HP Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one printer - H711a/H711g 'Ink system failure', will not print computer

At first, it was just a problem with do not print from the computer.  Error messages had to do with the failure of the print head or do not find print head, etc..  After going through several different controls online, download the scans, etc., it does not at all, print showing an error message "ink system failure".  I tried to remove and reinsert the 4 printheads (black 932, 933 colors) and turning market and check the caps and unplug the power.  Since this is a wireless network, I can't unplug the USB.  It was the OK signal.  Now, with this error message, I don't see the home screen printer controls.  It just says: put it on and then contact HP.  Help, please.  Very frustrated (it didn't happen all at once - a first he wouldn't print from the computer sometimes, other times.)

    Hi jjennylake,

Engine stall pump and ink system failure are two serious error codes.  I'm linking a document troubleshooting for ink system failure.  Click here  The only step that there is to reset the printer which I think you have already done.  You might take a look at the link and see if you did the reset the same way.  If this isn't the case, I recommend to try again following the steps in the link.  It is sometimes useful to remove the ink before disconnecting the power supply and then re-seats after ink printer powers back up.  Let me know how it goes.

    Good luck!

  • Re: How to do a reset on an Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one C155A

I can't use the screen touch because it allways says, missing or doesn't have a printhead with the installation catriages in, and it will not identify new catriages.

    Hello @bk85,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you get the message "Missing or has no print head" on the front panel of your HP Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one printer. I want to offer my help now to resolve this error message. Now, you specify in your message that you get this error message while using the configuration of your printer cartridges. If your printer has never been used before you need to use cartridges Setup to initialize the print head system in your printer. However, if you have used the HP Officejet 6600 in the past with cartridges installation, you can use new cartridges without problem in your machine. In saying this, the print head message you get refers to the part that the cartridges will fit. The printhead "reads" the cartridges and put the ink on the page. If the print head is defective in your printer, new cartridges will not solve this problem. On the contrary, a replacement of the entire unit may be needed as the print head is a non-replaceable element in your printer.

Can I have it please click here to access the troubleshooting step designed to resolve this error message. If the error persists after completing a replacement printer reset would be necessary. If you need a replacement, I highly recommend contact our telephone Support queue to explore the additional hardware options.

I try to get an e HP OfficeJet 6600 network all in one to run on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. I downloaded the package, which is supposed to work on Windows 2008 x 64. The package is called
OJ6600_Basicx64_1315.exe. When I run it it tells me that it is not compatible with my system. I tried to unzip the file (changed the zip extension) but told me that it is not a zip file. Is there a driver for this printer on that server?

    Thank you

I thought about it. I copied the CD to the server and just ran the add printer. Installed just fine.

  • HP Officejet 4635 e-all-in-one printer prints multi-page document

Hello, I have a HP Officejet 4635 e-all-in-one printer and can't print a multiple page document. The printer will print all except the two or three first pages, stopping in the middle of the last page it is printing, and then ejected from the page, usually with the third print top. At this point, I get an error message on my computer screen that says: "cannot print from xxxxdocument. I can go back into the print menu and select the pages that are not print and manually fill the work, but which requires sometimes two or three attempts, that the printer stops again impression after two or three pages.

My operating system is Windows 8, the printer is connected to my wireless router which is on the same floor, the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet. I met this problem until print 28.0 Firefox, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. The documents included diagrams, sheets of computing, graphics and text. Oddly enough, I think I'm able to print several pages (of least until 4 on my last attempt) of Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

I have no page unique impression of difficulties from the browser or any installed program and am able to print from my devices android as well, although I still have to try multiple pages printing app. The problem seems to occur more often if I try to print more than two pages.

I searched on the Web site, looked through the installation of printer troubleshooting, including the instructions under "step 3: If your printer is connected to your wireless router, but you can't print (or scan). Nothing I've tried has helped him.

I wish I had a solution to this problem.

    Thank you very much.

  • Problem with the HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one printing. Ink system failure could not copy-

I'm having a problem on my HP Photosmart C7280 all-in-one printing. The following message appears, this is what came on the screen of the printer: ink system failure has not not able to copy, receive faxes or print. Refer to the documentation for the printer error O.cl9a0007.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey Spider! First of all welcome on the forum.

I recommend to remove all ink cartridges, disconnect the USB cable from the computer that connects to the printer and then turn off the printer completely by unplugging the power cord. Then, restart your computer. Turn on the printer but leave that he disconnected from the computer. After that he ended his power over the cycle forward and reinsert the ink cartridges in the printer and make sure their seat correctly.

After you have all the cartridges in the printer correctly, then connect it to the computer. See if that fixes the problem. If not post back with no results.

    Thank you

  • Cannot get the HP Solution Center to load for officejet pro L7590 all-in-one printer

Unable to get the HP Solution Center to load. Have an officejet pro L7590 all-in-one connected wireless (through the router) on my new computer Windows 8 but had to deceive it calling it a direct connection.

