HP offers a network print to Kindle app/driver or similar mobile device?

I use a printer HP LaserJet CP1025nw of SIN - and a fire to be kindled. They do not speak with each other.

I would use an officially supported HP (reading - 'trust') of the interface of my Kindle, Android or other mobile devices, just as I enjoy printing services to my other PC computers HP, the midrange and mainframe.

I understand that there are hacks and freeware to do this, just like in the early days of the PC.  Similarly, these new mobile devices are here to stay, and the need for a paper copy of these tools has moved beyond the occasional hacking solutions and third-party.

In addition to snapshots and birthday cards, we are now received printing orders, BOMs and proposals from these devices.

It needs confidence and security, such as one would expect from HP.

Offer HP, or plan to offer, a professional quality, HP, support, wireless app/print driver for Kindle, Android or other mobile devices?

Thank you for your interest.

  • m276n: print from a mobile device using a wired connection on the printer

    Hello

I am considering buying the printer m276n for use in the home. I have a small Home Office on the top floor of my house which is out of range of my wifi signal but has a wired connection to the same router that broadcasts the wifi signal. I want to put the printer and connect it via a wired connection to the network. I know that it works perfectly for all windows home computers that are attached to the same network (wired and wireless), as long as I give you a fixed IP address to the printer.

But since we use mobile devices more and more (apple and android) it will be a nice to have to print those as well. I watched Eprint Airprint movies, but all tell me that the printer must be connected wireless. Is it a necessity or my proposed wired installation will work just as well?

    Hi @MartijnS ,

I see by your post that you would like to know if you can use the ePrint Airprint functionality with the printer and when it is configured on the network via an Ethernet connection. I can certainly help you.

The ePrint and Airprint feature work when a printer is connected to a network. It can be wired or wireless to the router.

Here is the document with a little information for print from an Apple Mobile Device.

The documentation shows also wireless, but again, it works through a wired too.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a great day!
    Thank you.

I messed up my Kindle for Mac app and Mac3 my own to uninstall the application. I then reinstalled the Kindle for Mac App and after the launch of the app, I got the message "Unable to Connet, please check your network settings and the Configuration of the Proxy". I tried everything under the Sun of suggestions on the internet and my own 31 years to work with Apple computers and the solution to fixing this problem escapes me. I have an iMac to display Retina 5 K, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), 3.5 Ghz intel core i5, 8 GB of ram. More computer, then I probably need, but I needed speed. l know there are others out in internet land who had the same problem and I hope someone has a solution or should we all petition Amazon for help.

Never use this third-party what we called apps like Mac Clean My cleaning. This app has managed to corrupt your network settings.

    Open the Finder.

In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

Then type or copy paste the following text:

    / Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

Click OK, and then move all files in the SystemConfiguration folder to the trash.

Then, restart your Mac and try the Kindle app.

Your Mac wil re generate a new SystemConfiguration folder for you.

Printer HP Officejet 7300 network series that allows to work flawlessly with El Capitan does not work after the upgrade to Sierra.

With macOS Sierra, when used as a network print service printer works fine however scan does not work. Programs like the Image Capture, HP Easy Scan etc does not see the printer. However, if the printer is directly connected to the Macbook Pro using the usb cable, a new printer is added to the list of printers (it shows print and scan functions while the printer network in the list shows only printing function) and the scanner works well with Image Capture, etc. If the usb cable is removed disconnects this printer in the list and there is no way to turn it on. • How to print from an iPad Pro on a wired network printer?

We have new iPads for our busines. They are Pros iPad on iOS 9.3.4.

It would be a great help if we could get them to print on our WIRED network printer. The iPads are on LTE

Printers must be networked printers.  iOS supports Air-print printers in native mode (see Topic AirPrint - Apple Support) but AirPrint is specifically a wifi printing protocol.  If your printer is not compatible AirPrint, but compatible wifi, then make sure that the app store for one of the wifi universal several print apps.

