HP Mini 110-3610se recovery Partition problem

Dear HP technical team

Hello. I have a mini laptop ' hp mini 110-3610se "and when I try to create a new partition in the c drive, I get an error and I can not do so get help from software"paragon partition manager"and I change my recovery to the logic partition and then do some activity by this soft ware and after restart my computer windows cannot start and I can not too F11 recovery and now I don't have windows and I don't have any recovery tools and system cannot work by recovery option.

I know that my windows partition not damaged because I change it and I work on the recovery partition but my widows will not start.

now, I can not access the hp suppurt group, please help and tell me what I can do?

Make a Paragon partition manager boot disk, boot from it and undo the changes to the partition.

or try this

Use F8 to the beginning of the power up when you see the HP splash screen, that you get the advanced screen, select 'repair your computer' and press ENTER, once that loads of Windows recovery environment, select 'repair your computer' once again, if you get a dialog box on it to find problems and you want to repair say no.

Once you get to the screen tools select Startup Repair, see if he can repair windows startup, restart when it is done, see if it will load windows now.

  • HP Mini 110-3730NR, recovery partition deleted

    November 10, 2011

I bought a HP Mini 110-3730NR laptop a few months back and I started to tinker a bit with it. I downloaded this software called CCleaner and I didn't know what disk wipe was (Yes, stupid me) well anyway, I accidentally erased my recovery partitions and all other files in the drive with it. It's a Windows 7 laptop with no. place to imput a CD. Is it possible to reverse what I've done without having to pay the $ 40.00 dollars more to get a backup thumbdrive? And could I may return it to the store because my warrany expires in September 2012? Please, it is perhaps one of the worst days of my life in more ways than one. Please, have some good news for me.

    Sincerely,
    Trisatan

    Hi, Trisatan:

I'm sorry to say you are out of luck, and there is nothing you can do.

If the store will resume, lucky you.

If not, you can buy a set of recovery disks (if HP even them - I don't see that they do) and a DVD USB external drive to install with.

Otherwise, you will need to purchase a full OEM or retail version of Windows 7.

  • recovery partition problem

I found my Systm recovery discs original, and system repair disk but they don't work. The system recovery disk using Dell Datasafe. the option chosen is to run it from my hard drive and the computer restarts when you restart the recovery partition, now I be problem with the Boot Manager: "status: 0xc000000f startup selection failed because a device required in the inaccessible" I have no problem starting the C drive.

so I thought I should run a repair on the MBR on the recovery partition, but then I found that the recovery partition is not assigned letter.  This means that I can't transfer the missing files or anything.  so the main question at the moment is how to name the recovery partition. and all other thoughts of system recovery by giving this error.  should I uninstall datasafe and install DBAR? If Yes, do I need to start on an earlier version of DBAR and upgrade? or can I go straight to the latest version?

    ladempke,

Click on the link below for more information to solve this issue. Manually reinstall Windows will not install the factory recovery partition.

  • HP Mini 110-3600 sd screen problem

    Hi all

I have a problem with the screen of my HP Mini 110-3600 sd (product code LD078EA #ABH). Yesterday morning all of a sudden it became too small for the content, which means that the bottom was not visible (for example windows, I use windows 7 starter edition). To be clear, that the full screen doesn't work, if I maximize the view, it's actually too short. The night before, it was working fine and I did not install anything until I turned it off.

I tried to install the new drivers and using the different resolution but nothing seems to work. What I find strange is that when I look at op the specs of this laptop it says it works at 1024 x 600, but the pc is recommended to run in 1024 x 768 60 Hz. (The screen has never been replaced) The laptop seems to be confused about her size and position, if I chose a resolution '1024 x 600' and 'centre screen' it looks like the screen space, but he put a black in the top column, so that in the end, she always falls short. And, although I'm not sure about this, I thought the laptop used to support a higher resolution, before this problem (1360 x 768 perhaps?).

