  Be aware that it won't give you all the features that was present in the newer operating system drivers.

  We build a Windows 7 SOE for a large company that takes care of many models of computers laptops hp. Each of these laptops comes with a fingerprint reader, and we would like to use the built in support of fingerprint (biometric devices) reader that is running windows 7. The models that we support are as follows:

  • HP 6910P
  • HP 6930p
  • HP 8510w
  • HP 8530w

  We tried using the drivers of fingerprint Authentec (aes2501a) on the hp website, but after the installation, the biometric device option is not in windows 7. We contacted HP about this and they said that we must use the driver coming from windows update before this option appears. After installing the driver from windows update, the option of the biometric device seemed that hp said. Therefore, because of the way that our SOE is built, we demand that the executable that is identical to that on windows update. Anyone know where we can find packages both x 64 and x 86 for this device driver, which are the same as those found when you go to update windows on these machines running windows 7? Let me know if you need any clarification.

  Step 1: Locate the stand-alone file by inserting the device model number
  a. visit http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx
  in the search box, enter the model number of the perimeter search of the driver.
  c. download the right driver for your windows and install it successfully on all computers.

  Note: If there is no available stand-alone file, I'm afraid you'll have to visit update of Windows on all computers and the installation of the update done or contact the device manufacturer to obtain the driver.

  It's normal when you are in mode split with Code and design, while the external use referenced images. There is no setting to fix it.

  As a work around, I normally keep a copy local images in a file of site when working on an html email, then just before the code for the e-mail service hovers over, I'll do a quick search & replace to add the absolute paths for images server copies.

  Live View mode should show images correctly, but editing is not possible in DWCS6 although later versions now have an editor in Live mode.

  Just bought a Nikon D7200 camera.  Had a D7100.  11 of the components support the camera.  Using of 11 items, the D7200 will not import the RAW files.  I can't go to 14 items because I have Windows Vista... 14 platform not supported by Vista.  Looking for something for me to 'trigger' with a new computer due to the fact that Vista can not do a bunch of stuff, so I ordered one with 14 elements.  @ I understand that 14 elements does support the Nikon D7200 because it comes with Camera Raw 9.1.   Is this correct?

  HP Support Assistant suggested three updates for my system.

  When you try to download the wizard, all of the facilities have not (a phenomenon that has been described by some other posters in this forum).

  So, I looked for each three updates directly in the HP site, after finding my computer and the operating system (HP for computer laptop 15-ay011nr, 10 64-bit Windows).

  I have found two of the updates, but not the third, called: "Intel WLAN for Micorsoft Windows", with Softpaq number SP76133, version 18.40.0.9Pp2, if it is relevant.

  When I reviewed this softpaq number in the site, I have found, but saw that it's only for windows 7 and 8.

  Why the HP support assistant that suggest an update for my system win 10?

  Am I supposed to download it?

  If not, is there a way to stop the support Wizard to think that I should install it?

  I suggest you uninstall all components of HP support assistant programs in Control Panel.

  You n t need to install any special drivers to activate the Aero.
  Aero is a part of the Vista! Usually, you can use the Aero by pressing the Windows and TAB key

  But not all computer laptop and material supports Aero!
  On the Microsoft Web site, you will find information on hardware specifications that are needed to use the Aero feature

  On most HP laptops that I've seen, they use different motherboards for processor Intel dual core and quad core processors, so if I were to take a guess, I would say that the i7-2670QM will not work.

  I'm running Windows 7 x 64 SP1 Enterprise Edition.  We use DDPE to manage BitLocker.  Laptops are not encrypted.  According to the journal of DDPE encryption starting not due to the fact that the the TPM Base Services (TBS) secure is not started.  Open services.msc and realized that TBS was not even as a service.  Research on TBS and found it's relies on the file "tbssvc.dll.  This file is not anywhere on my PC, (should be in Windows\System32).  I hope someone can help me with the following questions.  I'M assuming that TBS is a Windows service?  He would appear in a standard installation? Windows Update?  If it is standard, and it does not install, is there a way to reinstall the service?  I found a link on the Dell site that got copy tbssvc.dll from a work computer, paste it to a computer for non-working, create new registry keys and register the dll from the registry.  It works, but I prefer not to go down this rabbit hole if there is a simpler solution.  Thanks for your help.

  The operating system doesn't matter much because virtualization allows you to install any operating system you need for Oracle. What is more important are the CPU card (fast and cores more is better), RAM (the longer the better) and the disc (even once, more is better - but it is relatively easy to upgrade to a larger disk).

  On 3, the choice of CPU is the most important, since the replacement/upgrade a CPU is quite difficult for most users - so buy a system which is the fastest CPU and a large number of nuclei (typically a processor i7 today). Regarding the RAM, choose a system that can support up to 32 G of RAM should be enough - even if you don't buy all 32 G now, the possibility of extending your RAM capacity at a later date will ensure that you can use this material for a long time. By doing so, you will be able to run several virtual machines with different versions of Oracle systems.

  If you buy today a Windows system, it will probably come pre-loaded with Win 8.1 - who is currently not certified to any Oracle software, so using a virtual machine will be your likely solution.
