HP Officejet 4630: Email address

I created my eprint and the printer gave me an email address. When I register for their account in the snapshot of ink, it displays a different email address of the printer. I try to change in Hp connected, it gives me an error message. Any ideas on how to get the same email addresses?

Hey @icehckylvr,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I hope you enjoy your stay here.

I understand that you are trying to register for instant ink and the email address listed on your Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer is not the same as figure on the printer email address. I can help you with that.

If for the printer email addresses do not match that means one of three things happening:

  1. The printer is not the same physical printer which was originally setup for ePrint.
  2. The associated connected HP account email address isn't used email address initially.
  3. The printer has been reset or had removed from web services.

Any case, it's what happens there are two ways to solve this problem: find the e-mail address associated with the original account HP connected or remove and enable Web Services on the printer.

If you decide to find the email associated with the original account, then you will find the account yourself, with no assistance from HP Cloud Services. Unless you already have an instant account ink HP Cloud Services have no way to be able to help find the original HP connected account.

If you decide to remove and enable Web Services, then:

  1. On the printer, click web services icon that looks like a tablet with a phone beside her.
  2. Click on the button "-" next to settings.
  3. Scroll to delete Web Services and press OK.
  4. From the main screen click the icon of web services again.
  5. Click on I accept and click on Yes.
  6. The printer prints a page with a new claim code, which you can use to add the printer for the current connected HP account.

Please let me know if it solves your problem. If you have any other questions, let me know and I will be able to help you further.

I hope that this helps the inscription to instant ink and I hope you have a wonderful evening!

  • Failed to get printer email address on Officejet Pro 8500 a A910a

    Hi HP Support!

I would like to know how I can get the e-mail address of my printer? My printer model is HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910a. Here's my current installation of the printer:

    1. I've already updated its firmware to include the eprint service.
    2. My printer is already connected to the internet via the wireless network connection.
    3. I am able to print documents using the wireless printing functionality.

Everything is already OK, except that I can't use the print feature Email Address. Whenever I click the button, it says 'the printer could not connect to the server' (note that I have already activated my Web Services printer). He also says that I need a parameter to connect to the printer of proxy server.

That's my problem. I already looked for my proxy and there is none. I tried to watch using my Firefox browser and the browser I.E via internet options. I even googled 'what is my proxy setting' and the result says 'no proxy server detected' just my IP address.

Please help me with this. Thank you!

    Hello

The steps below a usually resolve the problem you are experiencing:

    1. unplug the power cord at the back of the printer.

    2. unplug the power cord at the back of your router (and the modem, if they are separated from the router).

    3. wait 20 seconds, then plug the router (and the modem, if necessary) in.

    4. wait for 30 seconds, then plug the printer back and power.

    5. press the button on the front of the printer ePrint, and it should try to connect to Web Services again.

These steps usually fix the problem, but if it persists, you can try definition of network information static for the printer (which is sometimes useful to stabilize the ability of the printer to get outside of your network to the internet):

    1. tap the wireless at the top of the screen of the printer and note the IP address.

    2. Enter the IP address in the address bar of a web browser on a computer and press on enter or click the go button browser.

    3. the printer status page must be open.  Click network in the upper part.

    4. click on networking on the left.

    5. Select the Proxy settings.
Note: If you are prompted for a redirect, click OK.  If you receive a certificate warning, select the option that allows you to continue anyway.
If you receive an internal system error, refresh the page until it loads the proxy settings.

    6. check that all fields are empty.  If they are not, make them disappear and make sure that the Proxy Server requires authentication is unchecked and click on apply.  You should get a success message.

    7. click on the network address (IP) on the left.
Note: If you only configuring IP address and DNS address with a yellow note Configuration, refresh the page until it loads completely.

    8. leave automatic IP IP address Configuration.

9 change the DNS address to the manual DNS Server Configuration.

    10. enter manual for the manual preferred DNS Server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for auxiliary DNS.

  • HP Officejet 4630: Scan to Email HP Officejet 4630

    Hello world

I come short in my research.  How can I scan to email with this printer?  I could with an older HP printer.  Have they removed that feature?  It would be embarrassing if they did.  He had these incredible reviews, I didn't have an inventory of all individual features.  Shame on me for that I guess (unless I'm out of luck!).  The only option that I see when I hit on the printer, scan button is to scan directly to a computer.

    Thank you!

    Hi @bmbell3030,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand you want to be able to scan to e-mail on your HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer. I will definitely do my best to help you.

I checked the options on the HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer and doesn't have the ability to scan to e-mail.

How to change or remove entries of e-mail addresses in the address book "Scan to Email" on my more than 8600 Officejet Pro?

I made a mistake with an entry and for the life of me I can't figure out how to edit or delete.  I spent half the morning reading your forum trying to figure out but can't manage it.

