turn on my computer.  A flood of transmitted power sparks shooting out of my diet that left my opperational non of the machine.  Hoping that my diet was the only thing damaged I replaced it but when I turned it still nothing.  My mother thinking Board is fried.  I want to replace it with the exact or equivalent motherboard using my existing CPU and memory.  Finally my question.  Which model should I and where can I get it?  Cheap would be great. Thank you in advance!

• Replacement motherboard for tuner problems

  The model is a KDL-40EX400 and simply works great with the exception of the over-the-air (Off The Air). We recently replaced DirecTv with an external antenna. The antenna works very well because I plugged the cable into another Sony TV and the picture is large.

  Cannot lock the 40EX400 in a path if the images are blurred.

  I've been shopping around for a replacement main Board and the part # I got from the shop Jimmy.COM is 1-859-593-21 A and it is out of stock.

  When I look at the map in the TV, it is marked 1-881-683-12. Other than the shop Jimmy sites I can buy a Board of 1-881-683-12, but it says it's for a KDL-40EX600.

  This Committee will work in my TV. It seems that there are significant differences between the 400 and 600, and yet the 683-12 is located in my TV.

  I had a lot of experience to the PC Repair which mainly involved circuit switching, and it seems like he will be here. But of course I don't want to have the right part.

  Can someone help with this confusion?

  Also, I was able to find a Board on ebay, then we will do it, see if that fixes it.

  A change in motherboards that isn't "blessed" HP (tattooed) will result in a loss of the OEM of Windows licenses and the HP recovery discs no longer works. Microsoft links the OEM Windows license to the motherboard of the PC.

  In General if the chipset supports the i5 processor, then the i7 should benefit from too.
