HP G62 - 220CA: afer white screen 15 mts on battery

Laptop HP G62 - 220-CA
When on battery power 80% (new battery) my screen turns off after changing the amount of times (10 mts, mts 20, 30 mts etc.). The power led lights up. By pushing the Start button / stop, Exc key, enter the key or moving the mouse has no effect. Sleep time and Hibernate are set to 5 hours. To turn the screen back on I should remove the battery and install it again after 5 seconds. Install the charger has no effect. The charger must not be connected when I insert the battery or laptop does not restart. . When the computer has finished restarting on the battery, the battery shows approximately 80%. The applications that I had opened until the screen went white are active. If I connect the charger once the laptop has restarted on battery, it shows that he is in charge. The laptop will be stays on until I have stop now that I have the charger connected. If I don't connect the power screen will be empty again within a variable period. I used the HP Support assistant to install the latest updates and completed the air upward. I also used it to check the battery and it said that the State is OK. Does anyone have a solution to try to keep the screen to go blank so that on the power of the battery with a fully charged battery?

Hi rayarms,

The difference between the clean boot and Safe Mode, is that Safe Mode will load the bare minimum, value drivers and computer services to the top and executes. While a clean boot prevents any extra, but optional software and programs running on start up.

So it's very probably a problem of driver causing the problem. A driver who would normally be the load to be clean, but don't start working not in Safe Mode. This happens to a service or a driver of operating system. To resolve this problem, I would recommend doing a full System Recovery. Just make sure that you back up your files on a USB flash drive or an external hard drive importantant.

  • G62 white screen

    Hi all

I have a HP G62-b26SA laptop that worked fine yesterday, today when I started that I had was a blank screen, after a few attempts still empty a screen, so I checked online and tried again to start in a dark room with a torch, but still could not see anything on the screen, then the next connected to an external monitor and still just a white screen but also noticed an orange light on the F12 key.  If anyone can help, it's the screen or a dead laptop?

    Concerning

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

Unfortunately, my best guess is that everything points to a failure a faulty GPU - if it was that only laptops appear at fault, it is still an output video when you connect to an external display.  The graphics chip of 4250 HD to your laptop is integrated on the system board.  Purchase a card replacement (if available) of HP would be prohibitively expensive (in my opinion), but you may be able to get a good second hand Board from somewhere like EBAY or try to get your 'converted' existing GPU chip using a service like the one on the link below.

I have NBA 2 K 16 for my 64 GB Apple TV 2 and have had problems with the application. The current problem is that the application crashes after the homepage with Harden, Curry, and Davis players featured. I deleted the game and re-uploaded, and it always crashes with a white screen after you press 'A' to continue on the remote keyboard supplied with Apple TV. I was already seen this problem on all my apps, but has found a way to download a free app and "reactivation" of my account with the App Store. Now, all my other games and apps work properly and a few weeks later, I now have the screen 'white crash' that occur only in this game. All the thoughts/help? Thank you!

  • Of failure, white screen MacBook Pro HARD drive try to boot from the external HARD drive

    Hello

I have a 2008 Macbook Pro which is having some problems, I was able to fix them, but eventually the hard drive failed. I know that because at startup until it would have a white screen Uni (no logo) and you can hear a clicking on in the lower left corner. I thought initially it was a memory problem, but after opening and verification of memory, it's clearly the hard drive.

I solved this problem temporarily (until I can replace the HARD disk) by installing El captain on an external HARD disc and start from that. Here's the twist, I couldn't he can begin to El captain, I tried CMD + R, CMD + OPT + R, CMD + OPT + R + P and now shift. Everything that's happened would be that clicks would cease to release the keys.

I left the macbook on while I'm at work, when I got home it was on the screen to connect the external HARD drive.

I accidentally closed the macbook yesterday and again once when I tried to log on, I could not and I left it on a white screen while I was sleeping. There is a possibility that he may have launched from the HARD drive when I get home, but if not, is there something that escapes me to force do this?