Below, I've included a story on the monitor (or pilot), if more info is needed I would bring him a pleasure (but I'm not experienced enough to know what you guys should be now).

  • Creation of the disk recovery Partition recovery disks or HARD.

I hope that I get good advice from experts today.

Is it possible to create a custom (mine) HARD drive recovery partition?

Is it possible to create discs of recovery with all the updates and the installed program?

Is it possible to update the recovery partition? (with whatever software and installed updates)

For example, I have a laptop pre-installed with Win XP SP2 and I have upgraded to Win XP SP3 and for some reason any if I restore my laptop with the recovery discs or HDD recovery partition, the laptop will be restored to the factory loaded condition (this is XP SP2). Once again, I have to install all programs and install all updates (XP SP3). If we can create a custom recovery disks or custom recovery partition then we can very quickly restore the laptop easily to the last condition (condition at the time of the creation of the partition to restore or restore disks). It would be better if we can create the recovery partition as nothing else is needed other than the laptop for the recovery.

Another option to achieve this is with Norton Ghost (or similar tool) but the problem is that we must always continue the Norton Ghost boot disk to start and recover the image. The compatibility problem with a model in particular must be checked. I installed Norton Ghost 9 on a laptop and the laptop turns off not with the shutdown command, and I have to turn off with the power button / stop. This problem was not to withdraw 9 of Norton Ghost. If we can create our own custom recovery partition, save us a lot of resources--time, money, broadband bandwidth and no tension of the installation of all new programs.

Experts should Tips how to create the custom recovery partition and if this function is not available now experts should examine the possibility of updating the required HARD drive recovery partition.

    PRK,

I assume you mean Windows 7 after having upgraded (since this is the forum for Windows 7).  Windows 7 has a disk Image feature that can do what you are looking for.  More information is here:

  • HP mini 110 cannot use recovery discs - BIOS insists the hard drive test failed. Drive works on another computer.

My niece has a HP mini 110 that does not have a day. Do a check of the hard drive in the bios, it failed (7 on playback). I though I should get a new one so I ordered another. While waiting for that to happen, I had access to a usb SATA bridge and the opperating system was beyond repair and the unreadable disk from HP mini, I decided to try to repair the disk. So I reformatted the old disk using my desktop computer. Windows had no problem with the drive and it seems to work very well.

I also had to order the recovery disks (intro to windows 7).

In any case try to reinstall using the recovery via the DVD USB drive disks. It kept coming back with error 17 - I found a hard drive error. I also tried to install with a Windows XP installation disc and it was more explicit hard drive it said it had NOT installed it - or "it does not match the sheet material for unity" (or words to that effect)

To get the new hard drive - the same problem. Even if both of these drives operate as USB connected to my main desktop drives. SO my conclusion is that the BIOS start inspect the hard drive, check the configuration of the formatting. that is the size and the partitions etc. and when they do not correspond to the idea of BIOS of good care he rejects the hard drive and finds it is not installed.  Or maybe to do some files on the hard drive of base. Whatever it is, the bios concludes that there is no hard drive and will always return a "failed" to the hard drive of the bios test.

Any ideas on that? I need to know exactly which partitions are expected by the bios. Does anyone have these specs, or maybe you have a mini HP and can examine your hard disk and tell me the amounts of partition and the size?

Unless I can get the bios to recognize the hard drive, I don't see how I can reinstall the operating system on it. Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    HI David

Well, I hope this is my last post here. I had already printed a return address for the recovery disks, being returned to the Netherlands. Just for the beggar of cast iron, however, I decided to try just once more would like to think that now that there is a kind of operating system on the hard drive it might work. But unfortunately still; no joy.

All this time I would be considered may not be something wrong with the external hard drive because it was no problem to start the installation of XP. So I was just wondering maybe it does not receive enough power (it is a slimline portable DVD player that gets its power from a second usb) so I made a DVD player external adhock using an IDE hard drive enclosure (which has its own power supply and an old internal DVD burner I had put aside.

