HP LaserJet Pro M225dw MFP: Print problems duplex on HP LaserJet MFP M225dw Pro
Hello, I have a problem with duplex printing. He started only today and no hardware or software has been changed, but now it prints the second side of any printed document asymmetrical. The chisel is always to the same degree. Heres an examlpe of the duplex-printed and scanned document. http://imgur.com/a/uGz23 Hope that you can help me and will excuse me for my English, since this is not my mother tongue.
Nevermind, the problem was in the cover on the rear side of the printer, paper jams. It has not been closed tight enough, and that caused effect mentioned.

I need to know more information about what is happening here to start. It seems that you are experiencing printing problems, but I can't get a lot of information that you presented. All the information show me is that the file could not be accepted by the print job. I'm going to need to know what it is that you print file type and size, the program you are printing the form, if you are still able to print other documents from other programs, how long it lasts and any other relevant information.
Departure, we will perform the two resets in this video:
http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=31TbWMrTaFk
Then, if you use a USB cable, make sure to remove (this is important). Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer. -
HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus - Duplex printing problem
I use a printer Officejet Pro 8600 Plus (what is the best printer I've ever had, apart from this problem!). I use it with Windows 8.1.
He struggles for more than a few pages print using duplex. The problem seems to get worse when I print a pdf file. It starts to print very well and made a few pages, but then I get this message "error on HP Officejet Pro 8600. "Could not print * name * folder. It appears on the computer not the printer.
Any suggestions?
Thank you
Hey there @operationorphan
I just wanted to add my own suggestions here for the issue of two-sided printing that you had with your Officejet 8600.
You can try to update the firmware: get the latest Firmware and updates
If this does not help, try to uninstall the printer software , reboot the PC and reinstall the printer. This should dissipate all software problems.
I hope that helps!
If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions: click here.

OfficeJet Pro 8000 duplex printing problem
I use this printer with my MacBook Air. I have the duplex unit installed correctly in the printer. The 'two-sided printing accessory (duplexer) HP is checked in the system preferences - Print & Scan - pilot. That being said, I don't see an option for double-sided printing. I go to the file menu and click on print. I select Copies and Pages in the menu dropdown. I think I should then see an option for double-sided printing. The only options available are:
-Layout
-Color matching
-Paper handling
-Cover page
-Paper Type/quality
-Advance printing options
-Feeding levels
I did something wrong in the Setup program, or is the procedure I use wrong? How can I get the operation of duplex function?
This is the only printer that I have, so there is no confusion here.
Thank you
Have you tried the layout in the menu drop down menu?

HP Color Laserjet CP2025 print: color printing problem
Had the printer listed above for several years and love it. Have just started having problems with the printer does not print not not in color. Have a recorded document that needs to be printed every month and have had no problems with it, until yesterday when it is printed in black only. Another document word also printed in black only. Officejet Pro 8620 printing problem
I am trying to print a document of 26 pages, double sided on my new printer officejet pro 8620. It prints a page aside 26-20 double ok and part prints then stops of 19 page. My windows o/s 8.1. Anyone has a solution. Thank you
Hi Roger41,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that you try to print a document duplex of the 26 page with your HP Officejet pro 8620, and he stops on page 19. I'm happy to help you with this printing problem!
To get help, I'll need to know:
- If the printer is connected, USB, Ethernet, or wireless.
- If the power cable is connected to a surge protector, or directly to a wall outlet. Questions when it is connected to an uninterruptible power supply/Strip/surge protector power. This is true for printers and ink jet.
In the meantime, please try the HP print and Scan Doctorand let me know what happens!
I hope to hear from you and have a nice day!

