    Hello suncoastsrq,

Usually, when we see problems during shutdown, the cause is something that loads at startup.

To this end, I would recommend mode startup minimum troubleshooting as seen in the following articles:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316434

Please note that after refine us the cause, it is important that we return to a normal startup and manually delete the startup program.

In addition, if we can get downloaded discharge, the community has access to them and will probably be able to determine the cause.

You can download the dump Auggy's previous suggestion?

  • Pavillion dv7 laptop win7 freezes when you unplug ac pwr, need to start, will not start on the MTD

I just bouht this laptop 2 months ago. It has been refurbished. Initially he had problems running and I have to hard start a few times to get it going.  I followed some instructions a previous forum solution sp44983 17/10/12, and it seemed to work.

I have problems with the gel to the top when I unplug the AC adapter. I followed some other instructions of the forum which was from may 2012.

Re: Anyone at - he discover blank (black) screen & freeze after cutting off the power supply, then reconnectOptions

In the Menu start, open the all programs, open accessories, right-click on command prompt and select "run as Administrator".  In at the prompt, type the following command and press ENTER. sfc/scannow (note there is a space between sfc and /) leave the entire process, then type exit and press ENTER.

Then, stop the laptop, unplug the AC adapter unplugged, remove the battery and then press and hold the power button for a minute.

Now plug the power adapter without the battery inserted, start Notepad, open windows control panel, open Device Manager, expand the entry for batteries, click right on and the Microsoft ACPI compatible with battery control method and select uninstall - do not uninstall anything else here.  When the uninstall is complete, shut down the PC, unplug the AC adapter, reinsert the battery and then start the PC on just the battery.  Windows will automatically reinstall the driver - leave Windows running for a few minutes. Shut down the PC again.  Now plug the power adapter (with the inserted battery always) and start the laptop to see if it helped the issue at all.

Download the graphics driver on the link below Installer and save it on your desktop. ftp://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp52001-52500/sp52242.exe once the download is complete, right-click on the Setup program and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When you are done, reboot the laptop.

After doing some research on this issue, that's what I could find. The problem is caused by the regulatory basis on the motherboard chips when they become defective. When these chips become defective, it fails to regulate the proper voltage required by the processor, causing the processor to this effect a malfunction when a card is inserted in the power socket.

Your best bet would be to take it to a computer repair shop that can repair it for you. If you are in warranty, I would contact HP to fix it for you.

  • Half the Office disappears when you unplug the external monitor

I have a MacBook (early 2011) with a single office shared between two monitors - with one hand on the internal screen and the other half on a Dell 23 inch. The Dell is my first when I use both at the same time. Until a few months ago, when I unplugged the external monitor, all windows automatically appears in the monitor to the laptop, including the menu bar and dock.

After an operating system upgraded a few dos systems (I'm on version of El Capitan.6), when I unplug the screen seems not to register - in other words, the left side of my office, including the menu bar and the dock, and all the apps that were there just to disappear. So my laptop seems to think that the other view is always connected and direct, unless I restart with the detached monitor. (I unchecked 'Displays have separated spaces') in Mission Control.

Is that what I can do to force the Office to redesign the internal screen? (Note that the display is a Dell S2330MX, which seem not to support any Mac OS - so who could answer the question here.) Thank you

I've known who issues from time to time, try to close and reopen the lid, which needs to redraw your office.

  • Windows XP SP3 system crashes when you unplug the USB device

the user has a laptop Dell Latitude D630 under Windows XP SP3.  In the last 2 weeks, the laptop started to hang when it unplug a USB device.  Click on the system tray icon to remove the device but the system gives breaks down.  That's all the info I have at this point.  What should I look for?  Does anyone have ideas on how to solve?  Thank you.

    How to crash the system?

What is a blue screen crash?

If so, it can help to look at the files minidump against accidents with a debugger.

Can you zip the minidump in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder files and (provide link) available via Windows Live SkyDrive or similar site?

The following link has information about the use of Windows Live SkyDrive:

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7itproui/thread/4fc10639-02dB-4665-993a-08d865088d65

If you have problems to compress the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the desktop

In addition, you do not necessarily have compress the minidump files, you can download one at a time.

  • Laptop freezes when I connect AC adapter / CC

Hello. I have a Dell Latitude E7440. The laptop starts with the office end while its connected to the power adapter. It starts very well in a stack on the desktop and works normally. But the problem occurs when I connect to the AC adapter when the laptop is turned on, it freezes, for example when sound on the desk and I connect to the AC adapter, it freezes and does not respond. The third time that I connect to the adapter, it does not freeze. What could be the problem? Any help is appreciated please.

  • (Portable) Windows stops when I unplug - but can run on battery

Hi, when I use my computer laptop plulgged in and unplug the camera to use it somewhere else, it often (but not always) stops.  When I reboot, the icon shows enough power in the battery, and I can use it disconnected for a long period of time.  He also stopped once when I moved it so it was plugged (and do not unplug).  But this has happened only once, and I move my computer (when it is plugged in) a little bit.

What can be wrong?  A guy at a computer shop said that I probably need a new battery or the ends of connecting the battery is worn out and does not connect.  In need of a new battery life seems unlikely given that I can use disconnected after that I restart it.  Your suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you!