There is no way to directly connect an iPad to a cable of printer.  Or a cellular connection of LTE will help unless these printers are also connected LTE and can be seen by some App on the App store to manage printing on them.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 all-in-One connected as network printer loses connection

In December 2011, I bought a HP Officejet Pro 8600 all-in-One to replace an Officejet 6500 as my network printer home. The 6500 worked very well on my cable, but his screen did not, I tried some of the features offered by the 8600 and I got a good price on a new warehouse of BJ. I have the 8600 connected via ethernet (not wireless), with a static IP address. All my computers on the network are running Windows XP Pro SP3 and are up-to-date with Microsoft updates. However, from one day to the next my 8600 will lose connectivity scan (Scan of the computer shows it as being disabled on all my computers at the same time, and I can't reconnect), and if I do not have anything he'll (as in a few hours) also lose connectivity impression. The only way to restore connectivity is to uninstall the HP Officejet Pro 8600 device software basis of all computers, and then reinstall the printer. I had a phone conversation and two debates with HP Technical Support; They suggested that the problem is in the firewall on the computers (but if that were the case I don't think that the loss of connectivity would occur on all computers at the same time), the IP address setting (doesn't make sense) and the printer driver is not not the latest version. I tried all the suggestions, and none of them have solved the problem. The last counselor "has raised the issue to the next level", which proved to be a Manager with no technical expertise and his only suggestion was that I have to return the printer to the merchant. I think the problem is the firmware in the printer (which, according to the 'update' on the printer option, is the latest version). Any other suggestions or experience?

After a lot of research and find the settings that I did not know that Windows XP offered, I found that the following appear to have solved the problem I've known - at least the printer is now operational for more than 48 hours without losing printing or scan connection. Here are the steps I used:

    1. Start Control Panel  connections network and Internet

    2. Choose "network connections."

    3. Right click on "connect to the Local network.

    4. Choose "Properties".

    5. In the top window is the name of the Ethernet computer connection port, select "Configure" next to this window

    6. Select the tab labeled 'Power Management'

    7. Uncheck the box "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

    8. Select the "Advanced" tab

    9. Select the entry "power saving Mode".

    10. If this entry is set to change 'On' to 'Off '.

    11. Select 'OK', and then close the windows that were opened

  • After the death of firewall router in an outtage power yesterday I replaced my router have restored internet access, but none of my corporate office offices can access our network printer/scanner.

yerterday morning, that we had a power outage at my place of business. When power has been restored we can't access internet from any one of our desktop computers. After working with a material MFG co troubleshotter. our firewall router NETGEAR, it has been determined that the equipment was defective. They offered to replace the camera for only the shipping charges, I felt an acceptable solution. Then I was told that with bureaucracy, it would take two weeks to get the new unit. Well, my choice was then to set for two weeks and slowly go out of business or buying a new router. I have relpaced the unit with another mod. Netgear router and this quickly got back up again, at least if we could access our system of internal accounting and the internet. My problem is as it is now that I can't access our office network printer.scanner (kyoceraMita) of any one of my desktops. At this point, I'd appreciate any help. I own my business, but am not a computer guy of any measurment known to man. I have this idea, maybe it's a simple software for all fit everyone access to what they need, but I don't know what it is maybe. If sufficient information, in my view, that I could probably fix the problem myself without providing any benefits of outdoor programming.

The problem now is that the router has changed, the addresses IP, subnet mask, default gateway address, network security wireless network wireless security password and other settings no longer correspond to the original router.  As you said that the SCP can all see each other, you need to see Kyocera and network user's guide 'unit' in order to find the IP address, subnet mask and other network setting the configuration parameters 'method '.

I need to print on the printer HP 2540 M/F to my Kindle Fire HD 2nd gen and Kindle Fire HDX

    jocarter,

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

Please take a look at the following:

    Add the printer device

You don't want the printer to connect to your wireless network.

If you have a computer at home, and the printer software is available for your operating system, you can install the complete functionality to your printer software.

While you are in the site Web of Support for your printer, it downloads a copy of the your printer user's Guide - it's always good to have on hand.

Your printer is not an ePrint printer - you can skip the sections connected HP and ePrint.

The section you need for your Kindle:

See Section > Mobile device / iPad becomes an application

  • Problem Network Printer B209a-M

I had to get a new wireless modem because my old one stopped working.  I don't know how to upgrade the printer with the new wireless information.  None of these options on the printer does nothing when I press them (network options). I have a printer B209-a.

Photosmart plus B209, must use the printer software to connect the printer to a new network.  Prior to using the information in the document following the link I would erase the current information for the network printer.

    * Menu of the printer Configuration > network Menu > restore default network values

To connect to this printer to new access point must be a USB cable. *******

    (1) download the drivers for this printer by clicking here.

    (2) run the downloaded file to start the installation of the software, if not yet downloaded.