I have a new computer with Windows 8.  I managed to get my HP officejet pro all-in-one L7590 printer connected and working with software downloaded from HP.  During installation it placed an icon on my desktop (the old format disktop I love) to the center of HP solutions, but when I try to open the Solution Center a message indicates that the installation is not complete.  When I try to install more software it brings back me to the orginal installation and indicates that the device is already installed.

I want to clarify again once my choice of installation was directly connected even if it is wireless via a router.  It was the only way I could make it work.

The Network Configuration page was just that you will find the IP address, but you have this.  It is not as important now.  Now that I've shown you a method to help you analyze let us begin the process is not easy to get the Solution Center works again.

I was very happy to find an official document on your computer Windows 8 and the solution Center.  I think this should help you when you select your operating system on this page.  It is titled "The scanning device estintrouvable and other related errors" and will be a little better explain what you need to try to get the Solution Center to work once again, I am.

Let me know if you have any questions concerning one of the steps here and I will do my best to answer those as quickly as possible. I do not know a few things to do if it does not, but it is certainly the best advice to try first.

  • HP Officejet Pro L7590 all-in-one printer (prints half of the pages & gibberish)

My HP Officejet Pro L7590 1.5 year, all-in-one has decided he wants to print a half pages & then gibberish or page 1 of a document of several pages & then turn the remaining blanks pages or gibberish.  It started about 3 weeks after a Windows Update (I do not push this update because this may just be a coincidence).  I rolled power computer & printer. I also made sure to have the most current printer driver.  I have uninstalled & reinstalled the unit 3 times now.  I checked the settings of the queue as well.  Initially, the problem seems to happen when I rolled up a job to the printer and then closed the application or document that I wanted to print by going to work on something else (like I always did).  Now, it happens whenever he wants to.  I then delete the pending print job & power cycle sometimes even the printer to act again on the right.  I'm pretty tech savvy - I do IT for our office, unless it is over my head.  What can you try me & this problem?

If it happens again I suggest to reset the spooler via the command console and then try printing again.

    Start > run > command

    net stop Spooler
    net start Spooler

  • E-all-in-one printer, HP Officejet 5742: e-all-in-one printer, HP Officejet 5742 range

When you scan a document with the printer Officejet-5742, I had a 'tick box' selectable if I wanted to scan both sides of a page. The process was not automatic, after scanning one side of a (or multiple pages) a window opens asking the user to delete the pages, turn them and put them in the feeder. By clicking on the button "OK" in the window of the program would continue to analyze the other side of the pages and, if several pages, organize the scans in the correct order

Today (16 August 04) I installed the last 'Full Software', as requested by the HP software. There is now no option scan side 2. I contacted HP support by phone (Ref: 3030910759) and said ultimately this model does a face scan. I said it was 2 sides the morning but not update. They don't have to give me some help so I said I would try a different approach.

I can make 2 sides by selecting 'Add' page but that is not as simple as selecting a checkbox and is not effective if make a stack of pages.

    Any ideas?

  • How to do a reset on an Officejet 6600 e-all-in-one C155A

I want to get back to the original printer "in the zone" State, because I have problems with it to connect to internet and much more.  I would like to start from scratch.  I want to forget whatever it is she knows and erase the memory, etc.

    Thank you

    If it's important, I'm on Mac OS X 10.8.2

    Hello

    This is from the Manual:

Reset the printer to its factory default settings erases all settings of the memory of the printer to your network. This must be done as a last resort when troubleshooting the printer.
In addition, the reset of the printer to its factory default settings erases the embedded Web server (EWS) administrator password.
Reset the printer to its factory default settings may require you to reinstall the printer software. In addition, you will need to reconfigure the security settings of the printer.
Follow these steps to reset the printer to factory default settings:
    1. check that the printer is on.
    2. press and hold down the button to report Page.
3 while holding down three times the homepage button, press the Cancel button.
    4. release the report Page button.

Hope this helps and Merry Christmas.

  • HP Officejet 4630 e-all-in-one printer problem

I installed all the software and ran all the tests and pass all areas. Test print comes out very well. But when I try to send something to the printer, nothing happens, the printer just sits there. Anyone know what could be the problem?

I still don't believe it, but I took a chance and pulled the USB out and then plugged in. It worked.

  • OfficeJet 6600 e-all-in-one: Wireless connectivity with the new router problem

We had the printer since 12 months, workin with no problems.

Just got a new modem/router (NETGEAR V7610) installed as part of the NBN implementation and I can't get the printer to connect to the new router. 5 and 2.4 G active networks. The two defined newtorks on security WPA2-PSK [AES].

The printer detects the wireless (2. 4 g) network, but can't coplete the connection. Tried the two direct input the network key and using WMA.

-The display panel shows "wireless invalid password (WPA) is entered.

-The results of network printer test page indicates a FAILURE on safety.

I was able to connect to multiple other devices (laptop, iphone, Kindle...) without any problem. Used the two direct entry of the key network and WMA.

    Anything else I can try?

Find a new update of the firmware for the printer (May 9, 2016).

After you apply the update, the printer is able to connect to the new modem.
