HP G62 229WM with Windows 7 64 bit

I have a HP G62 229 WM with parts of AMD, the processor is the main part of my question. The processor is an AMD v120 series single core... I was wondering if the computer can handle an Intel Pentium D 2.8 ghz processor? I have problems with the processor slowing down a lot, and does not work properly it seems. I have pushed far past what he should do by playing games like WoW and EVE Online with her. I was wondering if I could put Intel in the computer to increase its overall power. the MoBo can handle up to 8 GB of RAM, so I'm assuming it can handle the processor. Processor intel comes from a desktop computer but, reason for my question, pretty much I can drop in and not have problems with compatibility? I do not know the Mobo hand info, I pulled it out too see if I could find the template, but couldn't. If you know the answer, it would be good to know if it is still possible to what I'm trying to make the hand.

Hello

Very simple answer: no, you can't use Intel CPU AMD motherboard or motherboard and vice versa on BOTH laptops and desktop computers.

Kind regards.

    Hello

Is the printer connected to your PC by USB or network?

Using the USB connection, you can scan using Windows Fax and Scan software built into your operating system.

Scanning over a network connection unfortunately supported on Windows7 32 bit only, as you can find listed in the section about network scanning below:

  • I have a piece of test equipment that is not compatible with Windows Vista 64 - bit edition. Is it possible to go back to the 32-bit version without having to re - install?

The test equipment is a Site Master S820D used for the test of microwave signals.  It is not compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit, but is with Windows Vista 32 - bit.  Want to know if there is a way to get back to Windows Vista 32-bit, without having to buy a new operating system.  The program is called "Site Master Handheld Software Tools".

    Hello

If you want to move from a 32-bit version of Windows to a 64 bit version of Windows Vista, or vice versa, you will need to back up your files, then select custom during installation of Windows Vista. Next, you need to restore your files and reinstall your programs

always check the compatibility of vista programs on the link below

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/Windows-Vista/default.aspx

If a program is compatible with vista you can try right click on the setup.exe, and then selecting run as administrator

It is not compatible with vista, you can try running it in a previous operating system mode

This does not work for all programs

HP pavilion dv6-1030us originally with windows vista 64 bit have now upgraded to windows7 32 bit. MIC is unable to send sound in Skype after upgradation.

    Hello

    Try the following.

First, uninstall Skype and when it is finished, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, download and reinstall the Chipset driver here.

Once the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

Let windows load completely, then download the installer of IDT Audio on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp45001-45500/sp45044.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery, connect the power adapter and start Notepad.

Let Windows load fully, then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

Reinstall Skype and see if the MIC now works Ok.

  • Can we install windows vista 32 bit OS on a computer that is pre installed with windows 7 64-bit OS?

Can we install windows vista 32 bit OS on a computer that is pre installed with windows 7 64-bit OS?

@ Ken... I tried installinng windows vista by using the recovery disk that will get a customer with the computer dell laptop... and then he was trying to install vista on my computer... It works fine when installing files, but it is and stucks where he says 'finish installation' and he won't do anything after that... I tried to restart my computer and I could see Microsoft coportation logo and then my computer stucks to this screen and wont connect in... not sure what exactly to do... by the ways for your reply thanks

You cannot use recovery discs to install with, if not for the exact model computer that you install.  You need a full installation detail of the model of Vista operating system you want to install since you don't downgrade your operating system to a system that offers no right of demotion.
  • LaserJet p2015 is not compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit

I just got a new computer with Windows Vista 64-bit operating system.  I tried to connect my HP Laserjet P2015 printer, but it was not recognized.  In addition, the computer does not recognize the CD supplied with the printer.  Download the necessary software on this site?  I can't seem to find it on mine, and I am a novice when it comes to computers.  Any help out there?  see you soon

Go to Support & drivers above.  Click on drivers.  Enter the model number of your printer.  A list of drivers should appear.  IF Windows Vista 64 bit is listed, click on that and you should be on your way.  BUT be aware that not all older printers are compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit.  I have a HP Scanjet 4470c which is not compatible with Windows Vista 64 bit on my new HP computer.  So I have a HP Scanner perfectly although I can't use and this Scanner is not that old.  Good luck!

  • Printer still prints nothing or only partial pages with Windows 7 64 bit

I have a laptop HP with Windows 7, 64-bit four months and I am currently on my THIRD new printer.  When I send a print job to the printer, the printer lights up and prepares to print, and then print anything at all or part of a page and then gives me an error message and cancels the job.  This happened to start with a new HP printer, so I took it and got a new Lexmark printer.  When the same problem happened with the Lexmark, I brought back and now have a brand new Epson.  All three printers have had the same problem.  With the last two, I have tried everything - unplug the printer, the print queue, compensation uninstall, and then reinstall the software, ensuring that programs have been allowed on the Windows Firewall, temporarily disable AVG etc.  A recent post, I found said that to change the print of 'Print immediately' settings to "Printing after last Page is wound" (or something like that) helped, but I tried and it did not help me.  I did a lot of research on Google and it seems to be a persistant problem with Windows 7.  Admittedly, I found that it is not a problem with my printer.  Help, please.  I am a student who is very desperate to print and do not know what else to do...

  • Xerox workcentre ss16 does not work with windows 7 64-bit version

According to Microsoft the xerox workcentre pe16 works perfectly with windows 7 64-bit version (see link http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Details.aspx?type=Hardware&p=Xerox%20WorkCentre%20PE16%20All-in-One%20Printer&v=Xerox&uid=PE16&pf=1&pi=5&c=Printers%20%26%20Scanners&sc=Multifunction&os=64-bit)

However, in reality, it doesn't work and I can't find a driver. what Miss me?

    THX.

If use you Windows Update, it will install a printer driver, but the scanner does not work, Xerox has not yet developed a driver for Windows 7 for this printer/scanner. The latest driver is for Windows Vista since 2008. I hope they won't disappoint us and come up with some appropriate support of Windows 7. If anyone has a work around to install the scanner, I'm all ears.

  • The British version of the DM1 comes with Windows 7 32 bit rather than 64-bit according to the United States

I just bought a HP DM1-3100SA and noticed that it came bundled with Windows 7 32 - Bit Home Pro instead of 64-bit according to the American version (DM1Z?). As far as I can see, the hardware is identical - AMD Fusion E-350, 3 GB, 320 GB drive at 7200 RPM so I see no reason for HP to opt for the operating system 32-bit to the United Kingdom as the E-350 is a 64-bit APU.

Is it possible to re - install W7 64-bit of the recovery partition or am I stuck with W7 32-bit?

I guess that there is the option to purchase the retail copy of W7 64 Home Pro, but seems an unnecessary extra cost.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

If it is still topical for you:

the ISO in Windows7 files can be downloaded from Digital River (the Microsoft online provider - see links below).

These images are free of viruses and completelyLEGA

Of course you must have/buy a valid license, but the laptop key dm1, we can re - use the key provided for Windows7 32 bit.

Watch you if you clean install Windows7 you won't not the HP tools... the question is if you really need them. But it is STRONGLY recommended to re - install HP Coolsense since it regulates the temperature/fan.