    (3) If you do not have the software installed, then the package will immediately lead to a connected printer

    (4) select that you want to connect wireless and software will ask for a USB cable to be plugged

    (5) once the printing software linked to the printer via the USB cable, then the software will offer the ability to automatically send the information stored in the computer wireless or to enter the information manually.

For more information about this installation method, click here.  I hope this helps.

  • Network Vista and XP - connection to the network printer problem

I try to print to a network printer connected to a vista from a computer xp machine

    Two computers on a network
Vista machine is connected through the ethernet card and has a connected printer
XP machine is via wireless network

Both machines have the same network name "mshome".
Open ports on the firewall and also left Software Firewall

When I print a job, I see it be wound on the info from the printer on both machines, but then, it is automatically deleted.

I am able to access the hard disks from two computers

The printer works this way, when you share a printer between XP and Vista where the printer is connected to Vista, XP will communicate with the printer and its drivers Vista.

So as I suspected it was due from pilots, in your case XP will be offered 64 bit readers which it does not recognize

If we rely on the printer connected to the Vista 64-bit operating system operating system 32-bit, we need to install the additional drivers (especially the XP must be with 32 bits, only 32 bits of the operating system will not show if it's 32-bit or 64-bit)

So in this case, you must right click on the printer on Vista and go to the sharing tab, and then click additional drivers, it will be the operating system and Version to select and you will need to select Windows XP x 86 and install the drivers

Now your Vista will be the 32-bit and 64-bit drivers installed. Now, when you share the printer, when the Contacts XP Vista, Vista has drivers and it will be able to share the printer correctly. Anish

  • Network printer spooling Service problems

I have a wireless home network.  One of our laptops cannot add wireless printer.  I get the error "the local print spooler service is not running"... and "Spooler Subsystem App. Stopped working. "I check the named service and he said: it is running.  Other computers have no problem to access the network printer.  Any thoughts?

    Hi rghill,

    Here's how to fix this:

    1. go in programs and features in Control Panel > on features Windows turn on or off

    2. click on + sign of printing services

    3. Select LPD and LPR. You must remove the Internet printing Client. > restart your PC to ensure there is no error in the spooler service.

  • HP 3520: HPAiO does not appear connected network printer

I have a HP 3520 printer all-in-one connected by Wi - Fi as a network printer. It is connected and I have printed all of her documents.

When I tried to find the ink level, then I used "Devices and printers", double clicked on the HP 3520 and then tried to use option 1 available to check the status of the printer etc.. The HP AiO screen appeared and showed my printer 'offline '. I restarted my printer and I tried again. I rebooted my computer and tried again with the same result.

I downloaded HP Print & Scan Doctor and he immediately showed my HP75B0B (HP Deskjet 3520 series) connected to the network and showing its network address. I then used the program to see the printer ink levels.

Why a bit of the HP software does not give the same result as another piece of HP software? The original software delivered with the printer worked perfectly and allowed me to see the ink levels etc with no problems. The software that has taken its place does not work. Why?

    Hello

The HP all in a distance does not take the place of full features software, it is an option of additional software requiring the HP software to be installed.

For the HP All In One app to work, it requires installing the HP software as shown below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04675142

Follow this tool to get the complete HP software:

    http://h20180.www2.HP.com/apps/NAV?h_pagetype=s-926&h_lang=en&h_client=s-h-E016-1&h_keyword=DG-PIW

After completing the installation, you can use the HP printer Assistant as, or use the HP All In One Remote application.

  • New Win 7 computer cannot access the IP address of the network printer. Help, please.

    Greetings,

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE: we have found the solution to this problem, we, and that I posted an explanation as well as two ways to solve the problem in my 2nd post on May 5, 2015. Scroll down to it for the solution. Unfortunately, Microsoft does not allow the OP to mark one of their own messages as 'the Answer' so this thread continues to be listed as "no answer" when he actually answered me.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The original message follows...

We cannot sign a new Win 7 (64-bit) computer to a printer ethernet established in our local network of 'working '. We have reached the limit of our troubleshooting skills and expertise assistance.

    Our Local network
    ------------------------
The printer is a Dell 5100cn workgroup laser that is connected via an ethernet cable to a 10/100 workgroup switch 5-port Cisco/Linksys. The switch is connected to the built-in cable Motorola modem / 4 port gigabit router / WiFi access point. There is no server between the printer and the network.

