HP OfficejetPro 8600: HP print and Scan Doctor
My HP OfficejetPro 8600 is not print Word documents. I tried to download the HP print and doctor Scan, but all the links tell me that the server is unavailable. So, I was unable to download the tool and cannot resolve the situation. Can someone tell me how to access the tool?

I'm new and have read many articles on printing does not. I had this printer yesterday and I was so excited to use it! When came home... DOH! Nothing prints not! So, I used the print and Scan doctor and that fixed it... temporarily. Now it won't print and print and scan doctor said nothing! I printed something this morning, but I saw a mistake, then I went to print it again, nothing would have uttered. I'm getting a little angry that I (May) have lost $170 on this thing.
I could really use some help please! If not, I just lost $170 on this thing.
My system is Windows 10 1511 Pro 64 - Bit, and the printer is USB connected.

Edit: I just tried printing HP and Scan Doctor 4.9 once again, now it works again. But this will not last forever, I need a permanent solution.
Edit 2: I forgot to add that I intend to leave it on all the time. It is good to do? Causing my problems? My grandparents have their HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 24/7 for I don't know how many years! haha and they have no problem!
I got a HP OfficeJet 4630 USB connected, and I turned off each time and printed correctly. Only had to fix once with HP print and Scan doctor.
Hi, seems that your computer is powered off the USB ports to save energy.
Check in the Device Manager.
Check under USB controllers.
Check all USB hub root.
Select power management and ensure that:
Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power is DISABLED.
Use a USB cable of good quality, not more than 6 feet long.
Connect the 8710 directly to a power outlet wall.

It will help to solve the problems with the scanning of the error messages, connectivity issues and other issues also. It is worth noting that this video is for Windows-based computers.

You can try this alternative solution to Scan:
HP extended Scan
Once it has downloaded and installed, go to start > all programs > HP > HP Scan extended > Run "HP Scan extended.
Let us know if it works.
The deleted files on laptop for free space, must have deleted something important, like the printer does not work well.
Tried to uninstall the software and then remove device. Inserted the CD, then reinstalled. I can print with USB cable.
Print and scan doctor 4.9 ceases to work, so have difficulties to find what the problem is. Any suggestions?
Thank you. This was my first post to a forum and I am glad for a quick response.
I ended up uninstalling programs printer, restart, then deleted the printer device, restart, then goes on HP site and download software and implementation.
Always impossible to use printing and scanning doctor. Same message as it closes. Hope that I won't need it. Don't know what the problem is with the diagnosis. Will retain the option of restoration in mind.
I can print with USB and wireless, so I guess I'm ok now.
Whenever I need to print, the print job gets held in place in the queue...
- 'Use printer offline' flashes
- Status: "error - printing".
- Port USB001
After execution of HP print and Scan doctor, the print queue is cleared, I print the document again and it will work only once. Next time I want to print, I have to restart the HP print and scan doctor, and then reprint the document.
I'd appreciate any help/advice.

I understand that you have some problems with the printing of your Windows 7 PC to your printer Laserjet M1319. I can help you with that.
To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:
- If your printer is connected via USB cable to your PC, delete.
- Click on start and open devices and printers.
- Right-click on any icon of your printer listed.
- Click on remove the instrument.
- Repeat for all other icons of your printer listed.
- Click Start, in your type of Services Research and open Component Services.
- On the left, click Services (Local).
- On the right, do a right-click on print spooler.
- Click on stop.
- Open your drive C:\, Windows, System 32, coil, and printers.
- Delete everything in this folder.
- Return to the Component Services window.
- Right-click on print spooler.
- Click Start.
- If you removed the USB cable, connect. If this is not the case, go back to the devices and printers and click Add printer to add a new queue for your printer.

I had my HP officejet 8600 more for 2-3 years and always had problems following and just kept reinstalling the drivers as a quick fix. I am now starting a business from home and I have no time to deal with printing and scanning the questions and, of course, my warranty has expired! My operating system is OS X version 10.9.4.
When I scan to my computer, the printer indicates "not found computer." The status of my mac is no different than when I scanned a document a few days ago! Remove and reinstall the drivers solves this problem temporarily but I want it fixed permanently.
In addition, when printing, sometimes a page can print immediately and at other times, it may take 5-10 minutes to print even if its status is 100% full in the print queue - even once, reinstall the drivers is a quick fix but I want a permanent solution.
Any help to solve these problems would be greatly appreciated.

I just installed an OficeJet 4620. I'm under Win 8.
I printed out the status of the HP printer wizard pages. They work very well.
I ran printing HP and Scan Doctor v3.1 and all past. However, when I try to print the test page, I get an error message saying cannot communicate with the printer.
When I try to print from a different application, I get the same error.
According to the Assistant of HP printer, the quality of the signal is a 4 (out of 5)
I suggest that you reset your network. Click here to get instructions on resetting your network.
Once you do this, I would set a static IP address for the printer. Click here for more information on how to set a static IP address. This link will be also other suggestions that may be useful. Let me know how it goes.
After works without any problem for several months, the printer now shows an error message whenever I try to print. I have to run the doctor print and scan so that the printer to function. I see that you are unable to scan / install with HP Officejet Pro 8600 Windows 8.1 computer, I would like to offer a helping hand.
I wish that you run the HP printer installation wizard on the computer to acquire the software, it will download and install for you.
Which is to remove the PSDr on your computer, you should be able to just drag the icon to your trash can (on the desktop). Of my knowledge and use of the PSDr is not installed on the computer, it will extract temporary files whenever the icon is open.
If you want to delete temporary files, you can press the Windows key and R on the keyboard (from the desktop) and it will open the box run. Type %temp%, and then press ENTER, search the 7z files and delete them (you can delete all files and folders from here, if you wish).

When I click on the HP printer on the desktop icon, it does not open the usual window for all functions of the printer. About the "print" button, I guess that's not related wit the real software problem:
Google chrome opens the print dialog box, and then press the button change.
Select your printer from the list instead of the default save as PDF option and try to print again.