Mac Book Pro and HP Envy 110F wireless printing problems
I got my Mac book Pro for Christmas 2013 and initially had no problem printing wireless to my HP Envy 110F, but for some reason, I keep getting problems with printing to the envy of 110. We don't have printing problems with our Ipad for this printer.
I can connect the printer to my Mac book Pro by putting 192.168.1.72 IP address in a web browser, but I get on the symbol bit offline when I print the urge. Last night I reinstalled the printer to print wireless on my mac pro book using a printer cable, which then worked well, but today the same problem reappeared.
I'm starting to think that the problem may have started with the latest version of the update of the operating system to the Mavericks 10.9.4.
All thoughts welcome.
Hi @UKCheshire
Since you are able to print from the iPad to the wireless printer, I suspect you have to something. I think that the question has something to do with the communication between the printer and the computer and not between the printer and the router. Please use the following document to solve the problem; "Printer is off-line" Message appears on the computer and the printer does not print: Mac OS X.
If the problem persists, do not give up hope, let me know and we will work through it together.

HP Officejet Pro 8630: HP Officejet Pro 8630 printing problem
Hello
I have a printer HP OfficeJet Pro 8630 with two different computers connected on it. I have no problem printing from the computer that I use every day, but when I try to print from the other office, nothing happens. The second recognizes the printer and says it is connected, but it does not recognize the printer. In the meantime, I can turn around and print something on the computer to work immediately after I try to print on the other. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be very happy! Thank you.
Hi @AdminGuy,
Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support for a solution to your printing problem.
I understand that you have a HP Officejet Pro 8630 e-all-in-one printer is connected to two computers via a wireless network, the main one has no problem printing, but the printer is not responding to print jobs sent from the second PC. I would like to help with that.
Is the PC that does not work with the printer to Apple or Windows computer, and what operating system is running?
If it's a Windows PC, try to download and run the HP print and Scan Doctor. This tool can diagnose and solve many problems of printing software and printer.

HP Laserjet P2035n is set up to print in duplex, but I can't change it in preferences
Last week, I download and print a PDF file. Since then, my HP Laserjet 2035n is configured to print in duplex. Here are the details.
- I use a laptop HP Pavilion with Windows 7 Home.
- The printer is configured as a network printer.
- When I try to print something, it stops after a page waiting for me to re - feed paper manually to print on the other side.
- It is only this laptop that has messed up. My other computer prints well
When I go to the printers, right-click on the 2035n and select "Printer properties" and look at the bottom of the general tab, it reads in the appearance tab "Double-sided: Yes.
If I then click on "Preferences... "and go to the finishing tab, under Document Options, the box"print on both sides (manually)"is unchecked.
Here is what I tried:
- I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer
- I reinstalled printer drivers
- I tried to reinstall with a different name
Any suggestions? Can someone tell me where the printer preferences file is so I can manually remove and then reinstall the printer drivers? Is there a tool for the P2035N to uninstall everything related to it?
Thank you.
Hello
Please try the following settings:
Right-click on the printer icon, then click on printer properties.
Click the device settings tab.
All the way down, uncheck the option enable manual duplex printing .
Now try printing and search of any change.
Please let me know of any changes,
Shlomi

Printing problems with my HP LaserJet 3200
I'm having a problem with my HP LaserJet 3200. Or maybe with my laptop? Sometimes when I try to print, it shows an error in the printer status area and no ready button flashing on the printer. If I cancel the print job, disconnect the USB printer for 5 to 10 seconds, plug it in again, and then click Print - it works. I can print, copy and scan, so I'm hesitant delete the printer and add it again. I use Windows 7 64-bit. I have the above work around, and this may seem trivial it will work eventually, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas to solve the problem. Thanks for your help.

Printing problem in XP with compatible printer share
Hi, I searched for a few hours for more information on my problem, but while I can find a lot of Fusion printing problems, none is quite like mine I think.
OS = Leopard / printer is HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809 USB / VM = Windows XP SP3 / Machines virtual _ settings _ printers = enabled and corresponds to the default printer
I have not installed the printer drivers / software that came with the printer on the virtual machine.
The printer appears in printers and faxes XP. In the comment in the printer properties box, it says 'Printer created by TPAutoConnect', the location is indicated by "0;".
When I click on Print Test Page XP shows me a test page is printing. Back to OS X, the print queue of the printer indicates the following...
Status = printing
Name = Test Page
User = username
When = earlier
At the top of the window, a little less 'print 'Page of Test'." I get "printer busy (Status: 0x00002e9).
And that's what I get. No printing. To avoid confusion, the printer worked very well for OS X.
All suggestions welcome. Should I, for example, to install the drivers under XP?... my interpretation of the description of the features of merger 2.05 in this regard is that I did not.
Thanks in advance.
Setting a DAY = Just closed my VM and merger altogether, and then my printer suspended for life and printed the Test Page in Windows XP printer! Ideally, of course, I don't want to have to close to get my impression made
If the impression of Fusion is not working properly for you, then you can disable this feature and then share the printer in OS X and installing the printer in Windows in the usual manner with pointing to a shared printer.
==========
1. turn off the checkbox activated under printers in the target Virtual Machine settings.
2. turn on printer sharing in OS X and allow the target printer to share.
3. in Windows, add a new printer and add it as a network printer by using the following URL Convention.
http://Computer_Name:631/printers/Queue_Name_of_target_Printer
If you use linked by a bridge, you can also use:
http://Host_IP_Address:631/printers/Queue_Name_of_target_Printer
Or if you use NAT, you must use:
http://Host_vmnet8_IP_Address:631/printers/Queue_Name_of_target_Printer
Examples:
The shared network printer is a HP LaserJet 4050N printer on my MacBook Pro, and the following information is relevant to this.
ComputerName = MacBookPro
Host_vmnet8_IP_Address = 192.168.51.1
Queue_Name_of_target_Printer = HP_LaserJet_4050
So, either of the following examples work in my Windows XP Virtual Machine.
http://MacBookPro:631/printers/HP_LaserJet_4050 http://192.168.51.1:631/printers/HP_LaserJet_4050

C6180A: Network printing problem series C6100
Hello
I pray that someone here can help with my network C6180A impression of questions, as I am at a loss to know what to do. I'm technical enough for a layman (not irritable) so able to fix my printer problems, I had to do several times in recent months. However, I am now in a complete deadlock as to what to do next.
Implemented - laptop HP Pavilion (less than 1 year running Windows 8.1 64bits) connected by wired home network using Netgear HomePlugs, on which my C6180A All in One Photosmart printer is also connected by a Homeplug Netgear network around my house for others to use. The network software Netgear genius picks up the printer and it shows on the fine network. I can also access the IP address of the printer through my thin Firefox browser.
Printer C6180A is (I think) about 8 years ago and has been well used with over 44 K printed pages! It worked well overall until recently. Minor problems have been solved in the past, which I was able to do very well.
Until recently, the printer worked very well, so a few weeks ago (nothing has changed on it, or my laptop), it just started to stop printing and also started to enter spurious characters (always number 7) on the LED panel without doing me anything, as if someone was going to put in a fax number. It would show a string of 7 like this: '7777777777777777777' as a fax number alone. Yet I did not or use the fax on it more. It's where I wondered about capacitors, as I mention below...
However...
It will not print many pages at once of all today - even if I get it print OK. It does not go offline (it used to do this), just print job gets stuck in the queue and must be deleted using HP Print & Scan doctor. Nothing else removes the queue now. And no other problems are reported with this utility. If they are, then I have Setup or the utility corrects.
I did the following to get it fixed so far (with little success ongong):
-updated and install printer via the HP website drivers (most recent is dated December 6, 2015)
-uninstalled and reinstalled the driver software several times = sometimes a test page impressions, not always
-restart the laptop and printer each time I do this to clear no matter what cache
-Remove and add the device in Control Panel = got a few pages printed today this and nothing else then prints
-check the IP address of the printer to make sure that his recognized on the network = all fine here (IP address added manually in the settings of the network on the printer a few months ago), although I can't make it here anymore as the "ok button" on the printer does not work now (minor in question not related to this in my opinion)
-did a hard reset of the printer using the # and 6 to do this = it worked for a few pages then orders
-printer is always / recognized by any software, driver or utility HP PSD when turned on to be detected to install
-printer works fine when connected directly via a USB cable, but which is not what I want to do on a daily basis
-have contacted Netgear in the recent past to make sure that my HomePlugs on my network worked very well, they were. If not, then the printer would not be detected by any software installation or fixing with HP PSD
My last resort will be to check if the capacitors are down, I saw in other forums that this is a common problem after a while on these printers. Before making this "repair" I bought the capacitors, I wanted to check if there is anything else I missed that I can do to finally once and for all this problem of printing.
Help on this would be so MUCH appreciated by any expert here, because I lost so much time, days in fact, try to resolve this issue as you can only imagine. I have to be able to print for my business. It is not an option to replace the printer currently.
It worked fine until the last 3-4 weeks or more... Where my question detailed with what I did to fix it until now.
Thanks in advance. ANIA
Hello @AZS1,
Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you have a problem with your C6180A. I would like to help.
To be honest, you did some troubleshooting. To say that you are quite technical for a layman seems to be an understatement.
I provided you with a link to solve network problems. If the problem persists then you might as well go ahead with the repair. The only other option would be to have fix the printer.
Please let me know how it works. I'm pulling for you.

