  2542 not printed computer - it goes into fax: (printer is set as default and prints from a scan)

  It should be 2 instances of "printer", a named "HP Deskjet 2542 all-in-One Printer", and another "HP Deskjet all-in - One Fax 2542". For printing, select the one with the printer in the name. Someone has probably changed the default fax.

  I have the HP Photosmart C7283 all-in-one printer scanner copier fax. It worked fine on my old Vista laptop and now I installed it on my Windows7 desktop. The only thing that does not work properly is the scanner. It only lets you scan files bmp, jpg & tif, but not one I mainly use namely pdf. If someone could help. Thank you very much.

  The PDF function should be available using the software of HP full feature.

  If you just plug in the printer and used the printer in OS driver is ecpected behaviour.

  For this scenario, you should unplug the printer, remove any installed device, then install the full feature software:

  1. Disconnect any USB cable connected to your printer.
  2. Enter the control panel > devices and printers.
  3. Right-click the printer icon, then select remove device.
  4. Restart your PC.
  5. Download and install the full feature software below:

  However, if you have installed the full features software and you use HP Solution Center to perform a scan, PDF file type should appear.

  If it does not appear, you have selected more likely not to install the OCR software that required for scanning to PDF:

  1. Start the Installation of the complete software functionality.
  2. Click Add additional software
  3. Select the Iris of the reading or the OCR Application and complete the installation.
  4. Restart your PC and PDF should appear in the dialog box, scan a Document.

• WIN8 pro, 4 users, all accts, will load only one user app windows

  Hi, have windows 8 pro on a system. Works very well in most ways. One issue that has developed is with 4 windows accounts (3-wire), I could only load an application in a single account

  It was Khan Acadamy that I was trying to load them onto the child user accounts

  The app would not come upward in the store in the account of the children.

  even checked my apps @ in-store, on account of children, but nothing would be there down load

  Other low games loaded and have the same problem, only of the concerts for a user

  I suggest to move the Khalaf account to administrator and then check to see if you can install the app from Khan Academy.

  If the above fails, try running the troubleshooter in Microsoft Accounts. It is an automated tool that can find and automatically fix some problems. It is available in English only, but will work in all languages.

  Hi, Ive got a slight problem with rendering and can not find the option to change it. When I press "enter" so that it will only make say a clip which is red, and then it goes into playback mode. How can I set the option so that the entire sequence renders only once?

  Ed,

  It is very likely that your WAB (work area bar) does not cover the entire timeline. With emphasis on the timeline, hit \ (backslash key) to develop the scenario. Find the WAB and double click on the little square in the middle to extend that. Now, restore the entire timeline.

  For playback after rendering, if you do not want that, uncheck the box under Edition > Preferences.

  You have certainly repeat turns. From the Manual:

  Play music

  Control playback. Tap a song to play and show the Miniplayer. Tap the Miniplayer to display the now playing screen, where you can do the following:

  • Press on to return at the beginning of the song.
  • Double click to play the previous song in an album or a playlist.

  

  Skip to any point in a song. Drag the playback slider. Decrease the speed of friction by sliding your finger to the bottom of the screen.

  Shuffle. Press on to play your songs in a random order.

  Since upgrading my Toshiba for Windows 10 laptop, now I can only scan in jPEG format and not in PDF format.  In addition, I am not given an opton to add pages.  It automatically scans a page only to JPEG

  When I enter an appointment in my calendar from device, and then try Outlook 2003 calendar SYC, it will not be synchronized (appointments appear in my Outlook calendar).  If I enter my Outlook calendar appointment it will synchronize the appointments on my device.  I have entered in the configuration of the Fund Manager and assign the two-way synchronization. Still no luck.

  I found the problem.  When you create a new appointment, there is an article that says "send help:" this is a list of all email addresses you receive from emails on your Blackberry.  In some ways, the email address was changed to another.  This has caused the problem of synchronization.  Once I changed it to one that was already there, the two way sync worked.

  I still don't know where you configure what email address it uses.  If someone knows let me know.  Or email to three addresses are emails that I synchronize in Outlook.

• Family safety will handle only one of the two computers, not both

  It is an interesting problem. I have 3 computers I want to fall under parental controls, all run Windows 7. (Computer A) works as it should with parental control. The other two are rocking. I have activate FS on B, it disables c. reactivate on C, it turns off computer b. C hard disk has been cloned to leave computer B, then C has "upgraded" to Windows 7 with a new valid license, so I suspect some ID that must be different between the two is the same. They have different computer names. I "fixed" FS on the two B & C nothing works. Any ideas?

  What version of OS are you running?

  What application program that you use to scan (capture image scanning HP, ECT.)?

  Make sure you have selected the entire document by holding down the mouse button and drag over the area you're wanting to analyze before hitting the scan button. Here are some documents that help with scanning.