    See you soon

Usually start up to a blank screen without the Apple Logo, may report one of the following:

    • Hardware failure
    • Boot drive is not recognized as valid and updated updated
    • OS X essential software is missing, hurt moved or renamed or corrupt
    • A firmware update is necessary

No matter who, in order to boot from an external drive "bootable", you would normally hold down the Option key until you get a screen that offers a number of devices to try to boot from.

Alternatively, you can try holding down the C key to try to boot from the external drive.

If none of these startup options work, then the bootable disc or the USB port on your MacBook Pro can be the question.

Since you have a Mac pre-2013, if you hold down the D key while booting, the built-in Apple Hardware Test should start up.  This can help to identify hardware problems.

  • 3rd generation ipod white screen

I know it's old, but working well... so far.  White screen.  It is recognized by itunes when plugged into the computer.  Restored successfully on the itunes screen, always white.  Tried the fix with holding home and power button.  Tried to hold the House, volume and power.  Screen remains white.

My question - is all hope gone and I must finally remove this ipod?  It's been great and it's a sudden death - hard to see it go.

    Thanks for any help...

The 3rd gen iPod "classic" has a great sound.  If you tried to do a restore already, its likely to be a hardware problem, unfortunately.

These older iPods are easier to repair because they are assembled from items separated and not so integrated and miniaturized.  My work 3rd generation iPod was reassembled broken iPods that I bought on eBay, by swapping pieces.  The screen is not the thing that is broken, most of the time.  If you are somewhat technically inclined, you can remedy.  You can post back for more information.

  • When white screen no display available

I have a laptop. And I did left on so I can access it whenever I need a common practice. But I would also like to turn off the display of the cover and the only way to do is to close the lid, which is fine because I disabled the auto sleep function. The problem is that when access is the computer through the connection distance and open Firefox, all I see is a white screen. now, first of all, we think it's the remote tool. I already proved that this is the case. See Firefox on a remote connection, all I have to do is open the lid so that the view can reactivate or plug in an external display valid to see Firefox. A screenshot from the computer to the remote console also shows that Firefox is just a white screen. Any help on this is much appreciated.

Using hardware acceleration means that Firefox uses the GPU instead of the CPU to perform certain operations and that you will not notice any effect on the performance of Firefox if hardware acceleration is disabled.

  • What is missing when I get a white screen empty when I try to access certain web sites?

On some websites, I get a blank white screen when I try to access it.

You can try the following steps in case of problems with web pages:

You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • MacBook pro white screen A1502

I have macboook pro a1502. When I start the computer, I have white screen... And I expect in 5 minutes, the light of the LCD is on... But the screen remains white. I try to press the power button / stop + ctrl + opt + r + p no effect. I don't know how to try again. In my city no call center and I don't know where to fix my mac. I have in the West of Padang, sumatra Indonesia... Sorry my English so bad... Thank you

Your Mac can do the simplest thing is to start with the down Option. This code here everything in ROM, and if you get the chime, your processor and a bit or RAM work as well.

Startup option (also known as the name of the Boot Manager) draws a blank screen, then during several minutes, adds an icon for each potentially bootable Volume. If your drives are always answers and seem to be bootable, you should get two icons, one for Macintosh HD and one for recovery. If you have a heating engineer/DVD in the drive, which must also be indicated.

  • a white screen and then the application crashes

When I go to my iPhone mail app, there is just a white screen. Sometimes after a few seconds, the application crashes. I can't delete the app because it seems to be "built in". My mail works fine on the MacBook Pro and iPad. I tried all the suggestions on the forum.

    1. Warm reboot
    2. Toggle the settings of the aircraft
    3. Supprimer delete accounts, and then add them again
    4. Recover from a previous backup
    5. Hard Reset then retrieve

Nothing effects mail app it seems be frozen piloted to white, so double-click on the "home" button I see the screen of e-mail in the list, but it is old age and if I select mail it displays the old page but all frozen. How can reset my mail without going through the whole hard reset, process to recover again everything seems to work.

    Update to iOS 9.3.2.

Reset your network settings. Power cycle your iDevice.

    This should help.
