HP Laserjet P1102W wireless connection problem
I have a P1102W which worked very well up to what it wasn't wireless. I use an AT & T Uverse 2Wire router and Windows Vista. I have not changed anything, and one day the network would not recognize the wireless printer. I've turned off (unplugged) everything and turned on the back without success. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the printer and have just received a message that the network could not connect to the printer. The printer works when it is connected with a cable, but the blue wireless light just blinks and then turns off - indicating that there are no wireless signal. All other devices and wireless printers on this network work very well. HP support was no help, because the warranty had expired 2 DAYS ago! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Follow the steps below.
1 uninstall the printer to the computer using Add/Remove programs in the control panel.
2. download the software and the driver for your operating system from the link below.

I currently have a macbook OS X Version 10.6.8 running. I initially installed the printer (P1102w laserjet) with a usb connection and now I need to change to the wireless. Setup online says to do the following:
System of preferences print and Fax to Open what to print , and then click printer setup
Then click on the utility tab, and then click Open Printer Utility
Then click on Config of HTML.
Here is where I encountered the problem. When I click on Config of HTML, instead of opening the utility, as shown in the video, it opens a browser with a bunch of html source code. I can't do something more that there is nothing to click, just a bunch of code.
Can anyone help?
I see that you are having problems running the HTML code to configure the wireless. I would like to help.
Make sure that Safari is set as default browser. (sometimes the SAP will not open if it is not set by default)
Open Safari, at the top, select the Safari menu, select Preferences, general, as a default value.
Delete and add the USB printer in the print and scan window and try to re-run the HTML code.
If you're still having problems, close all applications to access another way to run the HTML code.
In the Apple menu bar, click Go, computer, MAC hard drive, library, Printers, HP, LaserJet, click the folder for your printer, click HTML config, it should open the webserver integrated for the printer to set up the wireless, and then click the network tab, click on wireless on the left and fill out your information. (be sure to infrastructure is selected and alpha or numeric is selected) Apply the settings.
You should get a solid blue light on the printer in 1 minute about.
Remove the USB driver, then add the network printer:
Click on the Apple.
Click on System Preferences.
Click the printing and scanning.
Select the printer, and then click the sign - to remove the printer. (USB driver)
Unplug the USB cable.
Then click on the + sign and select the printer from the list and click Add. (Hello P1102w)
Test the printer.
If you need help, let me know.
Printer works fine when connected to my Mac laptop. When I try to connect wirelessly, it asks for a password. To my knowledge I've never set up a password. I tried several options for a password, but no result. Is there a way to find the PW or reset a new?
You're well probably see your neighbors wireless devices and attempts to connect to that. I guess this printer never worked wireless and you just have to have a USB connection?
My laserjet p1102w is no longer connected wireless to my network. It worked last week.
I see that you are having problems with the printer Laserjet P1102w being connected to your wireless network. I can help you with that. First of all, you need a Windows PC or a Mac to connect the printer to your wireless network. Please let me know if you can get such a device and the operating system on this computer. Once I know that I will be better able to help you.
Since the last 2-3 months, my wireless connection does not work correctly. This happened right after that I did the partitioning in the D drive (I don't think this is the main cause). What is happening is that, all of a sudden when internet does not bar shows signs of yellow warning and 'tells' LIMITED ACCESS wireless network. When I try to solve problems, it will give no problem. Then in Device Manager, I tried to uninstall and install again, the internet worked for a while, and still the same problem occurs. When I tried to call to the service center, they told me that I have to buy CDs to retrieve a value of rs500 because I did not these recovery disks. I'm in serious trouble please help...
I also tried to update latest driver frm net, even if the problem does not get resolved. I also tried to reset the TCPIP in cmd prompt, but it worked for 2-3 days and still the same problem happened...

Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that. Each device interacts differently with your router or modem and it is impossible to exclude the settings for this device until the laptop has been tested on another network.
Can use the installation disc delivered with the printer and choose to run it using a USB cable or must it be used as a network printer?
There is no Ethernet connection.

