  • Impossible to run the installer for HP officejet 4500 G510 install on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 Toshiba Satellite. Any ideas how to fix?

Setup running on the HP disc will not work.  No error message, stops just until it loads the installation program.

I downloaded the site Installer Internet HP (versions complete and base).  Same results - cannot run the installation program.

I contacted Toshiba, which says it's a problem of Windows 7, and communicate with Microsoft.

I installed this printer at least 10 times on some other operating systems without problem.

I want a wireless printer that prints, scans, and faxes, but impossible to get the installer to run.

  • Printers HP officejet j145 does not install on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

On my new Sony Vaio desktop running Windows 7 Edition family premium, when I plugged my USB for my printer HP officejet j145 connection, apparently found windows update driver generic Microsoft for d-series but starting failed. The error code returned is WindowsUpdate_80070570.    When I tried to use the Add Hardware Wizard to install the printer manually, the error message says parts of the driver are missing or damaged.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

First, make sure that you get rid of the old driver: http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article_One.htm don't miss the step 4.

"Then download the latest drivers from: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=64992&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&cc=us&submit=Go%20.

  • HP Officejet 6500 E709a: Scanning and Windows 10

In the program compatibility Windows 10, he said that my printer all-in-One (HP Officejet 6500 E709a) was compatible with Windows 10 so I have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10.  I still can not print, but cannot scan.  I tried to install the drivers from this site but no help.  I deleted ALL my computer hp software and installed the suggested drivers but still no help.  Can someone tell me something that works?  My HP Officejet 6500 E709a is connected by a CAT 5 network cable to a hub connected to my computer.

    Thank you!

    Hi @deltatrooper,

I see that you are still not able to scan with HP Solution Center on Windows 10.

Were you able to scan from the Windows Fax and Scan windows software?

Please try the steps listed in @JohnGPB post. Scan function lost after upgrade Windows 10

There are several steps to go and change the registry to remove the HP printer files.

Note: For other users using a computer HP not work not level 4, just level 3 Uninstall Uninstalling.

I would like to know what the results are. Thank you.

  • HP envy 4500 print problems and windows 8.1

I had some problems printing with my desire to hp 4500. I recently bought this for use with my laptop, which runs windows 8.1. I tried to print wireless with mixed success. I can't print anything product of microsoft office, firefox, etc. I can't print a PDF file or the other - with a catch. If I print the document first with adobe printer, save the document, and then print with the printer of the desire, it will work (for a few pages at least). This happens even if the original document is a pdf file. When I try to print from word, for example, I get a message saying that "your file could not be printed due to an error on HP ENVY 4500 series (network) on. There are several possible reasons...  The scanner works fine with the software provided. Through software troubleshooting, I can print a test page for the hp software, but not the windows printing software (makes me think that this may be a sort of permissions problem that I can't understand). I went through the program of doctor hp, and he says that there is an update of the software. I try to update the software, and I get a message - the printer could not be installed on the network. I'm a bit confused. So - to answer the stupid questions typical-Yes, the printer and the laptop to have the power, Yes, wireless is enabled, Yes, my router works and my printer is connected to it (I can print eoffers/coupons directly from the printer), my diagnostic report is as follows wireless on-pass, wireless working-pass, signal quality-excellent. Connected-pass. unplug the total-7 count, count from last time-1, count last 24 hours - 1. neck of network name (ssid), other corresponding networks ssid-no, the printer settings comply with the router settings without thread-pass, no-pass, Channel-6 filtering, access badge. When I try to print any other documents wthout the adobe solution, I have that is getting the error message that I said previously, or the computer will go through the motions of printing but I never end up having all documents added to the queue. Any suggestions?

Hello. Thanks again for your help. I found how to solve my problem. I know now that it had nothing to do with the printer or its software. Something was wrong with my registry or files of certain parameters that I couldn't identify myself, that I tried to plug the two this printer in my lapotop via a usb port and installation (with the same problem). The same problem happened when I connected usb printer older that I know works (hp 3050 has-for printing at least) and still had the problem. I just did a windows update and had to reinstall everything. Now, I can print and scan wireless without problem. I would like to have a more simple solution. Maybe the idea of my friend to install a registry cleaner from the beginning was a bad idea. You live and learn, I guess.

