The printer works fine when I print using the driver provided by HP Windows XP installed in the Windows XP Mode (Windows Virtual PC), so I don't know that there is no problem with all the material involved, or the driver XP.  The problem, therefore, must be in the Windows 7 driver (maybe not limited to the 64-bit version - I have no possibility to test Windows 7 32 bit).  Several others have reported the same problem, as we see in the links below:

  • OfficeJet 6500 has windows 7 Pro, does not print black

Black is not printing, the colors are OK.    Changed the black cartridge for a new a (genuine HP!), no change.   Checked inserted cartridge etc OK.

Tried to open the screen of the wizard to do the alignment, cleans the heads but had the same problem mentioned on another post, the assistant is beyond.

Tried the update of the software 710z, but does not connect via USB.     I know that the cable is OK and printer, Windows gave the found new software message.

Went to the HPPIW. EXE installation method, it is OK, but returned to 710f version.   Not cleaned heads and alignment no impression always on black background.     Tried the diagnosis HPPSdr who told me there is a problem of driver incompatibility.    Deleted the entry of control panel of configuration/printers, uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled, same problem.

In short, impossible to get 710z to connect via USB.   710f tells me that I have a driver incompatibility.  And does not print the problem original, black.

In my view, that covers, all more than welcome advice, this machine is in a store of cats protection Chrity and we desperately need it works again!

Thanks for the advice, given that the machine is under warranty, contact HP and were sent to a replacement machine which works AOK.

  • New installation on windows 7 pro 64-bit sees not connected wired Officejet 6500 E710a-f

    Hello!

New installation of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on a gigahertz 3.40 AMD Phenom II X 4 965 with 8 GB of ram. Printer drivers worked on the same bench while he was running as Windows 7 Pro 32-bit.
After only install FF, AVG, and Acrobat (almost a clean install), downloaded the software HP Officejet full feature and pilot 2012-10-22, Version: 116,98, 28.8 M - OJ6500_E710n - z_1315.exe and tried to install the Officejet 6500 E710a f.

The printer has a manually set static IP and can be ping from the host. Clean Windows Firewall is disabled and stopped.

The web interface using the IP address of the printer comes with all the features works on FF.
Network status shows connected with IP address, hostname and Mac.

However, when installing the network audit is no ethernet connection. Even manually enter his public static IP address or hostname does not solve the problem.

Try the USB, the same question option. I see in Device Manager under other devices HPOfficejet 6500 and 6500 HPOfficejet - Fax with a blue questionmark.
(In the same "other devices" there are 2 Officejet 6500 with a yellow exclamation point - probably from failed network installation).

In the printers and devices window, the 6500 is displayed with the correct thumbnail, but with a yellow exclamation point icon. Law and by selecting the convenience store, Windows comes up with the message that no driver is installed and offers a solution.  The correction ends with the error that no drivers not found for the FAX. Re-apply the patch never finds the driver.

Anyone who has met something similar (and a solution)?

    Thanks for any help!

    Jack

After trying to do an install clean-install of 100% and once again, the driver software could not find the printer name or IP address.
Back at each stage, I noticed that I was not using the correct driver! For some reason I D/L the pilot E710n which is for HP Officejet 6500 a Plus e-All-in-One.
Whatever the difference, when installing the E710n for the model does not detect the printer, or via USB or Ethernet.
After you download the right driver for the E710a - f HP Officejet 6500 a e-All-in-One Printer (OJ6500_E710a - f_1315.exe) installation perfectly finished in a few minutes and everything goes well...

You would think, base or USB connectivity network should not be dependent on the specific differences sub-model. I was expecting that a bad driver interrogate the device after finding its IP address and display an error message with useful text.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 A910 will not scan to folder - Windows 8 Pro

I upgraded my HP M9500Y PC from Windows 7 to Windows 8 Pro.

My printer is HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A910.  In Windows 7, all the functions of print/scan/fax worked perfectly.

Windows 8, printing without problem, however, analysis of the file function fails.

When a document is scanned, the printer seems to be analysis correctly, but the destination folder contains a file of length zero with the new file name.  I tried the formats PDF and JPEG scans.  All attempts to produce files of length zero in the destination folder.

I tried to change the path of the destination folder by replacing the address IP for the name of the PC, but that made no difference.  The destination folder is shared correctly on the Windows network and the configuration utility based on the web of HP for the digitization of records indicates that all tests have passed.

What is the sequence of installation for Windows 8 will accept scan-to-folder operations.

  • OfficeJet 7410 Driver Install on Windows Mobile 8.1

I'm trying to install the HP OfficeJet 7410 all-in-one printer driver.   I downloaded the HP Printer Wizard, the printer has detected and started the installation.    I also ran printing HP and doctor scan which has also detected the printer (in a network) and started the installation.   These two tools, download and run the installation package AIO_CDA_FSW_Full_Win_WW_140_408-5.   This is the process fails.   The software is installed, and then seeks to determine the printer - my printer is connected to the network via ethernet.   When the software does not find the printer, I restart the scan, it fails.  Finally, I wonder if I want to enter the IP (192.168.0.102), and I re - search for the printer.  Saying the direct IP address software does not work, he doesn't know how to find the printer.   I can ping, I can access the printer web page, the PC can connect to the printer and find, the installation of driver software does not work.   To reconfigure the printer and the laptop to use it wireless to repeat the search - always the software can't find the printer, so do not install the print driver or the installation of the software.   If I run the HP Solution Center, it will fail, telling me to set up the printer.   I went through this process as well - he too fails to find the printer.