Hello, so I need help to set up my wireless printer (HP LaserJet P1102w) to my computer (Mac 10.9.2)
OK, here is your support page with everything you need to get running.
I just bought this printer 2 days ago and since then have worked so that it can connect to my wireless network. I didn't realize set up a printer would take over 12 hours and I am very frustrated. I am a 30 years old, the networking industry veteran and tried different ways to connect this printer for WiFi and all have resulted in the same thing. The printer connects, authenticates, and gets a DHCP address. I am able to ping the printer on the wireless for about 2 minutes and then it stops. The network printer report that everything is good, SSID, Auth method, etc. The indicator on the printer wireless shows connected with intense beep. Watch wireless access point the printer active in wireless connections until it pings stop and the device then goes to an idle state, indicating that the printer has stopped sending the Wireless 'KeepAlive '. At this point, I would say that I have a defective printer, but I've seen several posts on this forum with the same question and no documented fix. I find it very doubtful that HP has produced many defective printers. Is there a solution to my problem? Please advise...
Time to return the printer for refund or Exchange.
With a Router 2 previous son worked very well. I just changed my AT & T U-Verse was gvien a new router 2 son. I can connect to the internet without problem, but when I try to do a reinstall my printer P1102w wireless I get the following message "the printer has been able to connect to the network wireless using the wireless identification information. However, this computer is unable to communicate with the printer. Please check printer is on the same network as the computer and try again. »
I have only a single network and my hp desktop computer is connected wireless to the router.
I am on Windows 7 Professional and Norton Internet Security 2011 and everything is updated.
I contacted AT & T support, but as usual their help was worthless. Any advice would be appreciated because I spent many hours trying to over come this problem but nothing works.
Reboot the router by pulling its plug JUST before you start the installation process.
What type of encryption you are using (WEP, WPA, WPA2)?
I just bought a new HP LaserJet P1102w and cannot connect it via radio to my Mac at all. I am running Mac OS 10.8 with the latest software updates. I already downloaded and installed the latest software and firmware directly from the HP site. I can't seem to set up the printer to work on the wireless, although the site HP says that it is taken in charge by Mac OS 10.8.
When I go to system preferences > print & scan > Options and... office supplies > utility > Open Printer Utility > HTML Config... to try and connect to my WiFi (running on a brand new terminal, Airport Express), all I get is the following:
This page contains the following errors:
error on line 6 in column 48: entity 'nbsp' not defined
error on line 12 in column 8: beginning and ending tag mismatch: connect the line 0 and head
Here is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

