HP LaserJet 1102w Professional P cannot connect to protect the wireless network

Hello guys,.

I have a customer who has this printer works very well until 2 months ago but now I'm getting problems to get the WIfi connection

The script like:

-Dlink router without password, with active MAC filtering.

-MAC address of the printer (enter the Wifi list)

-Manuel IP defined in the configuration of the printer page

Now the printer only get connection to Wifi if I disable the MAC Dlink filter. If the filter as it is enabled, the printer remains offline (with blue led "blinking").

Any ideas?

You can connect without filtering, and then in the address mac filtering to add the mac address of a list generated automatically rather than manually typing it?  can activate filtering?  Is what model dlink router?  Also is there any other devices that are connected to the router by using the filtering?

    This may be possible

The point is that this laptop is an oldie and the wireless network adapter appears to be old too.
I ve no idea what WLan card you have, but you could try to connect to the WLan without use of encryption settings. Disable encryption on the router Wlan and test connectivity again. of course, this must be done only for testing purposes
The wireless network must be always secure

The alternative could be the use of external USB WLAN, it would be the easiest and fastest way for that to be resolved

    Hello

    ·          You have the updated drivers for the network card?

    ·          Have you been able to connect to the network after replacing the router?

If not, you can check the settings of the router and if your computer has the correct router configuration.

  • HP Deskjet 2540: My printer cannot connect to the wireless network (SSID is not found)

    Hello

I have a HP Deskjet 2540 printer that is configured to print using the USB cable, and I have no problem printing through it. I just bought a router (D-link DWR116) and I'm trying to set up the connection to the router wireless to my printer. When I use the printer setup & software and select the option "convert a connected USB printer wireless", I can choose to enter into the setting of the printer access the router automatically or manually. These two will come with the same problem where the program is my name SSID of the router successfully but then failed to connect to what the SSID is not found.

It comes on it comes up with the error message:

Question: You have manually entered the name of the network (SSID) cannot be found.
Solution: Check that your wireless router is powered. When to manually enter the name of your network (SSID), make sure you enter exactly including upper and lower case and spaces.
    ============================================================================================

Which is meaningless because it came with the SSID earlier and I chose what options the wireless network available. I tried to manually enter the SSID, but after entering the password for the router, the same error message appears.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

In fact, I solved the problem. Something about the wifi light on the printer. It can not be flashing, I don't know what the blue light flashes on the wofo of the printer, but I don't think that it means that the wifi is on.

Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.

Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Ad Hoc network. even if the network is active and is connected to the internet my devices cannot connect and then the network shuts down.

I'm living in a college dorm and only have access to the internet via a hard line to my computer. So I wanted to give my other accessibility of consumer electronics set up an Ad-Hoc network and share the internet connection. When I originally set up the network it works fine, but after the devices go to sleep or I leave the room it stops working. I had problems to keep the internet connection to share continually, which I fixed it. I then had a DHCP problem with the hard line that has been resolved through troubleshooting function. Now, even if the network is active and is connected to the internet my devices cannot connect and then the network shuts down.

Is there a way to create an Ad Hoc network that works similar to a wireless router, so when my computer is turned, it works automatically? If so, how can I make this happen without these problems?

    Hello

I suggest to activate temporarily the antivirus as well as windows firewall and check if it helps.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Disable the anti-virus software

    Enable or disable Windows Firewall
