HP Officejet Pro L7580: "Automatic duplex printing Module is missing" message.

Although the double-sided printing works fine, the "Automatic duplex printing Module is missing" message, as I updated to Windows 10. I installed the latest drivers. Maybe a firmware update can do the trick?

More from my side:

I thought a little more on this subject and maybe we can solve this problem with a printdriver alternativ.

Let's try a driver "HP Officejet Pro K550 series".

Perform the following steps to install the printdriver alternativ:

  • Right click in the bottom left of your desktop and select 'control panel '.
  • then select "devices and printers".
  • Click on "add a printer".
  • Then click on "my printer is not listed.
  • then mark "local printer" (bottom)
  • Select "HP" on the list on the left and "HP Officejet Pro K550 series" on the right
  • After that finish the wizard

After you have added the printer with success mark this printer as "standard printer" and allows to have an eye on printing and we'll see whether or not the error appears again.

Kind regards

  • OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus duplex printing does not

I am on Mac OSX leopard (10.5.8) and just purchased the officejet pro 8600.  Everything seems to work fine except that I can't understand how to print on both sides.  The option is not allowed in the layout

I checked the settings of the printer and you don't see anything to indicate how to enable the duplex printing option.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Hello

Please follow the steps below to configure the automatic duplex print driver:

    1. check that duplex printing accessory has been installed correctly. To check this open system preferences and go to Print & Fax. Open the print to your printer queue. Click Printer Setup and in the tab menu choose driver. Make sure that the box next to HP printing accessory (duplexer) sides.

    2. on the file menu, select print. The print window is displayed.
NOTE: The print window might be minimized. Click the blue triangle next to the printer name to see all available parameters.

    3. in the print window expanded you will find next to Copies the checkbox for duplex. Select the check box.
NOTE: If the check box does not appear in the specific application print dialog box, skip this step.

    4. to select the connection type click the selection box below, listed as the name of the program (e.g. TextEdit)
Will appear as Copies & Pages within Microsoft Office applications.

    5. Select the menu drop down.

    6. set the duplex option as binding edge Long (Portrait) or binding Long Edge (landscape).

You can save the settings for later use by clicking preset > save current settings as preset.

  • Missing automatic duplex printing module

HP Officejet Pro L7590.  Original message after the conversion of Windows 8 to 8.1.  The solution suggested HP's HP Print Driver v1.0 update installation, but this isn't a download available for this printer.  The printer driver is newly installed.

    Hi Sunshyn 2005,

I thought I had posted a response, but he did not appear, so I risk of duplication.

My apologies for the late reply (see below).

The first proposal has confirmed that the duplex module has been installed.

I did not complete the uninstall option because of an independent issue which resulted in a complete PC Restore and the return of 8.1 to 8.0.  So the late answer.  The problem reappeared with 8.0, so consider it resolved.

    Thanks for your help.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus - Duplex printing problem

I use a printer Officejet Pro 8600 Plus (what is the best printer I've ever had, apart from this problem!).  I use it with Windows 8.1.

He struggles for more than a few pages print using duplex.  The problem seems to get worse when I print a pdf file.  It starts to print very well and made a few pages, but then I get this message "error on HP Officejet Pro 8600.  "Could not print * name * folder.  It appears on the computer not the printer.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Hey there @operationorphan

I just wanted to add my own suggestions here for the issue of two-sided printing that you had with your Officejet 8600.

You can try to update the firmware: get the latest Firmware and updates

If this does not help, try to uninstall the printer software , reboot the PC and reinstall the printer. This should dissipate all software problems.

    I hope that helps!

If troubleshooting doesn't help not solve your problem, then I would say call the HP Technical Support to see all the other possibilities for you. If you call in North America, the number is 1-800-474-6836 and for all other regions: click here.

    See you soon

  • HP Officejet Pro L7580 - no black printing or with stripes

My printer does not print in black and white pages. Or if my printer prints black pages, there are scratches on.
There is no problem in color. When you print a self-test diagnostics page, does it in color, indicating no problem.

I've already replaced the printhead, cartridges. I've lined up, printhead, cleaning...

    Anyone know what to do?

    Solution! :

I found it strange that the printer does not work. HP provides good material. I thought, there must be a solution. I found the solution. This solution, I want to share with everyone.

I don't have one, two or three times to do it, but more than 10 times the next steps. Whenever there was a small improvement. And after a dozen times the result is perfect.

