  With Diagnostics enabled disabled cartridge, the test pages are not able to print.  In the process of troubleshooting, I have about 30 pages printed and got 1 out the top normally.  The 1 that came out before was a stroke of luck.  The error is jam in the TOP COVER, there are 2 pages stuck, the first one was just before the block of detecting color registration.

  Printer and all of its features worked well, but I had to replace my hard drive. I ran the installer for HP printer. print now, but will not scan. When I try to scan (icon through the HP Solution) it seems to start working, but then keeps on appearing to work without actually doing it. The small Tower, the symbol of rotation turns and turns but never does anything else.

  As I said, it worked fine before I changed the hard drive but is not now. Any ideas?

It seems strange to me that you can download the software, but then can not install, the installation requires no software. However, the Easy Start probably reaches out using internet to locate appreciate software to install. That being said, I feel the question could be linked so browser that I wonder what browser you use and if you could try another.
