  I would like to allow you to print to your Officejet J4580. Please, first run printing HP and doctor Scan and let me know the results. You will see a key, a yellow exclamation point, a red X, or a checkbox then each point tested.

  You know, even if the printer prints fine on a computer, I can't help but feel that the question has something to do with the printer itself. Let me explain; I wonder if when you print from a computer so the settings are grayscale, so 3 colors would be coming together to create a composite black.

  I noticed you're wondering how to initialize the process of your HP Officejet 4500 Windows 7 configuration. I'm happy to discuss this issue for you!

  How do you connect your printer? Wireless, Ethernet or USB?

  First of all, I would make sure that you go through the hardware configuration, as indicated in this guide, setting up hardware for HP Officejet 4500 (G510) all-in-One Printer Series.

  Then, depending on your connection type, select one of the following guides:

  • Download and install printer Windows HP driver and software for a wired (Ethernet) network.
  • Setting up the printer on a wireless network for the HP Officejet 4500 Wireless all-in-One printer.
  • Download and install your driver printer HP Windows and software for a USB cable connection.

• Officejet 6000 printing problems

  My Officejet 6000 will not print. The power and light of the resume light blink - normally, this means that there is a paper jam in which there is not. Or that the rollers need cleaning I did. I also cleaned the cartridges where the ink comes out.

  Also I tried to unplug the printer and try again without success. When the power is connected, the green light - after a few seconds it starts to blink and the printer goes into his routine of cleaning after this stop the Summary button illuminates and flashes also. I'd love to hear if someone has the same situation and managed to solve it!

  Have you removed all paper from the input tray and look in the status bar with a flashlight to make sure nothing is caught in the rollers?

  So, did you remove the module front/back/rear access door to make sure that nothing is stuck to the back of the rolls?

  I also advise to open the upper part of the printer and remove all of the ink provides unit; including the print head.  Don't you see that anything taken under/the print head Assembly all about?

  Hard reset of the printer with the supplies out of the unit:

  Unplug the unit when turned on

  Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly

  * Wait 30 seconds

  * Plug the unit back to

  Once the device is fed up reinstall ink supplies in the printer.  Also check to see if the truck can slide left and right all the way inside the printer by hand.

• HP OfficeJet 6500 E710n: HP OfficeJet 6500 printer problem - connection to new Comcast Wireless Gateway E710n

  Use this printer (wireless) for a few years without problem connected to a Linksys 802.11n wireless router.  Connected to a desktop computer and two laptops.

  Comcast asked recently that I update my modem cable to a new wireless, which also serves as a 802.11n access point wireless router.  I installed the new point wireless very well and has been able to set up the printer on a wireless network. (IP, host name and Mac address doesn't appear on the thin printer).

  I reinstalled the printer drivers on each computer and everything worked very well last weekend.  This weekend, I went to turn the Scanner on the desktop (HP Pavilion, Windows 7, 64-bit) and it wouldn't work.  Then I reinstalled the device drivers and then there was no connection to the printer (many reboots the PC and printer at various times during the tests).  So I ran again the connection settings on the printer - and led wireless term.  (I was able to get the scan to the connection to the computer once on one of the laptops, never the office, then lost.  When I send to the printer, it goes into the queue, a very small number of bytes, cross (usually hear the printer starts) then there lost error "connection to a printer.  Oddly enough, a couple of times after canceling the print job in the queue, the printed test page actually printed a few minutes later...

  I tried to use HP Print & Scan Doctor - it was a complete waste of time.  To date, it has always died (do not connect not not the unit) and never been able to diagnose something.  I end up having to go to the Task Manager to kill him because he always hangs.

  Any thoughts?  I'm puzzled.

  Appreciate any help/ideas that someone can think.

  FYI - I have still no idea what the question is / was?

  Connected to the gateway wireless from Comcast to the old Linksys router and I went back to my old wireless network.  After you have reinstalled the printer drivers, re-connection of the printer to the old wireless network, re-start the printer and computers - I was (finally...) manages to get printing and scanning works again.

  What a waste of a morning/afternoon.

  I have a 4650 printer that will not stay online this is a new printer. I called hp spent 3 hours on the phone with them with no result. I think all over again have no solution. I tried almost everything.  said does not connect to the server only connects for a few when I just reinstall.

  Ty for the solution unfortunately HP tried and it didn't work I have lived two people or one of them could understand it. Waiting in a third party to see if they can help. I think really this trade for a Lexmark never had no problem with this printer. My computer is also a brand new HP all-in-one.

  Are one or more of the color on insufficient ink cartrdiges?  If a color cartridge is low, it will automatically switch black printing only for a limited time as long as ink color is available adequate.  At some point he would block printing to the impoverished cartridge replacement.

  Of course, I've had this printer because he's the Ark, but lately he has decided not to print details.   In the order or the computer to find the printer that you want to start by ensuring that the printer and the computer are on the same network. Here is a support document which can help with that - printer does not maintain the wireless connection.

  Following the steps outlined in the above-mentioned document should be able to help the computer find the printer, then you can complete the installation.

  Please follow: step 3: clean the ADF rollers and separator (optional) buffer.