To my surprise and joy; the HP mini started the recovery process. I am now watching reformat the windows partition and copy the files needed to restore the hard disk.

So anyone with a similar problem to the HP mini not recognize the recovery disks is my advice; try an another external DVD drive, preferably one with its own supply of.

Thanks for all your help and patience David.

  • HP Mini 110 3103sl - factory (including partitions)

Good day everyone. I use a HP Mini 110-3103sl for a certain period of time, so I decided to give it to someone who wants to sell it in my name.

Before that, I wanted to restore it to its factory condition, so I pressed ESC at startup and consulted Recovery Manager. I don't remember the exact words, but I remember there were 3 options. None of them mentioned the word "factory" on this subject, so I chose the one that sounded more 'low level': the system recovery. It took a few hours I think. So I thought that I was done.

It was yesterday. Today morning I gave her to the person responsible for selling it.

Later I have to this topic and HP checked by support Web site to know that should have been 4 option instead of three. One of them should have been Factory Reset but I am absolutely sure that this option was not there yesterday. In addition, the support page says that System Recovery has just formats the partition to the OS without deleting other data in other partitions.

Problem is that I had a score of personal data. I took it for granted that the system recovery would bring the PC to factory conditions, but now I'm not sure.

From what I can remember the options were: restoration of the Microsoft, system recovery and Image recovery system reduces to a minimum. No factory reset (Please note that I am Italian, so was the language of options). I turned off when I was asked to choose a user name, so that the buyer could choose a.

So... did the process remove my data partition personal or not? This computer will be in the hands of someone else, someone I don't know, so I need to know if I should try to get it back to format this partition.

If you have win 7 on your PC, and you have selected "System Recovery" on the three options you have listed then it is done and you are safe...

However if it was to Win XP and in as long as you mentioned was not partition recovery image, then you have to worry about it like a netbooks lighter with win WHAT XP had no possibility to restore to the factory like that...

Also as you have been told you were asked to provide a user name... so most likely it is formatted...

but once again... using the formats Recovery Manager only the C drive... so if you have created another partition, then it will be intact... ..

recovery partition will not delete the partitions... only using recovery disks can do...

  • Recovery disc for Compaq Mini 110 c-1100DX

    Hello

I contacted HP support several times over the past 2 years without success (a few times when I first bought this PC), so I thought I would try these forums.  I bought a Compaq Mini 110 c-1100DX with Windows XP a few years ago and wanted to create a recovery disc for it.  I followed the instructions, but I find that the typical HP, who is referenced in my manual, Recovery Manager does not exist.  HP support has confirmed this, but refuses to communicate any recovery disks support or operating system.  They said I could use the Roxio software that never worked to create or restore images.  I refuse to pay $16 for something my other HP computers 5 all allowed me to... create the factory recovery disks.  I have an external DVD burner, I have USB flash drives, and I have a desire to find a way to recover the original image.  I know that I can make an image of the disk because it is today, and I can use another software to create back ups.  I don't want to do that, I want the original image.

Does anyone know of a place to download this image, a line of support that might be willing to send me the DVD recovery, or a way to connect with a more high level and preferably American, support staff?  I have 5 HP computers and printers HP 2, and I know the tech support/customer service line is a waste of time.  I'm good enough at the end of my rope with HP, and despite the fact that computers and printers have always been good support so so incredibly awful that I can't buy them more if I can't get this simple application is complete after 2 years of trying.  Any ready HP there at Carillon?

For reference for anyone else having this problem (or any other issue, with the support of HP), I called 650-857-1501 (HP corporate), went to the business operator, explained my problem and the issues I had with the support of the founded India, she was very polite and transferred me to a very useful case manager named Emily and it solved the problem in 5 minutes.  I can't believe how much it was easy after suffering through hours and hours of race around the line of standard support.