Other computers on the network run also Win 7 and have no trouble seeing and using the printer. Some computers are connected via a gigabit ethernet cable to the router Motorola. Other computers connect wireless WiFi (once again, by the same Motorola device). All computers, including the new ones, are attributed to the same workgroup.

The printer has a static IP address. It also has an integrated Web page accessible within the network via a browser to view the status of the printer. All previous computers can view the status of the printer Web page by entering its IP address in a browser.

    The new Win 7 computer
    --------------------------------
At the Windows command prompt, we successfully ping the IP address of the printer and received a return signal. However, we are unable to connect to the IP address of the printer (and status Web page) with a browser. And we cannot find the printer when install us the printer driver. We have tried to turn off the Windows Firewall and it did not help.

When we install the driver, move us as a 'local' printer and create a new "Standard TCP/IP Port" for her. We enter the static IP address of the printer and name the port. Define us the Protocol to "LPR", enter the name of the queue ("lp") and activate SNMP State with name of the 'public' community and the index "1". These settings have worked very well with our previous computers.

When the time comes to 'choose printer', we select 'have disk... '. ' and use the Dell 64-bit for this printer driver. But it does not work and do not print a test page. We even tried to install the printer as a 'network' printer driver, but it does not, either. In addition, the 'local' method always seemed to work best in the past.

The new computer has no harm to see other computers and devices on the network. For example, there is a NAS connected to the same switch Cisco/Linksys like the printer and the computer can access the NAS via its static IP address. The new computer can also access the internet. He can't use the IP address of the printer. We even tried to change the address IP of the printer, but that did not help either.

Despite the fact that the work - the network troubleshooter Windows command prompt ping indicates that the printer is not responding. What do we lack? Help, please.

    Greetings,

I hope that this will be our last post on this subject. We have discovered the source of the problem and can offer two 'fixed' in case someone else runs into the same situation.

With the help of MSConfig and a process of elimination, we have disabled non-Microsoft services that were running on the computer until we discovered that "Qualcomm Atheros Killer Service V2" was the source of the problem.

    Explanation

    ----------------

Our new Win 7 computer contains a communication module ethernet/WiFi/Bluetooth e2200 Qualcomm Atheros. The manufacturer provides a '' Killer Network Manager '' for this system. Its purpose is to monitor and control the flow of data over a network connection in order to optimize for. For example, the user can choose to give the program A high priority and program-B low priority. This ensures that the program-A is less lag in the network traffic.

The primary market for this function, so far, has been the online game (where the name of 'Killer'). It allows players to channel the bulk of the bandwidth available to their game and away from other programs and services that are running at the same time. A response faster online gives the player the advantage it needs to get "kill him" before someone else.

This system of control of bandwidth has interfered with data packets of return of our network, clearing communication between our computer and our printer printer.

    Difficulty 1

    --------------

The simplest solution for us was to disable 'Qualcomm Atheros bandwidth control' for the ethernet NIC that has been accomplished by going to: Windows Control Panel > network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > change the settings of the card (in the sidebar). Then we clicked on our connection to the LAN (our NETWORK ethernet card) and select the 'Properties' command Finally, on the Networking tab, we have disabled 'Qualcomm Atheros control bandwidth' and clicked 'OK' button to close.

All that was needed after that was a quick restart and we were able to access our printer even with the killer Network Manager and functioning of Qualcomm Atheros Killer Service V2.

Either way, we left the control function of bandwidth enabled for wireless (our) network connection because we do not plan on using this network printer when the computer is untethered to ethernet.

    Difficulty 2

    --------------

If you don't want the killer running Network Manager on your computer, you may be tempted to uninstall. Do not! Uninstall will also uninstall the drivers needed for your ethernet, WiFi and possibly your Bluetooth as well. We heard that some users have communicated with Qualcomm and were able to coax, on their part, the necessary drivers comm without luggage "Killer". But you don't need to do it, either.

All you need to do is: (1) remove the 'Killer Network Manager' of the '"start up" folder of the start menu of Windows (under "programs") and (2) using MSConfig, uncheck "Qualcomm Atheros Killer Service V2" under the ' Services ' section. Then reboot and you're good to go. The killer Network Manager and his service will not work.

Moreover, the reason for which we did not chose this method, ourselves, is because we see one deserves that available Killer Network Manager so that we can block network traffic to select programs. Solution 1 converts this easy thing because the Ethernet bandwidth control can be quickly activated again if she is ever desired. And we're leaving it enabled for our WiFi.

    Best regards, David-EH
