  I have this manual that is for an AMD processor and not for Intel processor. If you look on page 36, it tells you to remove the 2 screws of the drive Bay optical (I already removed the optical drive). on my laptop, there is not 2 screws, on the contrary, there is another mechanism of locking that I do not know how to disengage.   I think that's wrong. You can probably run 2 x 1 GB memory in your model, but the Crucial scanner will let you know this info.

  Unfortunately, HP has not posted a manual for your specific model. The Star Wars thing is the series of 15 t-ab100 and the same physical case and the layout, just Intel AMD not. There is a forum for active discussion on the model of Star Wars and we know by experience of the user, it can be upgraded to 16 gigs and it also comes with a single module of 8 GB and an open slot.

  They must be placed at the bottom of the unit.
  If you n t know how to change this then I recommend consulted the user manual!
  The manual can be downloaded from the Toshiba European page.
  I think that the laptop can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM. So, you can use 1 GB of RAM in one slot.
