HP Notebook 15 ac 123TX: impossible to enter the boot menu

I am not able to go to the boot on my HP Notebook 15 ac 123TX menu.  I tried to type esc and a few other function at startup keys, but it just starts normally. Please someone tell me the steps.

Thanks in advance.

Hello

Shut down the laptop - if you're running Windows 8/8.1 or 10, this by holding down the button SHIFT left click Shutdown to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot.

Now, try typing away at the ESC key as you as soon as you press the button start and see if it jumps to the Start Menu.  If this is the case, select f10 to enter the bios menu.

Kind regards

DP - K

I need to replace making paper rolls in the printer. I found countless videos and instructions on how to enter the secret menu for ultimatly choose "Pickup rollers" option to block in place. The combination is by pressing the arrow to the LEFT and the red button to cancel at the same time which should then display "2ndary Service" option Menu.

    I'm doing something wrong? Is it because it's a CP2025n and not a CP2025?

I thought about her from another Web site. IDK why but below has been what has worked.

    1. Hold the left arrow key)<). the="" display="" will="" continue="" to="" cycle="" through="" setup="">
    2. Press Cancel (x), then release the button left arrow)<). now="" an="" additional="" "2ndary="" service"="" menu="" will="" appear="" in="" the="">
    3. With "2ndary Service" showing (use arrows left/right, if necessary), press OK.

So instead of building and now their whole (which is what most sites say) you must keep LEFT and hit CANCEL it once everything by letting go of the LEFT.

Was able to access the menu 2ndary servce.

  • Pavilion a1710n impossible to enter the BIOS from the put in new hard drive

I have a HP Pavilion a1710n desktop initially under Vista Home Premium.  Problem is hard disk came out, I then replaced with a hard drive Western Digital SATA of similar type.  However, now I am unable to enter BIOS using F10 or Escape or by pressing the F1 key turning on the PC.  When I tried to put Vista on the PC, it stopped and gave me an error 0 x 80070002; Lack of D:\Sources\Installation, which I do not know what it means exactly or how to fix it.  I had already updated the Vista Home Premium to Win7 Pro.  Given that the disc is a disc update of Win7, guess I'll have to reinstall Vista first and then update again to Win7 Pro?  At the moment everything I have on the PC is the new hard drive without any Windows operating system and my PC doesn't seem to be reading the new hard drive, I think, and in the Start Menu, it is shown as 3rd master drive and DVD is 2nd Master.  So what happened the 1st master?  No what should be my new hard drive?  I'm always so frustrated and of course, my PC is long out of warranty, although I tried calling support without much help I'm afraid.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello again patticat22,

Thank you for responding to my message. If I understand your reference Bravo you check to see if you can find a solution? If and it would be better to search for accepted Solutions because they are used to indicate that a solution has been found, where a Bravo must indicate appreciate for a position.

As for your question, I think it could be a drive for the failure of the installation that you have and recommend you order another set. I'm you provide a link to the HP Support document: looking for HP recovery discs or a USB HP recovery disk?, which has all the necessary steps to guide you through the ordering a new set of recovery disks. There may be a fee for ordering them, but I think this will solve your problem and get your computer back operational.

So you can try to use the HP support document: removing and replacing the CMOS battery, that you want to remove the battery (keep out 24 hours before putting it again) and put it back. This should clear your BIOS and reset back to factory. If the BIOS is still inaccessible after that, I think it would be best if you contacted technical support HP for repair options.

United States supports Contact link options HP products purchased in the United States.
Outside WE support link to connect with options for HP products purchased outside the United States.

Please re-post though I have well understood you or if you need additional support. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great weekend!

  • Impossible to enter the Inbox in outlook, but can read my messages through NTL?

I can't get into my Inbox it remains empty and when I try to exit Outlook express, he says that the program is not responding. Through NTL, I was able to read my messages, but it is a very round end how to read my messages. Help!

Do not give up yet. In the old identity. Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | In general. Uncheck the box: "include this account...". ».

Switch to the new identity and send yourself a test message. If you don't get it, check your settings again. There is no reason it should not work.

If this does not work, try to import the messages. If you can not, create folders on the desktop for each folder in the old identity with the messages you need registered. Open an OE folder and highlight all messages and drag them into a folder on the desktop.

In the new identity, highlight all messages from the desktop folder and drag them into an OE folder you already created.

    To your address book:

Open the address book in the old identity and file | Export | Address book (wab) to any location on your HARD drive that is easy for you. The office is very well. Then, open the address book in the new identity and file | Import | Address book (wab), and then tap on where it was saved.

You should now have all messages except the Inbox, correct? To do this, see first if there is an Inbox.bak file in the trash. If there is, post back for more details. Otherwise, you will need a recovery tool.

  • Impossible to enter the ADMINISTRATOR password

I am new to Windows 7 and have encountered a problem/bug.  I used the command NET USER ADMINISTRATOR / active: Yes to access the default administrator.  I have reset the password and then used the / ACTIVE: No. NET USER ADMINISTRATOR to hide the default administrator.  The single user install now is a user standard non-passworded.  When I perform a task that requires an ADMINISTRATOR password, I have a box that says "to continue, type an administrator password and then click YES.  Where to type the password?  No dialog box is displayed for the password and if I just type the button YES does not become active

By disabling the only administrator account you you actually yourself painted into a corner. Rather than have no such account, you must have two: one for occasional use, an emergency. You should do that now:

    1. Start the computer with your CD to repair Windows in Repair Mode and perform a system restore to undo your previous actions.
    2. Create and test two admin accounts.
    3. Register their details on paper.
    4. Disable the administrator account.
