HP: HOW TO REPAIR HP LASERJET 1300N PRINTER

MY PRINTER HP LASERJET DISPLAYS NO SIGNAL LIGHT WHEN I TURN ON, AND THE ENGINE HAS NOT RUN CAN HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

If the printer has no lights and no engines run, first unplug the wall and check with another device to the output, you have plugged it works correctly. Another words plug a lamp or other electrical device to exit and make sure it is a good grip

Second, you should check that the power cable is good, although rarely, they spoil.

If you have a good grip and a good power cable, then you need a Board of engine for your machine.

I would consider buying a used printer off eBay before attempting to replace the card engine on this model, it might turn out to be cheaper and it will certainly be a lot easier.

  • How to repair IP address on printer

I had to replace the router on my home network and now my C6180 all-in-one printer not recognized / connects to the router.  I have an OS of Vista on the PC, a router Cisco Valet M10 and a HP C6180.  The PC are connected wirelessly to the network and work perfectly.  The printer is connected via an ethernet cable to the home cable box and home cable box is then connected via a cable to the router.  I've gone through many troubleshooting and think I've identified the problem of having to manually change the IP address of the printer itself.  I tried to enter that manually but 1) IP address ends with one or two digits, but I can't find how to remove the other numbers on the HP and 2) when I hit ok, manual entry disappears and is not recognized.  Can someone tell me how to repair the IP address of the printer?

I was able to solve this by:

    1. enter in the IP address of the printer in the web browser

    2. Enter "connect" and change the IP configuration manually to the new IP address of the router and press on apply

3 restart the PC and the printer

    Hello

As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their
drivers provided. Check with HP support, their documentation online and
drivers and ask in their forums.

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

    link HP

To work around the problem, you can try the following steps, however this may or may not help solve the problem.

    e. choose HP 3050's driver in the list and install it.
  • How can I set up my printer color Laserjet 1600 in "project mode" to save toner?

HP Color Laserjet 1600.  An article in the New York Times today business section suggests that I put my printer in "project mode" to save on the use of toner.  How can I do this?

The project is in an unexpected place: right click on the Color Laserjet 1600, printing preferences, and then click the finishing tab and put under print quality.

  • LaserJet P1505n printer: How can I change the host name to NPI1BDC68 to meaninful something more?

My network, a HP LaserJet P1505n printer, host name is set to NPI1BDC68. Is this cable or is there a way for me to change? Trying to solve: manuals were reviewed, Forum questions were searched, google General search conducted. I am running Win XP and a Mac Pro with OS X 10.6.8.

Well, which took me 10 minutes to solve.  I found the answer on a HP site based in France. (I kinda changed my google query and tried again.)  The site asks on first access, if you wish to continue in English, thankfully.  http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01175001

In short, use Internet Explorer or Safari, go to the IP address of your network printer.  For Win XP users, you can determine the IP address using, start/printers and faxes /(select printer)/properties/ports tab / select new/Configure button/second field printer port to down the IP address shown.

Once connected to the network printer subsystem, select the Networking tab.  The host name is the first field which can be changed. Enter a new name from 1 to 15 characters.  Tip: He doesn't like spaces. Underscores work well and the new name can be mixed case. Press the button apply at the bottom of the screen when done.  Warning appears that access to the printer may need to be changed if the IP address has been changed.  Acknowledge the warning. Printer goes offline for a few seconds. The page automatically refreshes and the new host name can be confirmed by inspection.

  • HP Laserjet 2420 printer range: 49.FF05 Service error

    Hello

I have a HP Laserjet 2420 printer and it happens with 49.FF05 Service error.

Now I can access some menu items through press and hold down the arrow key and do a reset of the cold etc, now with this work not she also throws the message "Printing work Inprogress". I tried that cancel in the printers menu, and the printer will not install on my PC even with the drivers installed so that I can't use the printer with my PC and try to solve the problem .

So the printer has a pending print job I don't know, also I tried exchanging the DIMM module in other slot and vice versa, but not luck.

Does anyone know how to fix this error without using a PC.

    Concerning

    Gammyray

It could be anything from a trainer blown just a print job corrupted.

Test: Disconnect the network cable and perform a cold reset.  If it's ready, it was probably just a bad impression.  Delete everything in the print queues and restart the PC. It should work OK.

But: If it still gives an error 49 with no cable and restart cold, you may have questions that can be more difficult than the unit's worth (depending on how well you expenses of local repair company).  You can always buy a trainer on eBay and try to install yourself.

Work around: go to printers remove the printer.  If you can find out which IP address has been using the printer, the printer manually program and to use another IP address.  Do not re-use that one.  Reinstall the printer.

Chances are that someone was trying to print a document based on the web.  Files PDF Online is the culprit #1.  #2 are weather bulletins.  #3's etc, etc, because whatever it is printed from an online source can trigger it.

Make an update of the firmware on the printer.  This will help 90% of these questions.  Then, inform those who need network print or web documents to save to their hard drive first, close the document online, open the saved document and print from there.

