HP Officejet Blues - HELP!

I have a HP Officejet 4500 printer, which continues to "disconnect".  Forum HP tells me to uninstall the software, then reinstall it and who's supposed to take care of it.  Well, forgive me, but I'm not a computer guru, and I don't think it's just that only with this printer less than a year, he has to act up like this.  I did some research to see how many consumers have this printer and you'd be surprised, not to mention surprised to see the same types of problems that they were sustainable.  Please help me; I'm exhausted themselves.

Thanks, Tiki2012

Hello

It's great advice for something, you never know what, might have
has a problem with the driver. And it is a good troubleshooting step. Added it could
other issues, including hardware issues. Don't forget to check all the connections - remove
and replace - try not just close.

As OEM HP is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their drivers.
Check with HP Support, their drivers and documentation online and ask in their forums.

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.

  • Irql_not_less_or_equal blue help screen / / / 0x0000000A

Hello! Recently I was making a few different blue screens. After a few different system restores, I only get 1 now. It's the irql_not_less_or_equal.

For a few months now, I was not using my computer until within the last few days, because for a while, I need new RAM. And I thought I needed a new graphics card, because I had problems with my monitor (it became very pixelated/signs of him dying). Although, I don't have my installed latest graphics card.

My computer will last between 5-15 minutes until I get this blue screen.

I went from 2 GB of RAM DDR2 up to 8 GB DDR3 (2 of 4 GB each). Recently, I was not able to boot my computer. After hours of trying to figure out why, I watched my RAM and 1 of them had burnt/burned some how. I don't know when or why. POM I have removed that one and I kept the right thing and put it on the opposite side of where the other burned. Because I had removed the charred/burnt RAM, I am now able to boot my computer very well.

I am currently using my old graphics (NVIDIA Geforce 8500 GT)
    My system specs are:

    Windows Vista Edition Home Premium
    Service Pack 2
    Processor: Intel (r) Pentium (r) D CPU 3.73 GHz
    (Vivid RAM) memory: 4.00 GB
    System type: 32-bit

Windows Update is current. Each update it can find, I installed. My graphics card is up-to-date as well. I ran a memtest86 + on my 1 stick of 4 GB of RAM, and it found no problem. I also used Rkill, MalwareBytes, and MSE to see if it was virus/etc. related. No problem.

I wrote down the info, when I saw a blue screen. This was also the last blue screen, I'm currently in Mode safe mode w / Networking:
    Irql_not_less_or_equal
    STOP: 0X0000000A (0X0000001B, 0X00000000, 0X00A20BA4, 0X830B8352)

I'm not too familiar with the system logs/event viewer. So, I downloaded Blue Screen Viewer, (just in case). I'd appreciate any help!

    Thank you very much
    Cody

The problem may occur if any of the hardware devices are defective or the drivers are corrupt.

I bought the printer a few years ago today decided to install the CD that came with the machine printer/fax/scanner.copy says that my Windows 8 will not work on my wireless network.

    What should do?

    Thanks for any information

    Hello

Download and install the latest drivers below, most likely the CD was created before Windows 8 version:

  • Cannot start the HP printing software (HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 A910a)

    Hello

When I double-click the icon of the HP software on my desktop behavior strange results. Nothing opens and my computer behaves erratically. After a while I get the following error messages:

    instancefinderdlg.exe

    werfault.exe

Then after that - my computer restarts so all by himself. But not a complete reboot - it just goes back to the initial logon screen and I get my password from Windows and displays the desktop.

I am running Windows Pro 8.1 (64-bit). The printer is set to work wireless.

After doubleclicking on the HP software icon and wait for the software to open, as I mentioned above, one thing I tried was a ctrl-alt-del and open Task Manager. I checked the services running, and there were multiple instances of a service life of HP (I not only remember the name but there seems to be dozens of the same HP service running).

I also completely uninstalled all HP software use Revo Uninstaller and then reinstalled the software / driver for the OfficeJet Pro 8500 A910a - but this package did not make a difference; exactly the same problem occurred again.

It happened only in recent days. Before that, I could double-click the HP software icon and open normally and I was able to check the settings, ink levels, etc. Interestingly, the printer seems to always work well - I can print in Word, print photos from Lightroom, etc. Just, I can't open my desktop HP printing software.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi jedasa,

I guess you can start to feel frustrated. I did some additional research and would like to try a few things. I want to delete the printer Assistant icon, open devices and printers, right-click on your printer and choose open. In the window that opens, please right-click on the Printer Wizard and click on create a shortcut. Now we can go to the desktop and see if it will be open from there. The icon will now by HP in a blue circle and say HP Printer Wizard below (see image below).  If it opens and works, we use this going forward, but if it does not continue with the steps below.

