HP Officejet 4620: The buttons on my control panel do not work

So I bought my printer used from a friend, he has been working well, but I had some problems:

1. the buttons on the control panel have not worked

2. I'll make a message pop up on the screen that says "infringement or used (s), the original HP of ink in one or more.." and I can't read the rest of the message because I have to scroll down, but the buttons do not work.

I tried to look in the user manual, but I did find something that can help me.  I am a student and need to use my printer almost every day so it was very stressful. Any help would be wonderful!

Hello @Ellie33,

Thank you for writing back.

Glad to know that you fixed the ink of related issues. If you still encounter display problems, it could be more likely a hardware failure with the machine.

I would contact HP tech support to create a service if the printer is under warranty. Alternatively, you can call technical support so that the good options to upgrade, you can benefit if your printer is already out of warranty.

You can visit http://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp and fill in the details of your product to get the tech support number.

If you have trouble, let me know and I'll do my best to help.

See you soon

    3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

    Remote procedure call (RPC) is a part of Windows programs, which is "an interprocess communication technique that allows the software client and server to communicate." CPP is designed to provide a common interface between applications, making it easy for programs to communicate with the servers.

    Hello

    There is a possibility that it is Adware.

    Read this information about it:

    Try this.

  • Options of the control panel do not work

    I need serious computer help. My problems started when a dvd that played without any problem has stopped working. It is said that this dvd is not allowed to read in this region. Since then, several things happened. System Restore, backup, and recovery are not at all when I click on them. Firewall Windows did the same thing. My system is empty and I can't restore it to am earlier version as they are empty as well. Also does not respond within Control Panel: Windows update center maintenance, system, Power Options, back up and restore.

    I have run tests antivirus, malware, spyware, registry and memory, but no problems are detected.

    I use a computer dell laptop with factory installed windows 7 Home premium (no recovery disk or installation) and safety of webroot.

    Suggestions?

    Jamie

    Hello Jamie75,

    Run a System File Checker to see if you have corrupted system files.

    Click Start
    Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
    At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

    This will check for any violation of the integrity and repair any damaged operating system files.

    Restart your system

    Now run the command chkdsk:
    1 disable any security software before you attempt to upgrade or do a clean install.
    2. make sure that your computer is updated (devices and applications)
    3. disconnect all external devices before installing.
    4. check your hard disk for errors:
    Click Start
    Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
    At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r
    When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    Then see if you still have problems with your system.

    Thank you

  • Control Panel does not work correctly.

    original title: salvation

    Hello

    My Control Panel in windows vista 64 bit does not work correctly, when I want to use functions such as catering or to uninstall a program or changing the State of account it just an error message like missing a file on each of them has its own error message, is it possible that I can restore the control panel to its previous state I tried windows restore, but it doesn't work.

    Hello

    Run the sfc/scannow command.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally madeprograms,Accessories, right-clickguest, and then clickrun as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

      The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions

    If SFC detects the main problems it can't fix you may need to borrow a Microsoft dvd vista not an acer, HP etc. recovery disk and do a repair installation

    read the below tutorial on how to perform a repair installation

  • My Control Panel does not work

    I bought a pc from Cyberpower pc a few years back and all the time I have owned it it would freeze

    over and over again. He was crashed a few times Ive had a lot of people and not only able remedy.

    My computer crashed again so I reinstalled Vista 32 bit with the repair and recovery disc that they sent with the computer (not even a drive vista real.) And now I don't have the control panel. The first time I opened the Panel, he said that some .dll in the System 32 files didn't install correctly and that he had a bad image or something. The disc is the key to the above software either (he was on the case of computers before I went and my dad threw it) so I can't validate unless the one on my Microsoft Word is the same one that had my computer.

    Is their a fix? And could buy a new version of windows may stop my computer from freezing up every ten minutes?

    You have a strange message:

    " (it was on the case of computers before I went and my father he threw)" "

    You cannot use a computer recovery discs toinstall Vista on another computer.

    If Vista is preinstalled on your computer, or you purchased an OEM/license disk, they are both classified as an OEM license and are not transferable.

    The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.

    You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If you actually try to reinstall Vista on the original computer:
    Product key Microsoft Word not to activate Vista.
    If you have a version of Vista newly installed and not activated and you threw the product key now, we can not help you.
    Normally, the recovery discs are not necessary the process Re-Activation/product key.
    And if she keeps freezing, it may also be a hardware problem.
    Contact the manufacturer.
    See you soon.
  • The buttons on my horizontal menu do not work.
    I created my first website. Whenever I saw the site, horizontal buttons fail the menu widget. I can't understand what the problem is. This worked for me once, but then I was moving some elements and it didn't work again. Thoughts?
    Please provide the URL.
    The problem is that I had previously suspected. The menu items are not clickable, because they are covered by a div (an empty rectangle, etc.), and if that is deleted, the menu items work very well. Check out this short video I created for you: http://jingsite.businesscatalyst.com/jing/2013-09-30_2259.swf
    It's not fair to Hotmail as your header States.
    Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > drivers download Section > then key in your computer model number > find your operating system > find two graphics / video or from the Chipset drivers and download and install.
    If you go to Device Manager, what is the error on the audio device?
  • Windows Control Panel has stopped working and cannot read the CD
    Original title: windows control panel has stopped working
    When I went to install my Rosetta Stone program it showed Windows has stopped working and then installed the program and when I put the cd in my computer saids windows control panel has stopped working and cannot read the cd
    Hello
    You say "Control Panel has stopped working" or "Windows Explorer has stopped working"?
    Follow the steps mentioned in the article below and check if that helps:
    Start the computer in a clean boot state
    Start your computer in a clean boot state, and check if your computer is able to read the CD. Start your computer in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.
    See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.
