HP Officejet 7310: Installation with Windows 10 HP7310

I just installed my HP7310 on a new computer running Windows 10, using the in all download a driver.  He is shown as a single device-' hp73300 series fax '-rather than two "-hp7300 of the series and 'fax of the hp7300 series' as previously.  I can't put it to print by default, he always wants to fax while I can print if I'm going the long way by selecting the printer each time.  How do I:

(a) set the default printing function, or

(b) uninstall the fax service as I do not use it

Hi @Chris-bovey

Thanks for the comments.

Have you tried Control Panel > hardware and audio > devices and printers > right click on your printer and select "Set as default" and choose the NON-TELECOPIEUR HP Officejet 7310?  (this option was available?)

Here is a sample photo:

Spoiler (Highlight to read)

Is there another driver, or a way to customize the pilot give features of the printer/copier/scanner, but exclude the fax feature?

  • LaserJet P1102w: Laserjet P1102w cannot activate the installation with Windows Vista 32 bit PC computer wireless

Hello forum HP, I can use the Laserjet P1102w with USB connection on 3 different devices including a portable Apple and PC Windows Vista and Windows 7 laptop computer, but can not perform a wireless installation with the broadband internet connected wireless PC running Windows Vista 32 bit. The main message is that the computer does not find the printer even when using the USB connection. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @Kaiser3107,

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

I understand that you have a HP LaserJet Pro P1102w printer that connects three thin devices via the USB port, but you can not perform a wireless installation on a fourth device, equipped of Windows Vista 32-bit, because the PC does not detect the printer via the USB port. I would like to help with that.

Here is a support document which includes 'USB device is not detected by Windows' which can help the issue of detection - Troubleshooting (Windows Vista) USB connections.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.

In fact, if it helps you to find a solution, please click on the 'accept as Solution' and the 'thumbs up' buttons down below in this message.

  • HP Photosmart C7280 all in one installation with windows 8.1 problems

    Hello

I have a HP Photosmart C7280 all in one printer which worked very well on wifi with Windows 8. A few days ago I got the prompt to upgrade to 8.1. Subsequently the printer would not work and I got prompt/warning message to re - install the printer software. And I went to the control panel and deleted all the old HP software, tried to re - install the last being on the HP site... nothing will do.

I tried to do a number of ways - manual download, download the HP software that determines what software is required, then it downloads for you...

It seems to start unpacking all right, but then gets stuck on "Checking system" and never progresses to something else. Help!

    Hello Cam77,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I see that you're having trouble installing your Photosmart C7280 printer after upgrading your computer to Windows 8.1.

I have included the Windows 8: the progress bar on the Software Installation stops or stalls document. It will guide you in the steps to get the installed printer.

Please let me know if you are having difficulties while doing the above. If you do, please let me know at what stage things are ugly and said error messages. Please also indicate how you have the connected printer (USB cable, ethernet or wireless). Thank you.

  • Programs it installs with Windows 7

I got a new computer with Windows 7 already installed. It will let me install other programs, such as Skype, kodak easyshare or registry mechanic. I returned to the 3rd party programs, and they assure me that it's all compatible and suggested things to try, but so far, nothing does.

    Hello kmartin898,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

I suggest that you try to use the Microsoft Installer Cleanup utility. Click here to download it.

You can use the utility to remove installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. Remember that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility does not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall on.

Now, try again to install the programs that did not exist.

If please reply back and let us know if this helped get now the programs installed successfully.

    Sincerely, Marilyn

Dear friends of window , have bought a new laptop with windows 8. Have traid for install my standard Kaspersky Pure software on windows 8, but he failed.

    Thanks, Pieter Laarman

Windows 8 has its own protection in the form of Windows Defender, which is a version of Microsoft Security Essentials.

There is no need to install a 3rd antivirus protection solution part, and you shouldn't try it unless you know that your version is officially authorized for use with Windows 8...

I can't install the printer with the Windows XP installation disc

    Hello jschembri,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

Regarding your request to install the L7680 on Windows 8, I have the solution. Given that the CD is not compatible Windows 8 you can install with this download: HP Officejet Pro Full Feature software and driver.

This will be just the installer similar from the CD, only specific to WIndows 8.

  • OBIEE11g Installation with Windows 2008

    Hey,.

I intend to OBIEE 11.1.1.5-* 64 * in a server with this configuration:

OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
    Installed memory RAM: 24 GB
    System type: 64-bit operating system
    Java: jdk 1.7.0
    DB: Sql 2005

I read it is possible to install the OBI 11 g with this configuration, but also it has not confirmed Administration BI tools in 64-bit, can someone confirm that please? If this is the case, what is the procedure suggested to install everything 64-bit, with the exception of Directors BI tools? Also, which type of installation I'll take? I read all the Simple options, Standard and configuration. Thank you much for the help.

    Kind regards
    RG

    RG,

Your specifications for WIndows 2008 64 bit good machine look. I would double check the JDK and stick to the version of JDK 1.6 to stay in compliance. You should always check each component of your server complies with the matrix of product certification of the Oracle that you want to install.

Regarding the Oracle BI 11 g Admin tool running on a windows 64-bit machine, it is possible. The only thing you have to watch out is that when you create a connection ODBC system DSNS on a server Oracle BI remote that you use the correct driver like Win 2008 64 bit allows a distinction and a console that is different to handle 32-bit drivers / 64-bit.