How am I supposed to use this printer wireless? Your site says it is supported, but when I have all the updates of software and firmware on my printer and my computer, it does not work. I'm extremely disappointed in HP right now and I hope you can provide a viable solution.
Mac OS 10.7 has been out for more than a year-and-a-half and Mac OS 10.8 came out for almost 3 months now. It's ridiculous and disprespectful your customers do not have good drivers and firmware available to ensure that your prodcut works as you say it should.
I look forward to your solution.
So when you installed the driver that I've shared with you, have you tried configuring wireless via the configuration HTML again utility? Open the queue for the printer (USB), and then click settings. Select the utility, and then open the Laserjet utility. Then click on Config of HTML. The tool now comes so that you can enter the settings of your wireless network?
_ * My specifications: * _
* Model: * Toshiba Ultrabook (Satellite PSU6VA - 00S 002 U940)
* Operating system: * Windows 8.1 x 64 (upgrade of Windows 8 x 64)
* Wireless adapter: * Intel Centrino Wireless - N 2200
* Wireless adapter driver version: * 184.108.40.206 (which is the last for my device)
I got this Ultrabook since February 2013, and throughout this period, I always had problems with wireless connectivity, even after a factory reset. My wireless icon varies between three States:
* Internet access
* Limited (in which case I can't connect to the internet or any other device on the network)
* Not connected - connections are available (and if I try to connect to the network, it will fail)
Sometimes my computer would instantly reach the State of "Internet access" at startup and remain in this State. Other times, it would be 'limited' for several minutes after the start of my computer before it finally connected, and even in this case, the connection will drop out every now and then. In the worst case, it would indefinitely remain "Limited" or "not connected", regardless of how many times I reset my adapter wireless or rebooted my computer.
Until very recently, I always thought that these problems have occurred randomly. However, I noticed recently that I have always a connection perfect, whenever there is no other computers connected wirelessly to my router, and I always have problems more or less when there is at least another computer (or even a smart phone) connected wireless to the router. If there is another computer connected to the router via an Ethernet cable, this causes no problems. It's only wireless connections that interfere with my computer.
It is only this computer that has these problems; the other computers in my house ever experience these issues, no matter how many computers is online. In addition, my computer is not only these problems with my home router; It has the same problems on the network wireless at my University.
My question is, how do I fix? Is this a known bug or is my defective wireless adapter? I know that I can connect using an Ethernet cable if possible (I have never problems with Ethernet connections), but this is not always possible at the University.
Did you remove the old driver Win 8 Intel of the system before you upgrade to version 8.1 to win?
The old Wlan Intel driver could affect the performance of a Wi - Fi connection.
The driver update page Win 8.1 says clearly that Intel Wlan driver must be uninstalled and the
Inbox Windows 8.1 version must be used.
I just downloaded updates Microsoft last night and as soon as I restarted, my wireless connection was gone/missing/non-functional. I have read some other posts that made me think that the issue may be with the (Qualcomm Atheros AR956x) wireless network adapter driver, but the download or install the latest driver from Lenovo (wlan149w81) support site didn't do me good. I do not see again for a Wi - Fi connection in the center of network & sharing.
Someone at - he never saw something like this before / know what might be causing the problem?
Hi solid Cruver - thanks for the help. Looks like that the combo of what I did and what you recommended has done. Update the driver LAN first and second WLAN driver seems to have solved the problem. Thanks again.
I have a HP Laserjet P1102W printer which is out of warranty. Wireless features have failed. Wireless on the Panel light doesn't even come. It's as if the Wireless does not exist on this printer.
Has anyone previously encountered, and are there any recommended?
Is the wireless module something that can be replaced?
The printer works well otherwise but now only through a USB cable.
The only thing you can to is to buy a USB print server and convert the USB wireless.

Reason do not use Ethernet adapter was because in the taskbar bar, there was a "Network cable unplugged" warning (internet technician did not want or did not know how) to solve the problem. It's easier and faster just to put the adapter ASIX. My problem is after about 20 minutes. my connection speed is slower than the previous 56K modem. I have to constantly repair the IP address just to stay online when the settings are set to AUTO FIND the IP address, gateway server and DNS servers. If I set these manuely I am always constantly disconnected and it is a repair click without end for the IP address. I can't play POKER in Facebook or Ant other multiplayer game due to the fact that you can't return to your table in FACEBOOK before you are ejected to the lobby, because you've lost the Internet connection. I get disconnected every 2-3 minutes. It's on a regular basis. So sometimes (not often) I stay connected and stay in touch with extremely quick responses. I ran anti-virus, Malware, Spyware scans (no) (clean). I ran Windows tool of connectivity with different results. 1. don't you make changes to your machine before the problem?
2. you have any device near your router that may be in conflict with the signal?
If so, make sure that devices such as radio, microwaves, mobile phones are kept at Bay.
In the meantime, I wish that you follow the steps mentioned below.
Update your AX88772 6 USB2.0 to Fast Ethernet network card of manufacturer's site and see if it helps.
You can also test the problem in safe mode with network.
If the methods above are little help, you may need to contact your Internet Service Provider for the best help that can be also with slow Internet or abandon the connection.
Let us know the status of the issue.
My laptop says it's connected wireless, with the signal strength excellent, however when I click on search via IE or Chrome, it indicates that it is not connected to the internet. On the network and sharing Center, this also indicates that it is not connected and said that the network is unidentified but then it shows an intense tone.
When I connect the cable to the router, I can search on the internet.
My mobile phone and computer laptop boyfreind both work on the wireless connection.
My laptop not connected wireless to the House of my parents either, but he has previously worked at my old apartment.
I tried the advice provided on the Web site of the reset in the cmd window.
All ideas that could recommend would be appreciated.
Has your PC what model wireless network adapter?
If she has an Atheros wireless card, see if installing this driver solves this problem.