Its the 'Officejet Pro more than 8600"- PN CM750A

Computer using the windows 7 proffesional

I need instructions step by step please

I tried to enter scan Assistant to e-mail but which only shows the email (my email address)

I tried to do something that was suggested to someone else with the same problem, using the IP as a search, but saw where to go once I had sought it?

I'd appreciate it really if anyone has the time to help me, has soon

I think they were referencing with the IP address is the following.

Open a browser and type the address in the address box and press on enter.

This will bring you to the EWS (embedded Web server) to the printer. There should be tabs at the top, one of them is "Scan."

Select scan, then you should see a few options for "Scan to Email" and it should allow you to change the settings for address book from there.

Let me know if that helps!

  • HP Officejet 8620: How to use the email address (ePrint) of your old HP printer for your HP printer?

    Hello

I bought a new HP printer and I want it to use email ePrint of the HP printer, it replaced.  How can I do this?

I have connected on HP and I saw my old printer and the new printer device.  I removed the old printer and tried to use the same email address, but he said he was caught.

    Thank you very much

    Peter

    Hello Peter,.
I'm sorry to inform you, that this is not possible. A specific ePrint address cannot be assigned to different devices... Your old address can not be used on any other device.

You can select a different unique email address for your new printer.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a: E Print email address

    Hello

Don't know if anyone can help. My 8600 has had a problem which was under warranty so I call HP just reset my printer that tell me to try it. Unknown to me my eprint information was wiped out too. Before I had time to put things up once again the problem came back and so I rang again HP who sent me to a different printer. I changed the printer and tried to set up eprint, which he gave me a new eprint email address. I tried to put my old email address in, but he said that he had been taken (Yes by me). I looked in help, but having said that you will need to print the code of the old printer to move it to a new.  After putting all the bits in the old printer it says that my original settings for eprint had been cleaned, I guess it was when I did the reset. Now how to get back my original email.

Any help will be much appreciated.

    @Biggleswick

I'm sorry, you've been around the block on this several times - and it is good that you now have a printer that works.

The bad news: the algorithms (code) used by the email ePrint software do not re - use your new ePrint email address - even if it's your own e-mail address.

You must assign a new ePrint email address whenever you need to reset your ePrint for some reason email address if it's your fault that the custom address has been lost / reset / manhandled.

Perhaps this restriction will be modified in the future... It is hoped for that to be the case.  Grumble, grumble, book the mouse on the desktop...

I'm putting up web services if I can sign up for snapshot of ink. Been trying for a week, tried to chat with 4 representatives various hp and keep getting moved from one Department to another. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi @KSNC

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I assume you get a connection error message when you try to enable web services on your printer Officejet 4630.

I also assume that the printer is connected to your wireless network.

Please define Manual of the printer an IP address manually and DNS servers. I've included a link to another post which has measurements, including the screenshots on how to do it.

Once you have enabled web services, you should get the information sheet of Web Services with the claim of the printer code. If you wish you can then set up a Custom Email address for HP ePrint.

If you live in the United States, the United Kingdom, the France or the Germany you can now sign up for the service of HP Ink . For reference, I have included the document Getting Started with HP Instant Ink located at the instant of ink Product Support page.

I fixed the email address to hpconnected.com with the appropriate claim code (4598edne25uvy), I changed the email to [personal information deleted]

    Hello @db53,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you have the wrong printer on your Google Cloud Print account.

    I would like to help.

If you goto Google.com/cloudprint, then select printers in the left column, you can choose to delete the printer.

That it will take off your Google Cloud Print account.

You may also select the option "Add printer ready cloud" again.

This time, when you add the printer, use the address custom connected HP ePrint.

I'm not sure about the Gmail app, which may have to be processed by the Publisher app.

With luck it will be fixed when you remove the 6700 account.

  • OfficeJet 4630: Officejet 4630 scans to Chromebook

    Hello

I just bought an Officejet 4630, mainly to use with my Chromebook (Toshiba)

However, when I want to scan documents to my Chromebook, he asks if the software is loaded onto the Chromebook, but I don't know how to load it on?

Also, how I load the scanning software for my Android Tablet (running Lollipop) and Tablet (running KitKat)?

    Hi @ UpperSydenham

    Welcome to the HP Forum,

If I understand correctly, you have a problem with scanning and software necessary. The first hurdle is with the software.

Unfortunately the software cannot be installed on the operating system Chrome, and can say the same on Android devices. I'm sorry this response seems dark, but all is not lost.

I wish to address first android devices.

Yes, they are unable to install the software, but they can install applications (yeay)

HP has created the all-in - one remote for android devices. It is free and is located in the Google Playstore on both devices. (Android version 4.0 and later)

You will still not be able to scan from the front panel of your 4630, but load the document in the feeder or place it on the glass as if your were going to analyze this way. Once the document is in places open all-in-one remote printer application.

The first time you do this, you may need to select your printer. Once this is done, you will see several options, and one that will save the day is scan. Touch and it will scan the document to your tablet. make the necessary modifications, and then save the document or photo.  If you encounter any "hiccups" with it please let me know.