Follow these steps for the solution:

    (A) once. Maybe not necessary. But it can't hurt.

    (1) institutions.

    (2) tools.

    Okay 3).

    (4) restore default.

    (5) okay.

    (B) more than 10 times.

    (1) institutions.

    (2) tools.

    Okay 3).

    (4) print head cleaning.

    (5) okay.

    (C) more than five times.

    (1) institutions.

    (2) tools.

    Okay 3).

    (4) calibration.

    (5) okay.

    (D) more than five times.

    (1) institutions.

    (2) tools.

    Okay 3).

    (4) align the printer.

    (5) okay.

--> Alignment failed. HOWEVER, alignment is complete.

    (6) okay. (If 'Alignment is complete.')

    Good luck with it!

  • I have an Officejet Pro L7580 all-in-one. How do you find the printer did how many copies?

I have an Officejet Pro L7580 all-in-one.  How do I know how many copies the machine made?

    Dragon-fur (unusual name!)

Thanks again for your suggestions, which led me to the answer.

Looking more closely at the options in the HP Solution Center, which I thought I had already exhausted, I followed these links - settings, print settings, the Toolbox for printer, information, reviews, myprintmileage, source, which led me to the total number of pages, number of total jobs and many other information, which, apparently, is monitored by HP.

Thanks for the clues get me there.

  • LaserJet Pro M426fdw MFP: Automatic duplex printing works in 2016 in Word but not in 1 c Enterprise 8

Automatic duplex printing works in Word 2016 but no 1 c company. When I choose "Print on both sides" in Word 2016 it works as it should. But in the 1 c company it prints 2 pages instead of 1. Can someone explain why?

The problem is with 1 c Enterprise 8. In version 8.3, it is possible to select two-sided printing in file-> Page Setup. This program doesn't respect changes to the settings of the printer in the print dialog box. You must change the configuration of the default printer in the control panel.

  • HP laserjet pro M125: hp laserjet m125 does support automatic duplex printing?

The hp laserjet m125 does support automatic duplex printing? I can only understand how manually to do duplexing so far.

I don't see anything in the manual mentions automatic duplex. So I think not, manual only.

  • OfficeJet Pro L7580 will not hold settings network by hand... not visible on the network

Yes... Once again... Another question about the famous OfficeJet Pro L7580 all in one.

I can't write all the IP settings and get the machine to save.  No matter how many times I try, it's always defaults to "automatic" and when I print the network settings page I get all the relevant numbers as 0.0.0.0.  I tried the network diagnostic tool, I have read all the instructions, I am a network expert.  I searched this problem on Google and all I see is to throw this thing in the trash.

I also downloaded the official patch from HP for Windows 7 64 bit network, but when I try to run this fix, it is said that the patch is not provided for Windows 7.

Should I trash this thing or is there a fix. ?

    Thank you

This means that a user can choose to buy it separately (as an option).

The owner of a HP Officejet 7610 can buy the duplexer (optional) to activate automatic duplex printing.

The HP Officejet 7612 comes with the duplexer as standard (in box)

I have a HP Officejet Pro L7580 - connection with laptop Dell and Windows Vista PC.  I did not have printing problems, but has been unable to fax or scan.  I uninstalled the software and put back in place to make sure I had the latest software and compatibility for Vista.  I can now fax but when I try to scan, I get the following error: No analysis Options - refer to device documentation to troubleshoot issues - only, there is no documentation of the device...

When I went to the HP site to install the latest version of the software, I've installed the full functionality & driver software... guess I thought that this would have everything that I need, but it seems that the software of HP Imaging Device functions was not installed...

  • I can't find a driver for HP Officejet Pro L7580.

Updated my system to Windows 7 after years of using Vista.  Now, I can not use my HP Officejet Pro L7580 because it cannot find a driver to install.   Each tab has said that the device works perfectly.  I deleted all of the HP software... it off... rebooted... reloaded and still the message says that this driver is missing and it can't find on the site of HP.  He also said that he is not allowed to update the drivers.  During the audit in this area... that's bad.  Updates are always automatic without authorization by this tab, you open to change the settings.  I can't see the problem/solution... can anyone else?

    Hey there,

Make sure you first if you use Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit then follow this link:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&DLC=en&lang=en&LC=en&product=2512008&

If you choose the recommended base or full software driver are the official drivers from HP for the product.

    I hope this helps!
