The only thing that we rest is to restore the computer. If you can use the scan with scanners and assistant camera or Microsoft paint, then that's what you need to do to move forward. You can try this alternative solution to Scan:
HP extended Scan
FTP://FTP.HP.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi
Once it has downloaded and installed, go to start > all programs > HP > HP Scan extended > Run "HP Scan extended.

HP Officejet 7310xi all in one: printer keeps repeating transport jam
My printer do not print and indicates a carriage jam and told me to open the door and a cart clear jam but there is nothing there, and there is no paper jam. I tried to unplug the machine, its restart, restrting my MAC and the message still flashes. Does anyone have any suggestions. I know this is an old printer, but I love it and want to keep it going. HP Officejet 4630 all-in-one printer print cancels in the workplace

I recently bought a HP Officejet 4630 all-in-one printer, and it automatically cancels the work in the middle of printing. The computer I use is a dv7 HP Envy with 64-bit Windows 8, and I print on a wireless network connection. My computer receives an error that HP Officejet 4630 series could not perform printing and the printer just says Cancel. I tried all the steps in the sections troubleshooting, both printing and network connections problems. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times, I created a manual IP address and everything, but nothing seems to work. It seems also that the issue when using HP ePrint. It occurs in all sorts of programs and formats such as word, pdf and html. Unfortunately, I did not receive a USB cord, I can't see if that will fix the problem at all. I hope someone can help me with this, otherwise, it is obvious that there is a problem with the actual printer, I have had and I have to return something else.

- Find out what IP address, is that your printer uses.
- Go to control panel, then click "View devices and printers."
- Look for your printer right click.
- Click on "Printer properties" and a new screen opens.
- Along the top, you will see some tabs. Click on the one that says "Ports".
- Click on 'Add Port '.
- Highlight "Standard TCP/IP Port" by clicking on it, then click "New Port". A new screen opens.
- Click "next".
- Type the IP address of your printer, and then click "next".
Your computer should find your printer.
Click 'Apply' and your printer should work fine.

Well, if you haven't tried this and then create a coercive power reset:
Do not activate the wide (although you can), remove the power cord at the back of the printer. Wait at least 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Turn on the printer. If that clears up the flashing light/white screen, then try printing etc...
If this is not the case, see if something visible is originally the error state such as paper jam, odd items in the printer, nothing fancy. Also try to plug the printer directly into the wall outlet as opposed to a look/power surge Strip, or even try a Jack in another room if it is not successful.

HP Officejet 5610 all-in-one printer have something that can be attacked by a virus?
I have a "HP Officejet 5610 All in one printer" running Windows XP Home edition (32 bit).
I tried to print a file that I had been sent and the printer began to print very slowly (one line / 5 seconds). At the end of the document, which had been printed was a load of rubbish! The next print was ok and printed at normal speed. BUT now, whenever I try to "Scan" a document using 'Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard', the 'Wizard' can take up to 1/2 hour to load when it is used for the scanner. If used for the camera the Assistant immediately.
I downloaded and installed the latest HP drivers and still have the problem.
Is there something inside the printer [ROM?] that can be attacked or is this a rare case to be an error of 'material' with a four year old unit. It is interesting to try to have it fixed or can I get a new camera? If so, which is recommended for a system of "consumption"? -Many thanks.

THIS HAPPENED MORE THAN A MONTH. I STARTED WITH WINDOWS VISTA. HP SUPPORT ADVISED LATER FOR THIS WINDOWS 7 WORKS BETTER FOR MY PRINTER. WHEN THE HP PRINTER HAS BEEN REINSTALLED, I DON'T KNOW IF IT STARTED WITH ONLY ONE PORT.