How can I get the software to recognize the printer so that the installation may complete and I can use the scanner/printer/etc. ?

  • Install OfficeJet 8600 with OfficeJet 7410

I use a current version of Windows 7, SP1.  Can I install an OfficeJet 8600 on the same computer that also uses an OfficeJet 7410? It seems that when I install the software 8600, it trashes the 7410 installation.

Both printers have coexisted on my laptop Dell for ten days it seems that the problem has been resolved by uninstalling them both, and then reinstall the 7410 has my work, followed by a relocation of the 8600 at my house using the software downloaded from HP instead of the software from the installation of 8600 disc.  The 8600 without the 7410 was also stable on installing MacBook Pro Bootcamp to my wife for the same period.  Thanks for your help.

  • HP OfficeJet 7410 fails to install

I tried to install my HP OfficeJet 7410 on two different machines to Vista, but I'm getting Fatal Error 2203 on both machines with every attempt to set up the PRINTER. I downloaded the last set of drivers for systems respective 32/64-bit, and if it is 32/64-bit system, HP.com points you to the same file named: AIO_CDB_Full_Network_enu_NB.exe.

Both machines have Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2. A machine, a s3307c of HP, installed Vista 32 bit and the other a Dell Studio 1537, Vista 64-bit installed. In addition to Service Pack 2, every machine had any other possible update installed via Windows Update, and each machine also has Internet Explorer 8 is installed, if that makes a difference.

About midway through each attempt to install the software, I get the same 'fatal error' error code 2203 but the message will read a little differently each time. There is usually a different end with the "MSI.xxxxxx" message, causing an unknown problem. The last of them was "MSI. Bufferchm ".

The HP OJ 7410 is on Vista hardware compatibility list and I had already installed the OJ 7410 on each of these machines with no problems, and I even used the 7410 on both machines without any problem. HP desktop computer has been connected via USB and the Dell laptop was connected wireless. However, my HP s3307c desktop computer hard drive died recently and I had to replace it. Currently all reinstall, I ran into this dam with the 7410. I didn't have to reload Vista on Dell Studio 1537, but about 3-4 months before the death of the desktop computer HP laptop Dell stopped communicating wirelessly with the OJ 7410, so I took the opportunity to recharge both machines.

I even followed the solutions on the next web page, but I had no luck with a successful installation:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c00459898

I could really use some help here. I never had so many bad install a piece of HP hardware, especially something like a printer/scanner (in this case an AIO). It makes no sense to me that I could install this before AIO and work all of a sudden not complete installation on the same machine with the same operating systems. Also, is there any sense to me that HP just posted the updated files this month here, and none of them work.

    Help!

I have Windows XP Pro. and lose the connection with my printer (HP Officejet 6500 and I was told that I had to upgrade to Windows 7) Can I upgrade to Windows 7 without having to first install Vista?

You can - clean installation however.  No direct path from Windows XP to Windows 7.

If the machine is old, but - I wouldn't bother.  You will end up by it hate because it is slow and probably blame the operating system.

The upgrade to Windows 7 is not a solution for the loss of connectivity to a printer - not a logic.

    Is what SPECIFIC printer this?

    HP Officejet 6500 All - in - One Printer series - E709

If you download and install the latest appropriate WIndows XP complete software driver for your printer and maybe upgrade the firmware of the printer itself-, it would probably solve your problem.  If you use it as a wireless printer (it is printed through your network, but not connected by a cable [ethernet]) so you can check for updgrades to the firmware of your router (level) and reconfigure your network completely wireless if you start with a good foundation.

  • Is it possible to use the wizard to analysis of Microsoft with all-in-one HP Officejet 7410?

I have a HP Officejet 7410 connected to my system and it works well had to analyze the documents, that I prefer software that comes in the accessories of Windows XP. Naturally, the HP software overrides this facility and the scanner is not seen. Is it possible to make visible in the Microsoft program?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

If the printer is connected by USB cable, you should find the scanner icon in the control panel > Scanners and cameras. If you double-click on the icon of the scanner, it should start the wizard for scanning.

Hi Raindrop211 and welcome to the forums of HP!

I'm sorry to hear you had problems with the solution Center HP regarding your Officejet 7410, but I will certainly do my best to help out

It really looks like that something is not to proceed with the installation correctly, so to start I would like that you start by removing the software HP using HP Officejet software and driver removal utility and then once it is removed, I would like to you clear your Temp folder as well.

Once this is done, I would recommend that you reboot your PC and then go to download and run the HP printer installation wizard as it should be able to download and install the most recent drivers for you.

I would like to know how it goes for you!

  • All-in-one HP Officejet 7410: your printer cannot be found on your wireless network

I have a home network and two printers connected wirelessly. One is HP Laserjet P1102w and works very well. The other is all-in-one HP Officejet 7410 and I am not able to connect to it. I installed the HP software, but it fails to detect the printer. It was working fine before the update from Windows 8.1 for Windows 10.

I am able to ping the printer IP. If I enter the IP address on my browser I see the printer (see photo below) and it let me scan (see photo display preview).  But I could not find where to go the scan! It is not in my scans.

I ran HP print and Scan doctor and it shows the HP Officejet 7400 series. When I select and press Next, it says: failed to communicate with your selected product. I noticed that the IP address is slightly different from the actual IP address that has the format: xx.x.x.xx. Than that shown is xx.x.xxx. Which ' don't know if it's part of the problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
