HP Officejet Pro 8500 has problem with black ink printing

I have an Officejet Pro 8500 a printer. When I print documents, it will not print anything in black ink. The colors work very well, but just black will not print. The printer says that the black ink cartridge has plenty of ink, and when I shake it, I can say that there is something in there. So, I don't think it's a question of black ink out. Is there a chance that something is blocking the ink out? Any patches for this in addition to the purchase of a new ink cartridge?

Document here can help solve the black is not printing on your HP Officejet Pro 8500 has.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 a - problem with the wireless radio

First of all, I'm sorry for my bad English. I hope that you have little imagination when reading. I'll start to describe the problem and the lower list, I hope, all the relevant information you need to help me.

Yesterday, I bought a brand new OfficeJet Pro 8500 has.

Since I have found a little bit of my computer and my router I configure for wireless connection.

All whent fine, the printer connected to my WIFI network without any problem and I was able to do a scan using the HP scanning software. How ever, when you try to scan a document nother directly after the first that did not work. I got an error message on the computer telling me that the computer could not connect to the scanner and it could be caused by the firewall. I also tried to print a word document, but it seemed that the document could not be sent to the printer during the observation of the State of the printer. Finally I gave up the print job and began to study the problem.

By using the service to help in the HP software that I did all the things he suggested me to do. I have disabled the firewall, open TCP/UDP ports, restarted the router, the computer and the printer in different combinations, nothing worked.

All the while the printer was connected to my WLAN, indicated by the State of the network printer and the router. I was about to give up but thought I should try only to disable and enable the transceiver wireless in the printer. To my surprise this solves the problem. I was in a position of scan and print documents.

Today, after work, I tried to do another analysis, and the same mistake was present. Once more I did magic with the wireless radio and it has temporarily solved the problem, but he came back a few minutes later.

Summoriz, the error can always be corrected by disable and enable the radio wireless, but after some time (a few minutes) the error returns that it self.

I played a bit and discovered that it is possible to access the built-in Web server during the error. Not all functionality of the EWS seems to work perhaps (it's OK) but I can't among many things has see the State of the network and I can even do an analysis using the integrated Web server.

I tried to reconfigure the printer using the printer setup wireless and also after a reset of the printer and it does not help.

I hope someone on this forum knows a solution to my problem.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more stalls now displaying "printing".

Hi, in the Office I work in that we have 2 HP Officejet Pro 8500 A910 Series. It is on a network with 3 PCs running WIndows 7 and the other is connected via wifi to a PC that is also running Windows 7.

The problem is that the printer is on a network often stalls displaying "print now" on the screen of the printer. The only way to continue to print is to turn off the computer, and then on again once, wait that he do his cleaning etc. then press print. It's normally ok for this work print, but as soon as other print jobs are added must be reset to zero and the cycle repeats endlesly all day. Until recently the other printer connected via wifi was working fine but now that is also exactly the same as described above.

Recently, I searched the forums and have discovered that it is a common problem with this type of printer.

I did the resets partial or total of the two printers without result.

Bothe printers currently use the firmware version: LRP1FN1126AR, which I believe is the latest firmware.

Please someebody can explain how to make these printers are working properly? Thank you very much

Opening and closing the door of cartrdge seem to generate an interrupt that resets the connection and unlocks the pending print job.

While not solving the underlying abnormality, it is much faster and esier on you and the printer.

  • HP officejet pro 8500 has 910 with windows vista to abnormal termination that don't resolve

My printer was given to me and will loop continuously: it starts and displays the progress bar, operates the head printer port.

poster 'abnormal termination' and stops and resumes the same loop again and again. I tried both the soft reset and hard reset with no results or editing, he keeps just loop. I checked for paper jams, removed covers and clean the printer replaced the cartridges of ink and cleaned printer heads, made a complete Visual inspection, nothing helps. (I'm a computer technician).

I am at a loss here and any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you!

Well, I received my new adapter (the correct one) and it solved the problem! Only now I have a jam to carriage of mystery that I will work on next.

I'm going to mark it as RESOLVED, because it fixed the issue I was addressing. Yep! Make sure you have the right adapter.

Hello and thanks for any advice.  I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 started a clicking then that he was trying to pick up the paper for printing a document and then received a paper error output (bin was full).  I removed all the paper and found a small plastic piece 1/4 inches long and looks like a piece of home (he's not... looks like only). I replaced the paper and tried to print.  I opserved that the mechanism of paper collection has diminished, but the wheels do not turn. I manually pushed a piece of paper in front of the van and it printed.  The collection of paper wheel is the problem... is there an available spare part?

    Hi dwaryk,

Thanks for joining the forums of HP's Support with your request.

I understand that you have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-all-in-one printer that seems to have lost perhaps a part and the mechanism of paper collection has stopped working. I'll help you as best I can.

I checked the list of replaceable parts for this printer and who find that the mechanism of collecting paper is not a replaceable piece by customer. If the printer is broken, a replacement may be your only option.

I suggest you contact HP support. They could have an option to replace/upgrade the printer that you could save a few dollars to the retail costs.

What you can do, is to use the following link to create yourself a file number, then call and it can help to expedite the appeal process:

  • Player card HP Officejet Pro 8500 has

    Hello

I need card reader and I didn't know if my printer could be sufficient.  I have the HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-all-in-one printer and connected it wireless (I'm also using a mac, but I CAN access Windows Xp via bootcamp).  I tried to insert a SanDisk 8 Gb Micro SDHC with a SanDisk card into the slot of the printer.  The printer can read the card very well and view/print photos of the touch screen.  However, I was curious if I would be able to transfer the files to the Micro SD card on my computer and vice versa, using the printer.  If so, can is this possible, you explain how.

    Thank you

    Dan

    Hello

Yes, you must map the drive of your printer to your network card, and it should come as a drive on your computer. You can copy files from here (Note: some cards don't like may not move photos from computer to them).

The following statement should work for your printer:

    http://www.Instructables.com/ID/use-your-printer-as-a-card-reader/

    or this:

  • Problems with the operation of the Second paper tray - HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more

I just bought a second paper cartridge for my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has more. It shows up on my printer paper tray 2.  However, I can't understand how to go between the paper trays to get items to print from the individual trays.  A choice should not result when I click on PRINT?  Or if I should not be able to set up a default tray for printing on letter size, but be able to change in the other side, when I want to print an envelope?

I will be happy to help you with this problem.

The 2nd test is an accessory. It is not downloaded in the drivers. You will need to do the 2nd tray DEFAULT tray for stationery. Go to your settings on the printer. Choose Preferences and go to the default tray.

The envelopes and any other type of paper in addition to the letter will be put in TRAY 1.

Let me know how it goes.
