  Have you tried to change the display language, from the link above?  Alternatively, you can try to perform a system restore, if it happened recently.  Did you do a full scan with your antivirus software and ran all the malware removal?

  I use Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 as a file server.  I create new user 'A' in Windows Server 2003 as well with the option "user must change password at the next logon" selected and give way under the group users and users in the domain for this user.  I then share an output folder.  User 'A' is using Windows XP SP3 to connect to this shared folder.  However, when I try to connect, Windows reappear to enter user name and password.  I think it is the limitation in Windows that the user 'A' will be unable to change the password at the next logon or change password at any point in time at all.  Correct me if I heard wrong.

  If possible, can someone enlighten me what is wrong or what I need to do for user to access folder and change the password on the first logon.

  If what I described is not possible, is there another way for me to configure for the user to access share folder so that the user doesn't have to join domain or user of the AD?

  The problem:

  I create a new user and let the "user must change password at the next logon' checked. When I try to log in with the newly created user I get an error saying "User must change password at the next logon" after ptoviding the new password.

  At this point if I uncheck the "user must change password at the next logon', then the user can connect properly.

  Can someone help me. Please let me know any problem OS compatibility between the server and the OS cleint.

  After upgrading to El Capitan 10.11.5 I could no longer connect to my MacBook Air using the password. However, after a hard reboot, I could, but the computer will not accept my password, for example, the installation of an application. It would work only to restart the computer. Finally, I noticed that the keyboard language changed to English, which is probably why some characters my password was not entered correctly. Has anyone else had the same problem?

  To make sure that various keyboards are available for the connection, you can go to the prefs system/users and groups/connection options and tick the box to display the menu before when connecting.

  Hi, I've had this problem for awhile now, but it has become another problem that now I need to try to fix this now.

  When I make changes to the admin, or receive no pop ups requiring admission, refuse the access/sort of thing, the language is this strange characters?

  

  If someone knows a solution for this problem, I would be very happy.

  PS I don't want to upgrade to El Capitan due to many negative reviews and I use this machine to work so don't want to take the risk of problems with the new OS.

  It is not a language, just a default replacement font.

  Try Applications > Fontbook > file > restore Standard fonts

  and restart