  • HP laserjet 2200dn printer range: Hp laserjet 2200dn driver and software

I just want to find a software and driver for laserjet 2200dn printer

    question:

the printer does not support windows 8.1, I want to know how it works?

My Windows 8.1 Professional 64-bit system has built-in support for the LaserJet 2200 model:

You may need to click the Windows Update button in the Add Printer dialog, then wait (possibly several minutes) while additional drivers are downloaded, until the list is filled again.

  • The laser color HP LaserJet CP1025nw printer cannot print - points held in the queue

I am running Windows 7 64 bit and my laser color HP LaserJet CP1025nw printer fails to print jobs in the queue. I turned off the printer accidentally as he was preparing to print a document, and since then I am unable to get the printer to work. I used the HP print and Scan doctor and he said that he had detected and solved a problem with the queue in vain the printer print a test page. What other options do I have? Thank you.

Rrolley, looks like you have a problem with the print queue of the printer. To start, just to tell you (that you probably think) it is not good to switch off while he's getting a print request. To resolve this problem, I recommend that you turn off the printer and the computer completely and cut the power for about thirty seconds. Then power the two machines back on, and when they started well then try the print job.

Let me know how it goes and I'll get right back with you!
  • Windows Update 8.1 - now my LaserJet P1005 printer will not work (AGAIN!)

I have a HP laserjet P1005 printer, whose yeaterday was work happliy in window 8. I downloaded 8.1 last night and the printer no longer works!

With the window of printer status open (through the control panal windows) the details of the document are displayed briefly when you click on the button print. Nothing happens at the end of the printer. Theres nothing wrong with the printer as I can use it on a laptop without problem.

Driver Hp downloads link it "seem" a driver for the 8.1 but I think it's only version 8.0 wrongly labeled.

I am sick to death with HP. It took them more than 1 year to untangle a driver for Windows 8, and it blocks as soon as Microsoft tweek their BONES.

Does anyone have any ideas how this can be solved? HP seem to be abandoned as a fundamental value customer - I have not buy one of their products again.

Hi again - finally got it works!

I downloaded the software from the link... again. Still no joy

Remove the printer from the computer devices. Then downloaded the link... again. The computer had the printer appears as a device.

    Then...

    I started again from scratch:

Reinstalled the 'original' driver from the boot disk. (the driver from the link above must have still been present).

    Printer on stream.

    Very happy.

  • HP Color Laserjet 4700n printer series

Hi, I am trying to install printing wireless on my HP Color Laserjet 4700n printer in my office with three different computers. However, I have trouble finding how to do this on every computer in the office. I would be grateful if someone could help me with this or even tell me if wireless printing is possible with this series. Thank you.

According to the data sheet for the Laserjet 4700n printer range, this printer has only these methods of connectivity. Unfortunately, wireless printing is not mentioned.

    LaserJet 4700n connection methods:

    • Improved the card slots of input/output (EIO) for connectivity option. (Network connection using an embedded HP Jetdirect print server is standard on HP Color LaserJet 4700n, HP Color LaserJet 4700dn, HP Color LaserJet 4700dtn and HP Color LaserJet 4700ph + printer.)
  • HP LASERJET 4050: HP LASERJET 4050 PRINT JOBS WILL NOT PRINT FROM TRAY 2

I have a HP Laserjet 4050 printer and it won't tank prnt 2.  It prints from the manual feed tray 1.  It does not recognize tray 2 printing, but it will let me know when the tiroir2 is missing.  No idea what this could be or how to fix it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Toni

If you print a configuration page using Tray 1, then you can look and see what paper size and type it thinks are in tray 2.

You will see probably is one of these elements is bad and most likely it is misdetecting the size of the paper due to a failure of the Board of Directors that detects the position of the fingers on the side of the status bar.

I think you have probably found a message on the screen that says load paper in Tray 1 whenever you try to print from tray 2, if this is the case it should also allow you to hit the go button and print using any type of paper or the size it considers is in tray 2.

  • HP LaserJet 1300n web manage password

I have a LaserJet 1300n that I manage the Web. However, a password was set on it and the previous system administrator never documented it. Is there a way I can clear the password by removing a jumper PIN or something like that? If so, where that PIN is located? I took the panels the printer off the power but can't see anything on the circuit that looks like a jumper PIN. Any help is appreciated.

You can't do it with just about any rider, but you can do a reboot cold on the printer and will hopefully all empty.

I do not have access to the manual right this moment, but I found the following online:

These smaller models have either have a
module network connected via a USB cable or
It is directly connected to the rear. In both cases
you will see a small black button on the device. If
It is connected with a USB cable, there is a
    plugged AC adapter. Unplug it
power adapter hold down the black button and
reconnect the power, press and hold the button for
10 seconds, the lights on the device
Flash and then stay on. Once they are on
You can press the black button quickly and you will have
    get a configuration page.
If the module is directly in the printer using the
same procedure but turn the printer off and then
turn it back on by holding the small black button located in.
