  • HP Officejet Pro L7580 - HP Scan program works only on Mac OS Mavericks 10.9.2

    Hello there Support HP,

I can not open HP Scan on my Macbook Pro / Mac OS Mavericks 10.9.2.  I have a HP Officejet Pro L7580. Scanning HP program / app just will not open.  I just scan them with my printer, like I did with my other Mac computer that still works on Mountain Lion.

I would like to reinstall my HP software (HP Scan / to see if that would solve the problem but I can't find the software online.) It's all in your site is the HP-Printer-Driver Update - Patch_v1.0.0, but who has not solved.

Please let me know if HP has a "HP Scan" for the Mavericks working update for my HP Officejet Pro L7580.

    I would really appreciate it!

    See you soon,.

  • Please HELP WITH OFFICEJET PRO L7580 - HP Imaging Device Software Funstions for Windows Vista

I have a HP Officejet Pro L7580 - connection with laptop Dell and Windows Vista PC.  I did not have printing problems, but has been unable to fax or scan.  I uninstalled the software and put back in place to make sure I had the latest software and compatibility for Vista.  I can now fax but when I try to scan, I get the following error: No analysis Options - refer to device documentation to troubleshoot issues - only, there is no documentation of the device...

When I went to the HP site to install the latest version of the software, I've installed the full functionality & driver software... guess I thought that this would have everything that I need, but it seems that the software of HP Imaging Device functions was not installed...

If anyone has had this problem and what should I do now?  Thanks much for any help you can offer!

  • I can't find a driver for HP Officejet Pro L7580.

Updated my system to Windows 7 after years of using Vista.  Now, I can not use my HP Officejet Pro L7580 because it cannot find a driver to install.   Each tab has said that the device works perfectly.  I deleted all of the HP software... it off... rebooted... reloaded and still the message says that this driver is missing and it can't find on the site of HP.  He also said that he is not allowed to update the drivers.  During the audit in this area... that's bad.  Updates are always automatic without authorization by this tab, you open to change the settings.  I can't see the problem/solution... can anyone else?

    Hey there,

Make sure you first if you use Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit then follow this link:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&DLC=en&lang=en&LC=en&product=2512008&

If you choose the recommended base or full software driver are the official drivers from HP for the product.

    I hope this helps!

I have a Win 7 Home Premium w/SP1, updates current MS at 27/05/2014

Wireless connect to Officejet Pro L7580.  We have Verizon FIOS & wireless phones.

The L7580 is connected by Ethernet to a 2nd PC w / Win 7 Home Premium w/SP1 & common enough MS updates.

I have been using the above configuration for 2 years with the center of HP solutions for scanning, printing from a PC without any problems.

Then, I improved the Verizon router to have the WPA2 security on 02/06/14.  I am able to print as I did before, but HP Solution center gave me an error msg:

Solution Center cannot run because the installation is not complete.   I would like to be able to view a jpg.

    1. based on some advice forums, I reinstalled the using L7580 full download, restarted - received the same error msg when opening HP Solution Center.

    2. I uninstalled the HP Solution Center, rebooted.  Installed the packge L7580 full, rebooted.  HP Solution Center has not been installed. Can print as I have before.

Thank you for responding.  I decided that I would replace the L7580.

  • OfficeJet Pro l7580 on Windows 8: always impossible to install driver

Reopening of the question of: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Install-Setup/Officejet-Pro-l7580-on-Windows-8-canno...

Try to install the full 64-bit of Windows 8 funtion driver to restore the analysis features

    OfficeJet Pro l7580 (connected ethernet)

Windows 8 64 bit (clean install)

    Driver from here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=mp-110039-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en...

Everything worked fine on Win7 64 bit

Print with 8 default windows driver

When you install the driver, the driver installation tells me to "uninstall L7300.

I do not have a L7300, and the printer's ethernet, not USB connected.  I unplugged from the wall and ethernet, but can not go past this error message to install the complete driver.

I've tried it on 2 computers different windows 8, with the same result.  The driver seems to be fairly broken

    Hi mcevoys,

I understand that they are freshly installed operating system, but in order for me to isolate as a cause as possible, should be done on at least one of the computers. If you do not want to perform the update to help isolate the problem, then you will need to contact support to see what they can do to help you get this printer is installed on your computer. I would like to know what you want to do?

Do a Refresh of Windows 8:

    1. hold your mouse at the bottom or at the top right of the screen (if you have a touch screen, you can drag your finger to the right of the screen to the left) to bring up the bar of charms.
    2. click on settings.
    3. click on "change computer setting" below.
    4. click on general.
5 scroll down to "Refresh your PC without affecting your files" and click on "Get Started" after that.
    6. who should start a wizard that will take you through the update process.
    7. install the printer on your computer

  • Connect my Officejet Pro L7580 on my my wireless home gateway

Is it possible to connect my Officejet Pro L7580 all-in-one directly to my Motorola Wireless Gateway?  I consider the printer becomes visible by other wireless devices and would allow me to print wireless laptops, my iPhone, etc.  Currently, the printer is connected via a USB cable directly to our pc at home.  From a wireless perspective, I currently have the available printer to print wireless connection first via the pc at home.  It works intermittently and the home pc must be on to make it work.  My Wireless Gateway has only an Ethernet port which is connected to the pc at home and it has a USB port.  Not sure of the term appropriate for the size of the USB port, but it is not standard and the size is associated with the USB output on most printers.  Thank you!

Yes, you can keep it connected, but I don't know why you would want to.  All of its features will be available through the connection to a gateway.

  • OfficeJet Pro L7580 will not hold settings network by hand... not visible on the network

Yes... Once again... Another question about the famous OfficeJet Pro L7580 all in one.

I can't write all the IP settings and get the machine to save.  No matter how many times I try, it's always defaults to "automatic" and when I print the network settings page I get all the relevant numbers as 0.0.0.0.  I tried the network diagnostic tool, I have read all the instructions, I am a network expert.  I searched this problem on Google and all I see is to throw this thing in the trash.

I also downloaded the official patch from HP for Windows 7 64 bit network, but when I try to run this fix, it is said that the patch is not provided for Windows 7.

Should I trash this thing or is there a fix. ?

    Thank you

    Thank you

  • I have an Officejet Pro L7580 all-in-one. How do you find the printer did how many copies?

I have an Officejet Pro L7580 all-in-one.  How do I know how many copies the machine made?

    Dragon-fur (unusual name!)

Thanks again for your suggestions, which led me to the answer.

Looking more closely at the options in the HP Solution Center, which I thought I had already exhausted, I followed these links - settings, print settings, the Toolbox for printer, information, reviews, myprintmileage, source, which led me to the total number of pages, number of total jobs and many other information, which, apparently, is monitored by HP.

Thanks for the clues get me there.

    Kind regards

  • How can I change the margins on my hp officejet pro l7580

Some forms print have information of compliance at the bottom which is necessary to properly process the document and margins on my hp officejet pro L7580 (printer), often cut out of the bottom of the page. I need to adjust the margins on the machine itself. How can I do this? I have searched everywhere online and my manual and can't find the answer.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to set the margins on the phone itself, but you can enable the printer to print without margins (that is) that your program has full control of the border) by following the instructions in the link below:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/bpy21049

Once you have done this, you should be able to adjust the margins through your program without limitation.

What is the information that you need?
