Pavilion DV7 6b78us: How can I connect my HP RC1762307/01 to my Pavilion DV7 6b78us
How to connect my HP RC1762307/01 to my Pavilion DV7 laptop 6b78us?
Hello
I think that HP RC1762307/01 is an IR transmitter. You need an IR receiver on you laprop. To find a receiver to match with the HP RC1762307/01 IR could be a challenge, because the receiver must know what are the commands from the transmitter.
My suggestion: buy a full new (your machine). This is an example:

Cannot access connections wireless on HP Pavilion dv5
Product name HP Pavilion DV5 laptop
Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
Error message: Wireless message "no connection is available.
No changes were made to the system
I can't access wireless connections, even if the other devices have access to connections. Wireless adapters work, but I can't seem to 'see' all wireless connections. /
This has just occurred recently-never a problem in the past.
Any recommendations?
I recommend you update your BIOS. Go to http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html , and then type the name of your product in the search box. Choose the Dv5 Entertainment Notebook that you have and select. On the next page select your operating system Windows 7 Home 32 or 64-bit. Once on the correct driver for your laptop page choose BIOS in the list of drivers. Please update your BIOS and reboot. This should bring your WIFI connection. Please let me know if that solves this problem.

Hi, I can't seem to find a driver for my computer wireless on HP Pavilion laptop dv6
Hello. As I said in the subject, for the life of me I can't find the driver I need for in-house wireless my laptop on the HP Web site? I use an external wireless adapter, but it's a very temporary solution and an ethernet cable would be very annoying, especially since it is my buisness and school computer and I run with it a lot...
If someone could help me please find the driver I need, it would be greatly appreciated!
(Also, I called HP support to ask them to connect the pilot, but since I could not afford to guarantee OR $50 + service charges, they directed me to the forums.)
Is my product number: aby53ua #aba
My model number is: dv6-6c35dx
My serial number is: {deleted personal information}
And I'm running on Windows 7 64 bit
I hope that this is all the information and thank you for your time!
Oh my god! I'm sorry.
I have worked for my son's pc and it has two monitors and I must have posted since the wrong screen!
Here ya go...

Change of modem wireless on HP Pavilion dv9700 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC
I have a model laptop DV9700 CTO Entertainment Notebook. It came with a modem Wireless 'G '. I wonder if I can change the internal modem into a wireless "N". I know I could install a modem to USB port and select that make my connections but USB ports are a bonus and I prefer to do the internal switch.
Is this possible. ? HP makes a modem of replacement in the "N" category for this laptop. ? I searched around and can't seem to find a part to study number.

Don't forget that some 802.11n Intel modems use a configuration triple antenna as well. This means that the replacement of the modem (if Intel) requires a display of both replacement block.
An accurate answer requires better identification of your laptop.
Look at the label with barcode at the bottom of your laptop. After all, there, except the serial number.
Here is a link to the maintenance and Service Guide.
All the information found in the manual. The trick is to know how to use the manual.

I recently bought a Linksys WRT120N router for my existing HP Pavilion dv1000 laptop. I am not able to connect to this router to my laptop.

I get the message - "Please wait so that windows connects to the network, waiting for the network"... After a while the screen goes away; There is no message of success or failure of a current connection. The same wireless connection works my other laptop Toshiba in a jiffy, which means that my router seems to have been implemented correctly. Wireless driver for Pavilion 6258se grew legs and walked away.
Hello everyone,
If someone here could help me I would be very grateful.
I have a Pavilion 6258se which is well enjoy watching me uncomfortable as I try to fix its stupid wireless.
A few months ago, I downloaded something. After you download something, my audio and wireless drivers have disappeared. I managed to restore and get my driver of his return, but wireless was a no-go. The orange/blue light remains orange and wireless cannot be enabled or disabled.
Yesterday, I finally off my lazy buttocks and connected my laptop to a cable outlet and downloaded the latest HP Wireless Assistant on this site. And it worked! But after last night and turn it back on this morning, I am at the beginning with the wireless.
It becomes really frustrating.
I also had the old "battery plugged in, not charging" bit yesterday, but after removing and reinserting the battery, it seems that everything is fine.
If someone could provide me with advice for a PERMANENT solution... it would be wonderful. I refuse to take this laptop for geek team because they had two weeks once and never even open. Other than we have that small local repair shops who try and rip you off...
Anyway, thanks in advance.
Message edited by shopunke on 01/01/2009 07:20Too bad Geek Squad doesn't know anything about laptops they sell. Your model is listed on the list of "known of hardware failures" and qualified free repair.

Can I connect 220V AC voltage directly at HP Pavilion 8766C?
Hello!
I live in Greece and I would like to know if I can connect directly to a Pavilion 8766C 220V AC.
Thanks in advance!
Take a read of this section on the power supply. First of all, you should make sure that the voltage selector is 220 VAC.
Once you take care of it, so it's no problem using 220 VAC.

My mother friends have a laptop HP Pavilion g7-2269wm and she dislikes W8 so she bought W7 and put it on. However it can not find the drivers for it, so I did some research and found the drivers for everything but the network controller and wireless.
I need to know what driver to download or indeed what the wireless card was in place, so I can get the correct driver. This is for W7 64 bit.
Thank you

How can I update my driver of wireless atheros 5007 (Pavilion dv6700Z CTO)?
The laptop was originally Vista had updates to Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit without problems. Now, I do the free update to win 10 and the driver for the card has problems, as is the LAN NVidia driver for this laptop. Where can I get the update drivers to use Win 10?
Unfortunately, the Atheros AR5007 wireless card is liosted as not compatible Windows 10 Hardware Compatility list.
See the Microsoft web page at the following address
The simplest solution is to buy a usb wireless adapter compatible to Windows 10 to be used as a workaround.
Use the Microsoft web page that I linked to a place to check the compatibility with Windows 10 before you buy a usb adapter.

connection to a monitor touchscreen at the Pavilion 17 e - 137cl
I would use the ability to touch screen on when I have an external screen connected with this ability (Acer T232HL). He updated Windows 8.1 but I can't find a way to initiate stylus and touch to the outdoor screen. Is this possible?
Connect the usb cable the screen provided with between the port at the back of the screen and your laptop.
After you do this, Windows should recognize the device and install the appropriate on its own drivers.
