  Have a spectrum XT running Windows 7. All software/updates are up to date. It's one year and 2 weeks (just went out of warranty). Suddenly started blue get screens and PC will turn off.   This error is indicative of a failing hard drive. It is not something that is fixable.

  Solve that error requires a physical replacement of the hard disk with a new and reinstallation of the operating system.
