  our printer hp office jet 6600 model does not print the date or time on the confimation fax sheet after sending a fax.  the date and shows all zeros.  How to set the date and time so it prints the current time?

  2. press on the down -arrow, then Preferences.

  3. touch Date & time.

The instillation disk will not load because I have windows 8 and it works on XP etc. I know that there is a patch or fix somewhere to get the loading disc because I had to work until my laptop crashed and I reset it.  How to operate on Windows 8?

  I have a relatively new (9 mos old) Officejet 6600. When I turned on it today I got this error "failure of the Scanner: unable to scan, copy or send a fax."

  I want to help you to scan to email with your Officejet 6600. Are you able to scan the computer rather than the scanning to e-mail? I would like to see if we can reach the scan of your email and send it like that. This will help determine if the problem is in the scan file itself, or the scanning to E-mail process. I can't help but wonder if the analysis file is maybe great to email. Description you looks like you have the scan in the email, but cannot send it.

  Please let me know if you can then send via e-mail after the have set from the computer, as opposed to scan directly to e-mail.

  How can I print black with color ink are empty? (I have gone to properties... black and white only... and allow black ink only a few times, but I get the options for onlinr purchases, cancel printing or help.)

  Does anyone know how to change the setting on a HP Officejet 6600 to where it scans to Adobe reader. I want all my default items/files scanned at adobe.  Thank you

  I notice that the file extension of your "Test - 1.jpg Document ' file is JPG." It is an image file. Please try scanning to a PDF document and open it with Adobe.

  Hello.  My Officejet 6600 will not suddenly print web pages.  It prints very well word documents. I have restarted my computer, restarted my printer and not better.  My wireless works very well - as I said, very well printed word documents.  Help!

  I'm here to help you with your printing issue!

  As you cannot print Web pages, I think that the web browser or Web pages could be the root cause of the problem, however, I could certainly be wrong too. I think this way because normally when there is a conflict of printer driver, you would not be able to print from anywhere at all from your PC.

  I suggest that you try using another web browser and try your impression from here to test this theory.

  If you want to let me know the operating system you are running and what web browsers that you tried, I'll help more if necessary. Please let me know!

  

• Office Jet 8630: OfficeJet Pro 8630 doesn't go to sleep

  I just plugged the 8630 to Win 7 (64-bit) machine via the USB cable (I disabled the wireless).  Everything works fine except that the printer does not seem to sleep regardless of the sleep setting, I chose.  The screen is always enabled.  The firmware is updated.

  There could be a few reasons why this could happen, to help determine if it is a hardware or firmware glitch try the following steps below.

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.

  • Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
  • Make sure that the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet (do not use a hub or a surge protector). This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation. This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.
