If have just updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and are now facing problems of scanning.

During the scanning of the computer, the ADF (ADF) don't market work.

When the printer scanning the ADF works fine.

The printer/scanner is connectet to the network wireless.

Correct printing.

Hope someone can help so that I can scan computer.

I see that you encounter some problems with the scanning of your Officejet 6500 a Plus e-All-In-One to your PC for Windows 10 after the upgrade. I can help you with that.

First of all, we need to uninstall all software associated with the printer to your system. Once it's done, you can download and install the most recent drivers by clicking on this link.

    Can someone help me get the OfficeJet 6500 has more e710n printer to display correctly in devices and Printers icon?

    I have recently reinstalled Windows 8.1.  However, when I installed my printer, the printer icon in devices and printers, I get a generic Windows yellow folder icon.  The Fax icon is OK, just the printer icon is wrong.

    If I double click the icon, I get a blank page with a message near the top of the page saying: 'information updates are available on your device.  Click here to download or learn more. "If I click on the notice, a drop down menu appears with 'Download update of information' or 'Learn' more.  If I choose Update downloaded information, a new printer window appears which is often empty except for a message in the center of the window that says "no task is available on this page" to learn the most fair option gives me info on the update of drivers.

    The icon of the printer in the start menu is fine.

    I used HP Print and Scan Doctor uninstall and reinstall my printer, but it did not help.  The program finds a problem with the printer driver and the fixed, but that has not changed the icon either.

    I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit fully up to date and used the full version of the HP Installer for the printer (not the basic version) and HP Print and Scan v4.6 doctor.

    Try following these steps and let me know if that can help you:

    1. In the control panel select network and internet, and open network and sharing Center.
    2. Click on change advanced sharing Center.
    3. Make sure the network discovery is trned on but uncheck "turn on automatic configuration of network connected devices.
    4. Devices and printer the printer right click and select remove device, repeat the for the Fax icon.
      Note: If no such option exists for the printer, follow the next steps.
    5. Right-click in the background area and select the Mahager device.
    6. Delete any instance of the printer of imaging devices, Print queues, multifunction, printers, other devices adapters (if such exists).
    7. Once you have completed the printer should no longer appear under devices and printers...
    8. Open the software HP Officejet 6500 E710, select Connect a new printer and check any differnce.

    I have a 6500 office more E710n-z - 2 years now. So far, it has worked without problem. However, I get questions now:

    -When I launched a two faces, the printer is just dying. Screen says printing, printer takes a page and may be a few lines of print and then it just hangs.

    I updated the firmware of the printer to CIP1FN1206AR, updated my pc software of hp to 2012-10-22, Version28.8, do a complete reset via maintenance debugging, no luck

    any suggestions?

    I understand your Officejet 6500 a is not by aligning, or print for you and I have a suggestion to use your troubleshooting steps.

    If these steps do not help, and the alignment is still not completed successfully and you cannot print, you can also try these steps by Bob_Headrick: black ink does not

    If you want to follow through with instructions to Bob, I would recommend only read and carefully.

    If all else fails, I would finally call HP to see what your replacement or options trade can be.

    After a 'Refresh' system, I downloaded and installed the software and divers for my All - In - One 6500 a Plus. The printer installed and is used as a network printer.

    However, the software (solid line) does not the desktop icon. The application will not launch in file HP folder either.

    I'm running Windows 8 and I downloaded the software from the HP site. The application was working before I did a refresh and re-installed software.

    From the desktop, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run window, type services.msc and press to enter.

    Scroll down to the print spooler service, right click and select Properties, then click the Stop button.

    Now search for C:\Windows\System32\Spool\PRINTERS, then delete the work inside this folder - you may need to click a command prompt to get the authority to open the PRINTERS folder.

    Restart the computer and you should find that the document has been deleted.

    Why my hp officejet 6500 has more printer take ten minutes to four pages of fax? No change has been made and no error message. This seems to be an extremely long time for only four pages!

    Firmware has been day t0 then did a hard reset and tested a fax. seems to be faster, but was not a very detailed page. will be able to say when I have more pages to send. If this is no better at this moment, will post back.

    Make sure to remove the installed printer software HP through the control panel > Profgrams and features > uninstall a program.

    OK, so you were talking about requiring the update.  It is difficult to say that all depends on if it came with the new firmware or not.  It is not really relevant, however, because it will be updated as soon as Web Services.  This process takes a few minutes.  There is no computer necessary for the update of the firmware as long as the printer has internet access (which is directly connected to a router via ethernet or wireless).  Yes, a connection ad hoc, you will be able to print from the iPad, but you can use its 3 G connection instead of through your router.  It can only support a single WiFi also.  Go ahead and set up the printer and keep me posted on what happens.

    My Officejet 6500 has more (model CN557A) is connected through the USB port.  My operating system is XP.    I can scan my computer, I can copy and print from the printer control panel, but I can't send anything to print from my computer.  This problem just started about 3 days ago.  I tried troubleshooting but I have not received the case.  I did not add new programs, and I have 194 GB free on my hard drive.

    Can anyone help?

    N ° however, I accidentally discovered the problem.  I had a card reader connected to my computer to download pictures.  Apparently it disrupted the cycle of printing for my printer.  I removed the card reader and the printer works fine now.  Thank you for your response.
