  Info upgrade memory are in Chapter 1, page 2.

  You need to remove the 1 GB chip you have in there now and replace with a 2 GB chip.

  You want to get a memory module 2 GB PC2-5300 (667 MHz) for optimal performance.

• Problem updating Mini 110-3500 2 GB RAM

  A few days ago, I bought a HP Mini 110-3500 netbook (more precisely a 110-3538TU / LD928PA) and separately, I bought an upgrade to 2 gigabytes of RAM to another bank. Normal price was AUD $119,96 but Harvey Norman gave me for $60, $5 more that I had paid for the Kingston RAM. I was skeptical, but it was working good in weeks.

  I personally know anyone who has developed a mini 110 4 GB of memory.

  If you can use the 4 GB chip in another notebook or can return it if it doesn't work, you can try it, but I still think that it would not work. I don't think that the laptop would boot.

  I live in the Philippines and I just bought my HP mini 110-1111TU PC to one of the stores in Singapore and I wonder if its posible to upgrade my memory to 2 GB? The specification States, it supports only 1 GB of memory, maximum.

  My question is, will the aircraft crashed when I update in 2 GB?

  It seems that this is possible. Here is a link to a youtube video where a guy did exactly that. He had the habit of GSkill ram.

  Hi, I just bought the HP MINI 110-3130NR and want to upgrade the ram.  The problem is, there is no access panel like the videos show.  The background is completely smooth and without access to the battery that slides to the rear of the compartment.  Stands in the background?  If so, are the screws under the little rubber feet?  Are they pop out?  I'm puzzled.

  Who have the info on how to remove the access door on HP mini 110-3000... and yes the bottom comes off... There are no screws, it just simple latch slide (Orange color), it takes to remove the bottom...

  Hi I have a problem with my hp mini 110-3000sa when I try to upgrade to sp1 I get the error message and the upgrade fails

  Right-click on the icon and select run as administrator.

  Once the command window opens type the following command in the command window. :

  sfc/scannow

  hit enter key, see if it will take place and what results or error messages, and then post them.

  I found what you are looking at and I'm sure that it's a typo about 99.5%. All netbooks with Atom processor and Intel chipset, I've heard or had my hands on can be upgraded to 2 GB of RAM with a single module of memory, but not from 4 concerts. I do not see that yours can't be upgraded to 2 GB.

  If you want to upgrade depends on what features you want beyond the Windows 7 Starter Edition you have.

  I would also recommend max memory to 2 GB if you install another version of W7.  You may have already made in all cases. If you do not you would need to remove the chip from 1 GB and install a module of memory 2 GB PC2 - 5300.

  I have a problem when I play a video. The video isn't smooth, and sometimes it's stagnant causes the audio and video is not sync.

  Hello, I have a HP Mini 110-4250nr PC, bought in the summer 2012.  It is running really slow and frustrating.   It takes up to 30 seconds to do something simple, like open Internet Explorer or any type of file.  Documents can take up to a minute.

  I still have the Windows 7 starter is it came with.  I use it mainly for writing.  I have Microsoft Office on it and while running Word 2013 there is a lag, the screen is not follow my typing speed.

  If I update to windows 8 performances will improve?  I don't want to drop money on the upgrade to get the same result.

  A hardware upgrade will be necessary?

  It has only 1 GB of RAM, the upgrade to 2 GB of RAM, you can see a lot of improvement. Machine has only ONE RAM slot, to throw away the key 1 GB and buy a 2 GB key. This is the cheapest way.

  There's something else would run the machine faster: replace the 5400 RPM HDD with a SSD, but please consider cost/performance. You can buy RAM from the next provider or use the information to buy elsewhere:

• HP Mini 110 (XP) - no sound after reinstallation

  Hello! I have a problem after reinstalling my HP Mini 110 and would appreciatte any comment on that.

  I formatted the pc and installed a new version of XP Home edition (SP2).
  Everything went very smooth and all the drivers where installed (downloaded from the HP driver support site).

  Video, network, Intel Wifi chipset, Bios, everything works like a charm... expect for AUDIO.

  I installed the driver IDT, but at the start of the installation it says something in the sense of "your audio device is not supported by this installer" and stops.

  I tried with several different drivers (all from HP site) with no luck.

  Another thing that caught my attention, it's that there is no audio device in the "material management" tab of the system... No sound card is detected! It seems really weird to me...

  What could be the problem? Clues? I must point out that the format of the sound card worked perfectly.

  My computer is a HP Mini 110 (LA 1020).

  Well Finally I solved it. !!

  The thing is simple... As soon as I installed SP3, the material was detected and drivers accepted without problem.

  Storms XP SP2 will NOT work with the IDT audio device. Just updated to SP3 and immediately the sound card started working.