Now for the book of chrome.

Bottom line: Chromebooks do not support drivers and printers were not initially designed to work with this particular operating system. It has Webscan. WEBSCAN can have unpredictable results, because it has not been designed with Chromebooks in mind. Scanning from the chromebook is not supported.

The following steps work on a MAC or PC and may not work with the Chromebook, but it's worth a try.

    1. tap wireless to the printer and take note of the IP address.

    2. open a new browser on the chromebook

    3. in the address bar type the printers ip address and press on enter (return, go, ect...)

If everything goes as planned you will reach the printers EWS (built-in web server). If you don't let me please know we will have to go through some basic network breakdowns.

    4. once in the SAP, you will be on the home tab, you will see others. Click on the tab labeled Scan

    It's the Webscan.

If you get a message about it is off, click or tap on the settings tab.

now touch Security (left column) Please do not get tempted with the section that says password

I met nothing but misery of pain when a password is added to the printer.

Then tap Settings administrator, you will now see a small box to the left to check so that webscan can be activated.

Select the check box, and then click on apply.

5 adjust the settings and click or press scan at the bottom of the page. Once you see the image on the right, save it. (This is the part that sometimes does not work well on the Chrome OS)

What I would do, is use the AIO (all-in - One Printer Remote). It has the ability to share the digitized item. What I suggest is your email. Once the item is in your email, you can easily access it from the Chromebook.

If you have any questions, issues or problems, feel free to contact me.

  • HP Officejet 4630 all-in-one printer print cancels in the workplace

    Hello

I recently bought a HP Officejet 4630 all-in-one printer, and it automatically cancels the work in the middle of printing. The computer I use is a dv7 HP Envy with 64-bit Windows 8, and I print on a wireless network connection. My computer receives an error that HP Officejet 4630 series could not perform printing and the printer just says Cancel. I tried all the steps in the sections troubleshooting, both printing and network connections problems. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times, I created a manual IP address and everything, but nothing seems to work. It seems also that the issue when using HP ePrint. It occurs in all sorts of programs and formats such as word, pdf and html. Unfortunately, I did not receive a USB cord, I can't see if that will fix the problem at all. I hope someone can help me with this, otherwise, it is obvious that there is a problem with the actual printer, I have had and I have to return something else.

    Thank you

This is how I fixed it:

    1. Find out what IP address, is that your printer uses.
    2. Go to control panel, then click "View devices and printers."
    3. Look for your printer right click.
    4. Click on "Printer properties" and a new screen opens.
    5. Along the top, you will see some tabs. Click on the one that says "Ports".
    6. Click on 'Add Port '.
    7. Highlight "Standard TCP/IP Port" by clicking on it, then click "New Port".  A new screen opens.
    8. Click "next".
    9. Type the IP address of your printer, and then click "next".

Your computer should find your printer.

Click 'Apply' and your printer should work fine.

  • OfficeJet 4630: brand new officejet 4630 with the problem of black ink and ok button does not work

Hello! Today, I bought a new printer, officejet 4630 and it included ink cartridges in the box.

ISET it upward as the sheet in the box said. After I had filled in date etc, I put in the ink (and Yes, remember to check it was compatible and take the Ribbon), then this message showed on the screen and still doesn't work:

"Problem of ink cartridges. The following ink cartridges need to be replaced"and a black dot.

The cartridges were brand new and came in the same area as the printer.

I tried a reset (taking the power cord, wait 60 s etc) I saw in the Hp support you need to press 'ok' to get rid of the message before restarting. I can't press ok. It sounds right. I press any button.

Suggestions? Of course, I can try it with a new cartridge, but to pay $20 for a new cartridge, when it was included in the box and should work is not correct.

I talked to a technician and solve the problem.  For some reason any scanning HP app was not showing in the Mac Applications folder, which it is now. What I don't understand is what OCR really means because I just saved a scanned in the rich TEXT format document and it is editable. It wasn't always the case I think that scanning an image required OCR technology so that it can be modified according to me. So what is the point of the OCR now if it appears as saving an image as a RTF (or other format that I suspect) allows for editing?

    Thank you.

Sorry for the double post and I check this thread as resolved, although I'd love to hear my understanding of confusion OCR addressed.

  • OfficeJet 4630 does not print on the network

My printer print is no longer on a network connection, a USB connection. For example, when I try printer in MS Word, the menu of the printer displays "Unable connect", even though I'm perfectly connected to my printer. I've had this printer for about two months, and it has been the case for at least a month. I ran "HP print and scan doctor, and he tells me that there is a driver conflict, but whenever I reinstalled the driver and all software, he repeats the same error message. I also run the program of "troubleshooting HP Installation failure - network", but to no avail. My PC is connected to my router via an ethernet cable, and my printer is connected to my router via a wireless connection, note that I've never had this problem until recently. All reports that I printed state that there is no problem with the connection or the printer, the signal is excellent. I rebooted my router, I reinstalled, I restored default on my printer.
