  Less than two months ago, I upgraded my HP Jet Windows 7 to 10. Over time some questions popped up (random apps that could not be opened, etc.) so I decided to do a full reset, deleting the files from the user. Once the 'install' process is complete he brought me to the initial configuration for Windows 10 screen, asking me my keyboard and language preference. He would not accept any contact entry. I rebooted it and he went to the advanced configuration where I could use the touch screen to do a complete reset. That has not changed anything. I found the info on the HP website and did a reset of the BIOS. That has not changed anything. I got an OTG cable, but was not able to get a keyboard work. I did, however, get a mouse works and has managed to create a new user and login. However, the touchscreen does not work in Windows. I was able to get into the settings and looked at the Device Manager settings. There was only a mouse driver listed under Human Interface. I also noticed a number of question marks in the subtopic of the processor drivers.

  I was able to use the OTG cable to try to re - install Windows 10 from a USB key. When a similar initial settings (language, keyboard) screen broke, I couldn't use the touchscreen. Later, I created a USB with Windows 8.1 thinking he might have a better chance. The same problem. He does not touch inputs.   I guess that you have improved your 7 to 10 of Windows Workflow, but now you want to reinstall Windows 8.1, correct?

  If you went to go back beyond the 30 day trial period, you can use the image USB, you must have created 8.1 Windows before installing Windows 10.

  IF you have not done this media, you will need to clean install Windows 8.1 with Bing.

  You can not install ordinary Windows 8.1 copy unless you buy a new key.

  Machines that accompanies Windows 8.1 no longer a sticker with a key to the subject because the key is embedded in the bios. Installing Windows 8.1 with Bing will activate when he sees the key in the bios.

  I went to reset the tablet to factory deleting all my files, etc. The Tablet has a 32 GB card in addition to the main unit.

  You can order a USB at HP recovery or do a new install of Windows 10 using the downloadable installation of Microsoft image, instructions are here.

  The software requires the Port COM 3 or COM 4, on a regular windows PC I can usually assign another COM port to whatevers on COM 4 and free it upward, the implementation of windows 7 Stream will allow this? I think I readsomewhere that bluetooth is on 4 COM on this computer.

  Also the implementation of Windows 8 allows to assign a legacy version of Windows for example. XP or Vista for an application?

  I understand that you are looking for information about the features of the operating system on the 7 Tablet flow.

  Flow 7 running Windows 8.1 and has all the same features of BONE as a desktop computer or laptop. Windows 8.1 allows an application to run in Compatibility Mode, which is what I think you are looking for.

  I suggest you to test the features you're after on another computer Windows 8.1, to confirm that they are running correctly, before committing to the purchase of 7 flow.

  I have a 64 GB card installed, because I had one not used.  Format to NTFS, exFAT, all are taken in charge and all 64 GB is recognized.

• [HP JET 7] Macrium key bootable usb omitting 7 flow HP Tablet boot

  7 HP flow is connected via an otg cable to a 4 port non powered usb hub.  The hub contains a keyboard, mouse, and usb key.

  The recovery media is through the Macrium Reflect (that is installed on the HP Jet 7 Tablet) on a usb key.  Media is created correctly because it has been tested in another machine and it starts successfully.

  I entered the start menu of the HP 7 flow by holding down the volume key and power when starting.  In the start menu, I changed the boot order so that usb sticks/multi-utilisations are the first options in the boot order.  Secure boot has also been disabled.

  Within Windows 8.1 with Bing, I used the following to restart the Tablet and tried to boot the usb key:

  charm of settings-> change advanced pc-> update and Recovery-> startup-> restore settings
  New screen with "choose an option.
  Choose "use a device.
  EFI USB device

  On reboot, I get the error message: failure of selected boot device

  I want to make sure that the boot with a usb key works as Macrium backup is useless unless I can actually start the system up to the restoration of the image.

  Any suggestions?

  The issue is not with the software that I use.  The problem is with the tablet itself.   What is so difficult to grasp here?  As usual, I understand the question myself.

  I love how everything is never the question with the hardware itself, but ALWAYS something else.  I have been more than sufficient depth with my explanation, but the same lame attempts at a solution are presented over and over again.

  What version of Microsoft office, you are referring to?  Office 365 by chance?

  Have you tried Microsofts Fix - it Tool? It is reported to remove office at the normal time of uninstallation fails.

  The back has recently jumped off my HP Jet 7, the cause being a battery that has swollen/bulged/developed to the point that the rear cannot be put back.  The case of the battery, now feels a bit stable, but common sense tells me not to prod it too!

  The device is now 4 months out of warranty, and a unit of £75, probably don't bother to pay for any kind of repair.

  A battery that has expanded also failed and is no longer usable.

  There are battery replacements now available on the web if you do a little research. They are relatively expensive, although I've never bought an and do not vouch for any online business. Order at your own discretion.

  • Google search found leads to put in place
  • implement Microsoft Account to record the hp jet 7 Tablet

  Managed to set up an account with outlook

  • set up the calendar that I can not connect to calendar

  Tried to access the calendar from gmail and yahoo account

  • Gmail popup password of my account request messages
  • Unable to access anything whatsoever
  • I tried everything that was suggested by gmail
  • Alerts Popup suggesting I use chrome security 2 step, but I don't use mobile not because I do not have a mobile phone
  • Alerts Popup suggesting that I use (for security), a different account, has taken the recommendation and created a second Gmail account
  • I got popups to inbound in the 'phone', not realizing an iphone or any other mobile device.

  I don't remember all the attempts I made to register and set my Tablet I bought on May 28, 2015,

  The end result is that I have a gmail.com on my tablet of flow 7 hp lack a correct password of gmail.  I don't even know if I have the password for the correct email for this gmail account on my laptop.

  I have this tablet of flow 7 hp product for a month and then some and I would use.  This was frustrating and confusing for me.  I missed all the trial offers that come with this tablet.

  I take an online course and have not been able to use materials of important reading on the tablet.  I can't begin to express the neccessaty stress and frustration, I sit down with that.

  This problem needs to be solved and I don't have the answers.   As for passwords, I suggest that you write the names/passwords etc. down or keep them in a file on your computer.  If you don't know the password to an account, go to the log in and enter the information you have, and there is usually a place to click to get your password sent to you.

  The stream is a neat little unit, trust, you can make it work for you!

• HP Jet 7 does not connect to internet

  Just bought a HP Jet 7 tablet. WiFi connects to the router, but shows limited, access unless I have disable Bluetooth. Once off, it says I have connection complete, but then failed to connect to the net via IE, store or anything like that. Had the tablet in hand for 4 hours and have not been able to get on the net with her yet. Have also reinstalled the drivers for the Realtek card, that made no difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  You should not really joking with pilots until we know all aspects of the material and tested packages of drivers. The drivers provided with it should work fine. It does not sound like having however a defective unit. You can try to connect to public wifi to see if it's just a strange mismatch with your router, but if she does all the wifi, then you don't have much choice but to replace.

  I understand that you have questions about the connection of headphones on your tablet.

  The connection of tablet 7 Stream is an entry for micro and output jack audio combo. While I have no literal documentation to provide or confirm this, I'd be inclined to believe that it is a SOCKET connection based on the fact that it asserts that it is a combo of I/O.
