  Looking for a replacement for an original HDD SSD in a laptop HP G71-340US.

  I am told that the interface in this laptop is a 3.0 GB/S (SATA II).

  What I am curious to know is whether or not improving impact of performance will be probably quite noticeable to replace the original HDD (standard) w/a SSD.  Just try to spend my money.

You have stated that you have McAfee, which is a firewall protection and or viruses. Have you tried disabling McAfee? Have you tried another browser?