    1. Hold down the Windows Logo key ( ) on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the dialog box run, type %temp%
    2. Delete all files and folders in the temp folder. Choose Skip if all pop ups seem to say all files cannot be deleted
    3. Unplug the USB cable (if connected), open programs and features, click Editor (all HP software will be together now) and uninstall all software associated with the printer. You fill find the basic driver, study for improvement of the product, HP Officejet 8500 help. Be sure to do not uninstall other HP software, especially if your computer is a HP computer. I generally use the date as a reference. Printing software would have all been installed on the same date.
    4. Once the uninstall is complete, reboot the computer
    5. Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.

I completely uninstalled the printer software and reinstalled and reset all my preferences in this regard.  Painful, but did not work.  Also printer keeps going offline and it is supposed to be a wireless printer.  Extremely frustrating to have a wireless printer which never seems to be wireless.

Someone knows how can I fix the mistake of updating and/or the issue offline?

    Hi @yvr2lhr

Because nothing happens when you try to open the Printer Wizard, I would like you to download this > File Association problem.

You won't see anything happen after about 4-5 minutes waiting, restart the computer, and then try again the printer Assistant icon.

If the problem persists, I would delete the printer Assistant icon, open devices and printers, right-click on your printer and choose open. In the window that opens, please right-click on the Printer Wizard and click on create a shortcut. Now we can go to the desktop and see if it will be open from there. Very well yesterday, today problem started with no yellow.  Went through the process to the leaders own and has gotten a little better on the test page.  Heads cleaned again and now no yellow or blue.  Cleaned heads the 3rd time and the same thing - no blue or yellow.  All Original HP print cartridges are new or full.  HP online help does not have.  Any suggestions much appreciated.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless print pink instead of blue

Until recently, I never had a problem with this printer; However (now when I didn't print blue) it comes out pink... I cleaned the head many times and has also replaced the Cyan Ink Cartridge with a new and fresh cartridge, and nothing seems to solve the problem... All suggestions are solicited.

    Hi Chuck,

I understand that you have a problem with your printer Officejet 8500 Wireless color print does not correctly. I'm sorry to hear what is happening, but I will do my best to help you!

I understand that you advised you already tried cleaning, but I will suggest that take you a look at this document to print quality because it has a few others not for you to try as well. If the problem persists after this document, although I suggest you clean the printhead contacts manually because it might be an accumulation causing the colors do not print correctly.

Finally, I also recommend connect the printer directly to a wall outlet to make sure that the printer is getting enough power to function properly.

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

  • Text in blue the occultation in officejet 6310

I was pulling my hair out trying to fix a problem printing with text fonts.  My Officejet 6310 wants to print a pale blue shadow under the text in bold .  Doesn't seem to matter where I... internet print or word document.  I checked all the font settings, unplugged my printer several times missed the doctor print and nothing seems to help.  I played around with settings of 'high quality' and that didn't seem to help.  I noticed when I print photos of ancestry.com, they seem a bit fuzzy too so I don't know if it is a problem of color cartridge.

It seems to show a text light blue shade.

The only work-around, I was able to fix with it's choose the preference for "black ink only" in the color management.

I only use HP inks.  I have Windows 7 and my HP 6310 Officjet is not that old.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I have to keep that in mind if I continue to have a problem.   However; It seems to be a color ink cartridge problem!  I removed the cartridges and cleaned the area of conection with a q.  But... I noticed my colour cartridge was very dirty and it took me 6 Qtips to remove any ink from the outside, so I think it was oozing too much ink and interfering with the print quality.  Once reinserted, it seemed to print correctly.  OUCH... took me 6 days to discover it!  Because the cartridge is relatively new, I have it has not verified and have not run the cleaning function.  Cleaning by hand, it was certainly necessary, because this cartridge was terrible!  Thank you so much for coming back with me so fast!

  • Blue screen on Asus laptop when it is connected to the printer OfficeJet 4620 computer

I have a laptop Asus U47A, Windows 7, 64 bit. When I connect my laptop to the printer Officejet 4620 via USB and it has print my computer gets the blue screen and turns off. This doesn't happen every time, however. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the printer software, and I tried to plug the usb cable to the port instead of port 3.0 2.0. None of this worked well. Any suggestions?

This problem normally only when the USB 3.0 port is used and the Intel chipset that causes the problem has not been updated. First of all update and see if it helps. Here's my post on how to know who is who, but also update this driver:

In addition, you need to maybe just remove the software and reinstall from the software available on the site of HP full setting:
