HP Officejet Pro 8600 Premium: OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium - cannot use Gigabit Wireless N

My OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium only connect to my router using Wireless G even though my router is capable of Wireless-N. I connect 2.4 GHz, and all my other devices connect to my router using Wireless N without problem. This printer's specifications indicate that it is able to use N Wireless 2.4 GHz. How can I get the printer to connect to my router using Wireless N? Thank you!

Reset the printer to the default network. Reset your router failing factory. Reconfigure your router back to your configuration. Now try to connect using WA2 - AES encryption to your SSID.

Hello.  I have a problem with mobile printing to my HP 8600 N911g of my Samsung Galaxy S4 v4.2.2 Android running.

According to the HP documentation this combination of devices should be able to use the built-in HP android printing solution, which basically means that I wouldn't install anything to print.  When I try to print from the browser on the phone, I choose the option 'print '.  I am able to locate and select the printer on my network.  I see the preview of the web page on the phone.  I click on the "print" button and get a message in the top of the screen saying "starts to print.  Then I get an error pop up at the bottom that says: "print error: cannot use this print option.

I turned the market things.  The phone and the printer are on the same wifi network.  The printer I have installation ePrint as well as wifi direct (although I do not know what counts).  I tried to disable bluetooth.

Clues?  Would appreciate some help here.

PS - I also tried to download the HP ePrint app on the android market and had success with either... but I'm sure that I shouldn't do that, right?

I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled several times from the disk.

    I downloaded the windows updates

I downloaded the full feature software and driver for this model and tried to install from it.

With the full functionality & pilots came "Error of Installation HP - Windows 7.hta" and I followed him with attention for the installation of USB, including disabling my Avast antivirus for one hour on each attempt, disabling a normal startup in msconfig

After all this sw "HP Solutions Center 's" told me that the installation did not finish, so I uninstalled and retried twice, once the uninstall with the uninstall feature in the exe ' full functionality so & Driver "and once with the program control panel uninstall Uninstall System.  Same result after these attempts "not completely installed.

Can't believe a HP product on a HP product installation can be this darn difficult.

Do you have any help?     NB.

First of all, thank you again for further upward.   I really appreciate your time and efforts.  I successfully completed earlier and tested the installation.  Here is what happened.

I'm supposed to go again very carefully through your instructions and began uninstalling.  But as I went through this process, I came across problems of functionality - I mean, I could not get either the Windows uninstall or download of sw/driver uninstall function - nothing would happen.

Then I found (surprisingly) I own the original supplied with the notebook disks (I got this for my son as he was headed for duty in Afghanistan in early 2011).  I therefore decided to back up and reinstall Windows & apps.  But the DVD player would not read discs or discs, although Bishop device says it works correctly.  My son used a lot of music and movies and had trouble with it in Af.  So the original disks were not do me no good.  I tried to create a repair on my GoFlex drive disc, but it does not work I think because the file system is not NTSC (initials right?), but is the Master Boot Record (sounds like the FAT).

I discovered THE system BIOS before startup offered a recovery option - I used that and today tried to install it on the system and voila!

I really didn't want to go this route to recovery because I wanted to overcome obstacles and make it work as it should.  Stubborn.  But retirement is only 7-8 years of absence and I had not a lot of time - ha!

Now, I need to get a replacement DVD + RW and this laptop should be back to the original form, and the battery takes no charge so I guess it expired.  Since he does not need it, I have a pc to use so my wife can play Solitaire on the Pavilion.

Awesome support both by you and others in the forum.  I am very grateful that you are here and it helped me to overcome the problems.  I learned a little, installs windows and this laptop.  At first I had no idea if I did something wrong, had the wrong approach, or what.

Thanks again - I cannot exactly call your work a solution, but I was at the point where the complete reinstallation was the thing to do.

How can I set up my Pro M201-M202dw of Lasrejet to be accessible via the USB connection or wireless

    Hello @datfr

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I should be able to provide assistance. If your LaserJet is already configured on the wireless network and added to the computer, then all you need to do is plug the USB cable into the computer too.  If the printer is not WiFi yet ensure that USB is not connected and run Setup wireless for printers.  Here is a link about the Configuration the printer to a wireless or wired network for the HP LaserJet Pro M201 and M202 Printer series.

  • HP OfficeJet 4650: How can I use direct wireless alongside my regular wifi?

I am trying to connect my printer to my laptop direct wireless, without having to change the networks every time I print. I want my laptop to be able to stay on my network domestic and the printer is not on the network. I got direct wireless to work, it just won't be online when I change networks. Is there a way to set up the connection if Panel or something for this? How do I go about setting this up? If this is not possible in any way, please let me know why so... Thank you!

    Hello

Normally when installing the software and drivers, you can see 2 logical printers on your home network and it is direct connect (given your printer supports direct connect). You can select one of the default ones. What everway, your computer and your printer must be on the same network, otherwise you cannot print unless you use ePrint app.

Please follow the instructions below for installing wireless:

  • Pro L10: After using a wireless mouse, the touch pad has stopped working

Pro L10. After using a wireless mouse, the built in touch pad has stopped working properly. At the start of the keypad icon touch shows and the touchpad works intermittently, after a few minuets, the icon disappears and the touch pad stops working. In the control panel / mouse & or device drive I can how the program works, then disappears.

I deleted the software and reinstalled nothing doesn't. In some cases, I get a message that a pointer is on.

    Can you help me?

    Hello

It seems that the wireless mouse or mouse wireless drivers/software has a bad influence on the touchpad.
I put t have a good solution for this problem. Well, you can consult the page of the Toshiba driver for latest driver updates. If the updates doesn't solve this problem I suggest to use either the mouse wireless and disable the touchpad with FN + F9 key combination or use a regular USB mouse.
I guess that you are having regular problems with a USB mouse.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 a Premium: loss of connectivity wireless when I plug the cable on Officejet Pro 8500 a

Successfully, I can connect an ethernet cable to the ethernet on the back of my printer port and print to the printer via the cable network.  I can unplug the ethernet cable and configure the printer features wireless to the printer and print successfully on the network wireless to the printer.  However, when I try to use wired and wireless at the same time (both running), it won't work.  If I try to turn on wireless with an ethernet cable connected to the printer, I get a warning message on the home screen, indicating that wireless printer can not be configured or turned on when an ethernet cable is plugged.

Is this a limitation of the hardware printer or I have the printer configured incorrectly?

I tried to reset the printer default network settings and reconfiguration of network but still have the same problem as described above.  On a HP Officejet 8600 A separate premium, however, I remember that the two cables and wireless can work at the same time.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hello

This is a limitation of the printer, either a cable or a wireless network connection may work, you cannot use two connection options at the same time.

    Kind regards

  • HP OfficeJet Pro L7590 want to use wireless

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro L7590 (all-in-one) want to use wireless.

I have a laptop Apple Macbook (mine) and a laptop IBM thinkpad (from my company that I keep with me).

How can I use the wireless all-in-one with two laptops - what equipment do I need and where can I find it?

    Thank you

    Judy Uridge

You must have the wireless router if you want both a wireless connection. The printer has no built-in wireless so you need to connect to the router wireless using a LAN cable. And before you can do this, you must set up your own network first. You must call your router or your ISP factory to set up your own network of wireless configuration.

For more information on the configuration of the printer on the network, you can find this useful link.

  • Satellite Pro 6100: BSOD after use of the 6000 SP recovery CD

My 6000 Pro Satellite recently bitten the dust after several years of daily use. I just bought a used SP6100, after which I tried to use my SP6000 product recovery CD to do a reformat. Since when I Stop (obviously common) * 0x0000007B (0xF9680640, 0 x 0000034 etc.) error and blue screen on reboot.

Is there a way to turn it? I had not thought about media recovery is specific to a single model (and the 6000 and 6100 are quite similar in terms of model anyway), but is this the case?

Thank you very much for all the advice

Cannot use the recovery CD on the different laptop models. Perhaps the two Satellite 6000 and 6100 are similar, BUT not even.
Different drivers and chipset utilities are used on these books.
The restore CD contains all drivers and utilities, and it seems that the blue screen error message appears because some applications and drivers are incompatible and unsupported on the second satellite!

So if you want to use the Sat 6100 you should install the OS from the original CD of Microsoft and then visit Toshiba s driver and download the RIGHT and compatible drivers.

    Good luck

  • Satellite Pro A200: Windows cannot find WLan

Something is wrong with my laptop, I have Toshiba Satellite Pro A200 with XP Pro SP3...

When I try to search for wireless networks using the Microsofts, he found nothing, but can from TOSHIBA ConfigFree.

You're probably, who has to use Toshiba then - software is not possible, cause ConfigFree supports the WEP keys, but most of the keys used here wireless are WEP - TSK or something - not supported by ConfigFree.

How can I make my Microsoft Windows to detect wireless routers?

    Have you tested without SP3?
