HP Officejet 7310xi all in one: printer keeps repeating transport jam
My printer do not print and indicates a carriage jam and told me to open the door and a cart clear jam but there is nothing there, and there is no paper jam. I tried to unplug the machine, its restart, restrting my MAC and the message still flashes. Does anyone have any suggestions. I know this is an old printer, but I love it and want to keep it going. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

There is no hard drive in the Officejet 7310xi. Verify that no memory card is inserted in the memory locations in the lower right front side of the machine.
After a recent update of Windows 10, my printer has stopped working. The message is that there is no driver. I tried to download the software from the website of HP and installation, but nothing changes. Copy and scan from the printer functions still work, but I can't print anything my file or on the Web.

I recently bought a HP Officejet 4630 all-in-one printer, and it automatically cancels the work in the middle of printing. The computer I use is a dv7 HP Envy with 64-bit Windows 8, and I print on a wireless network connection. My computer receives an error that HP Officejet 4630 series could not perform printing and the printer just says Cancel. I tried all the steps in the sections troubleshooting, both printing and network connections problems. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times, I created a manual IP address and everything, but nothing seems to work. It seems also that the issue when using HP ePrint. It occurs in all sorts of programs and formats such as word, pdf and html. Unfortunately, I did not receive a USB cord, I can't see if that will fix the problem at all. I hope someone can help me with this, otherwise, it is obvious that there is a problem with the actual printer, I have had and I have to return something else.
This is how I fixed it:
- Find out what IP address, is that your printer uses.
- Go to control panel, then click "View devices and printers."
- Look for your printer right click.
- Click on "Printer properties" and a new screen opens.
- Along the top, you will see some tabs. Click on the one that says "Ports".
- Click on 'Add Port '.
- Highlight "Standard TCP/IP Port" by clicking on it, then click "New Port". A new screen opens.
- Click "next".
- Type the IP address of your printer, and then click "next".
Your computer should find your printer.
Click 'Apply' and your printer should work fine.
I have a HP officejet J6480 all-in-one printer. The screen is blank and there is this little yellow light flashes on the Cancel button. I can not print or fax anything because the screen is empty. Well, if you haven't tried this and then create a coercive power reset:
Do not activate the wide (although you can), remove the power cord at the back of the printer. Wait at least 30 seconds, then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Turn on the printer. If that clears up the flashing light/white screen, then try printing etc...
If this is not the case, see if something visible is originally the error state such as paper jam, odd items in the printer, nothing fancy. Also try to plug the printer directly into the wall outlet as opposed to a look/power surge Strip, or even try a Jack in another room if it is not successful.
I have a "HP Officejet 5610 All in one printer" running Windows XP Home edition (32 bit).
I tried to print a file that I had been sent and the printer began to print very slowly (one line / 5 seconds). At the end of the document, which had been printed was a load of rubbish! The next print was ok and printed at normal speed. BUT now, whenever I try to "Scan" a document using 'Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard', the 'Wizard' can take up to 1/2 hour to load when it is used for the scanner. If used for the camera the Assistant immediately.
I downloaded and installed the latest HP drivers and still have the problem.
Is there something inside the printer [ROM?] that can be attacked or is this a rare case to be an error of 'material' with a four year old unit. It is interesting to try to have it fixed or can I get a new camera? If so, which is recommended for a system of "consumption"? -Many thanks.

HP Officejet 6500 all-in - One Printer does not scan for Windows 7 and HP Print and Scan doctor says 'not imaging' & send error message 8, [1.0,-2147221498)] - I reconnected my officejet drivers reinstalled, etc & nothing works. I looked for help & tried repeatedly, & am willing to renounce HP.

You can try this alternative solution to Scan:
HP extended Scan
Once it has downloaded and installed, go to start > all programs > HP > HP Scan extended > Run "HP Scan extended.

The HP Officejet 6210xi is one USB printer, it does not offer nay network connectivitu and along such a is not supported.

THIS HAPPENED MORE THAN A MONTH. I STARTED WITH WINDOWS VISTA. HP SUPPORT ADVISED LATER FOR THIS WINDOWS 7 WORKS BETTER FOR MY PRINTER. I WENT TO THE HP SOLUTION CENTER AND A NOTE SAID THAT THE PRINTER IS DISCONNECTED. I RETURNED AND COPIED MY NETWORK CONFIG. AND THE WIRELESS TEST. EVERYTHING IS RUNNING WELL HUNG OF THE PRINTER. THE DEFAULT PRINTER IN THE RIGHT IMAGE. THE ONLY THING I NOTICED WAS IN THE PORT AREA. UNDER THE WINDOW VISTA, I GOT TWO PORTS. ONE WAS FOR THE PRINTER AND OTHER FAX. I have an Officejet J6450 All in One Printer. I only use the new HP cartridges (not renovated, manual not refilling). I installed a 74XL into the printer about a month with expiration of 02/11/2014. It is still more than 1/2 full and very well printed yesterday. Today, without apparent reason, the printer is saying that the ink cartridge is not supported by my printer... it is evil. I tried a reset (3 and the # and when it does not 6 and the #) unplug him and by plugging it in. I also removed the cartridge and tried both resets and then put it back in and still got the same error message. I cleaned the print heads with a coffee filter and distilled water and tried the reset with unplugging and plugging back. That didn't fix it. Also, I deleted all of the permits from the hard drive and reinstalled the drivers and all updates (which I am automatically in any case, if the printer was already updated yesterday). That didn't fix it. I have tried everything and can't get this stupid to work printer. I spent hours and hours on this. I put in a new cartridge and it seems to work now, but I don't want to lose more than 1/2 full cartridge with no recourse. I am a mother of 6 and the ink is very, very expensive, and what happens if this happens again? Someone at - it ideas? Any help would be appreciated.
Sounds like the cartridge has failed, because its guarantee until 2014 I would contact HP telephone support. Can you please let us know how you get on?
After running a HP Officejet 4500 All - in - One Printer - G510g two an old notebook Windows XP and 64-bit computer laptop, an ASUS Windows 8, subsequently updated article 8.1; I am now trying to install it to run from a laptop Toshiba Satellite NB10T-A Windows 8.1 64 bit, but without success.
The original installation CD does not provide an installation but start up (probably because it is only compatible with Windows XP and 7.
The site www.hp.com offers a download a driver for the printer to Windows 8,162 bit. Sounds to download very well. Unpack the file, said he set up, but in the end, the driver is not available.
There is no option to uninstall, in Control Panel of configuration/Printers/software control panel.

I tried printing HP and doctor Scan. It recognizes the printer on USB link, said that lack of drivers, downloads, unpacks and installs the drivers. I also tried installing HP Printer Wizard. The result is similar.

Thanks for your help. I tried following your instructions - remove all files HP, starting in minimal mode, downloading and installing new. Also tried to disable the antivirus scanner. But in vain. The drivers scanner has not been installed.
The 64-bit Installer driver downloaded, but did not complete installation despite the night running. Looking at the processes running in the Task Manager, the name of the installer is for a 32-bit Installer (see the screen attached capture). Could be the problem?
After trying various alternatives to the procedure, I gave up and downloaded the base driver HP Officejet 4500 m G50g Corporate Edition 14.0 (link http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-110155-1&cc=pt&dlc=pt&lc=pt&os=4158&product=3919449&sw_lang= ). This download is recommended only for the professionals, which I am not - but nothing worked.
This driver installed fine. He recognized the printer and scanner. The printer and the scanner properly. The menu shortcuts also work as previously.
It looks like so there is something wrong with the installer 64 bit full feature software and driver. The solution for the other wil the same problem is to try the base driver - although it is for the professionals.