Hello @firaskhalil,
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!
I want to help you solve your printing problem you feel when trying to print from your Windows XP computer to your network connected HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer. I understand that you are able to print correctly on your Windows 7 computer network. I see that you can run the HP printing and the doctor without any problem analysis tool and print a test page with success over there from the Windows XP computer. You are also able to scan without any problem. With all that being said, I think that what you experience on the Windows XP computer is a driver conflict. I think that your software and network connection are quite well. That being said I will guide you through the addition of an alternative HP Officejet generic print driver. You won't lose any functionality while using this replacement driver.
Step 1: Clear the temporary files:
- Click on the Start menu
- Check the box run
- In the Temp folder, type folder , and then select OK
- When the Temp folder opens, click the first item in the list, and your shift key on your keyboard and scroll down a few lines and click another item in the temp folder. Everything between the two points that you click on will highlight now. Select the "delete" button on your keyboard.
- Continue these steps until all items in the Temp folder have been deleted. The Temp folder contains the temporary internet files. None of the actual files or folders on your computer are affected by your by deleting temporary files. A file should always be used in the Temp folder, you will get the pop up 'try again ' or 'Cancel' the point. Simply close the pop-up screen, ignore this file and proceed to remove the remaining files.
- Once the Temp files are deleted, close the folder
- Right click of your recycling bin on your desktop and select empty recycling bin
Step 2: Download driver replacing:
- Please click here to download the appropriate driver
- When the site opens, select the download button at the top left
- Allow the download to run
- An extraction should take place once the download is complete
- If the installation window opens automatically, please close the window.
Step 3: Adding a driver replacing:
- Click on the Start menu, then select box to run it
- Type %temp% , and then select OK
- When the Temp folder opens, find the file 7z
- Click the 7z folder to open it
- At the top of the window, you will see the path of the file bar. It may look like: Local C - users-AppData-Local - Temp-7z... drive Left click once on the right side of the bar. Everything in this bar will highlight now. Right-click on the highlighted file path and copy it.
- Close the Temp folder
- Click on the Start menu
- Choose Printers and faxes (you may need to go to the control panel for this)
- In the Printers folder, right-click on your HP Officejet Pro 8610 and left click on Properties
- Left click on the Advanced tab
- Left-click on new driver
- When the new driver window just press 'Next' until you see a list of manufacturers on the left and a list of Printers on the right
- Click on disk at the bottom right
- In the window "install from disk", there will be a path bar. Right-click in this bar and Paste in the path to the file we copied previously.
- Click OK
- Choose the HP Officejet 8600 and click Next to complete the wizard of pilot.
- The title of the Properties window, select 'apply' but do not hit OK
- Select the general tab
- Rename your printer in HP Officejet Pro 8610
- Click OK
Now that the new driver is added please try printing again.
Please reply to this message with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hear from you!