  • OfficeJet 6500 has more on windows home premium 7 ad-hoc connection loss

OS: windows edition Home premium 7

    product: officejet 6500 has more

We organize a festival and everyone has a mobile phone that needs to print to the printer...

We don't have a network or a router and try to connect 6 ad-hoc laptop computers to the printer...

I managed to install the software on three laptop computers and a print ad-hoc wireless, but now he says that he does not find the printer over, even though the wireless network connections that the pc is connected to the network HPE710n.E5E3C5...

I can't connect to the http://169.254.227.197/ (printer server) of this laptop...

    so he went completely downhill...

on this laptop, I was able to print a page...

on three laptop I was also able to print a page...

but now he also says he «cannot communicate with the printer...» »

is ad-hoc only for a laptop at the same time?

    What solution do you propose?

can we do a completely wireless network with utp cable wireless router? and do a homegroup? and connect the printer with utp?

is the special designed to accept prints six different cell phones at the same time?

Thanks for any solution! We need it's really bad!

With ad-hoc connections, it is really intended more for printing in a pinch without going through the hassle of setting it up on a network.  Or, you have two computers and you have connected it via USB to an and a laptop which is wireless, you can print via ad-hoc of the laptop.

Honestly, I recommend picking up an affordable standalone wireless router (Netgear, Linksys, etc.) and connect the printer (wireless or Ethernet, does not matter).  From there on, connect the computers on this network and you should be able to install and print without any problems.  You can find the router could be useful beyond just this configuration or may be good to have if you plan to do events like this on a regular basis.

The printer itself is not a router and communicting with multiple devices simultaneously may create congestion in causing connection problems similar to what you experience when you use ad - hoc for as many devices.

  • OfficeJet 5610 install not on Windows 7

Our new Dell Pro Windows 7 64-bit system will not install the all-in-one OfficeJet 5610 printer software.

First attempt of installation since the downloaded software and driver from the HP website.

Second attempt from the CD that we purchased at HP for Windows 7 specifically.

Attempts to start the installation, it passes by the process of extracting the files... and then the installation screens go away and never come back.  There seems to be no kind of progress bar or error messages or the other.

We went through the suggested topics to disable startup programs, TSR, uninstall previous installations etc. but without any help.

I have not tried to install this on another Windows 7 system yet, but it's my other next step in this weird problem.

    Please help this confused soul.

    Thank you

    Kim

    This problem is now solved...

The process of setting was to unplug the USB cable from the printer.

Remove the printer from the list of printers in the printers on Windows 7 and peripheral area

Run the software provided on the CD from HP (probably could use the downloaded files from HP support)

The installation after you select INSTALL from the pop-up window (it will show also read - me, etc...)

The following screen speaks of warnings and you must check the "agree"box to continue

This next page is where I clicked on each of the four options and modifications

The part that shows each item to be installed is the place where I unchecked all except the first checkbox
Make sure that you open and exit of each 4 selections (they take a different color when you do)

Click on the button continue, and this time, you will come to a point where the software finally will ask you to connect the Flash DRIVE to the printer.

Now, rerun the package a 2nd time and a screen will come asking you to install "additional software".

Select each (OCR proper recognition, shop for ink and paper etc...) and let the software run to the finish.

Now restart your system and "solutions" HP center icon should now be on your desktop.

BTW, I tried to use the 'install your printer on Windows 7 Wizard' and the different 8 times, he tried to download 380Mb file, he finished only once.  Other times, he died on the time and amounts by saying that the 'download has been cancelled' Nice a HP... Attach it to a minimum so that we can continue with a download point of failure vs having to start over from the beginning. 8 x 17 minutes is 136 minutes of time lost.

Please mark this as a correction of a problem.

also please email me at {removed personal information} if anyone has questions about this problem.  I'd love to help you.

Hello @JMCarrigan and welcome to the Forums of HP, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I see that you are having problems of transport. I would like to help!

I would recommend starting with a power reset.  Unplug the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug back in the printer. Make sure that you connect the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any surge protector or power bar.

I suggest following the procedure described in this document:
