  Tuesday February 11 I turned my hp Compaq nx7300 off I saw that she was installing updates I thought that nothing of what I had set to automatic updates.   I tried to do a system restore but evertime I tried it there was an error, I tried all eight restore points but all back "an unspecified error occurred during system 0x800700b7 restore.

  Follow the info below to try a Startup Repair:

  As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

  If yours falls into the category above, download the ISO on the link provided and make a bootdisk of it.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

  Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

  My computer does not start on my hard drive after installation of my new printer MFP M127FW unless I have first of all disconnect the USB cable between the printer and then turn on the computer.  My BIOS is set to boot from my drive hard, not from a USB key, so that makes installing the drivers M127FW MFP and software do on my computer?  I guess it has something to do with the Smart Install feature.
