  Then I reinstalled Xperia companion and tried to do a factory reset again. This time, it worked.

  So, if someone else has this problem, please try the method described above.

  Support staff of Sony is useless and I have to say that the level of support is terrible. If my trip can be reduced to this:

  Phone does not > software does not > Web site works not > when I finally support is useless.

  Figured it out myself but spend too many hours in the process.

  When I am trying to pair headset Bluetooth HBH-IV835 with Tecra M5 integrated Bluetooth I meet the problem "Detection of service failed. Here is the detailed description.

  I use the last battery Bluetooth (v5.10.06 (T)), my operating system is Windows XP, computer laptop - Toshiba Tecra M5.

  I launch "New Connection Wizard" (in the Bluetooth Manager), choose the HBH-IV835 headset in the list of detected devices, click Next, enter the password "0000" and in a second, "Detection of the service failed" message. After that if I open 'Options', 'Security', 'Paired device view' - the list is totally empty.

  In accordance with the operating manuals of the headset Bluetooth HBH-IV835 and Tecra M5 integrated bluetooth, the two devices are supported the HSP profile.

  This is the behavior if the incorrect PIN code has been entered. Can you please open Notepad and enter "0000" to see if it's OK or if it is translated for a reason, for example, Numlock on?

  Last week, I bought a Dell OptiPlex 3020 Micro desktop running Win8. There is no sound when starting. I go into the BIOS & Audio enable is checked. I uncheck it, tick it again once, apply & reboot. Can I make it sound. If I restart again I still have sound.

  When I turned off the PC and restart it not there no sound again. Only when I turned off. Then I go through the process of BIOS again & it is solid. It makes me nuts trying to figure out the problem. I don't want to return the PC because I really like it & I'm sure it's an easy fix for someone here.

  So I recently had the Priv of BB and I find it a great device. I meet however a problem with bluetooth through my car stereo.

  My car detects the Priv and Priv sees the cars bluetooth, however it says incorrect PIN code every time that I try to pair it. The pin of my vehicle is 1212 however when matching private is simply not to ask for any PIN code which is the reason for which he constantly says wrong PIN. Why the private not gives me the opportunity to enter a PIN?

  Sorry to hear about that - some people have reported problems connecting their private to their cars.

  Try to use a different PIN - default bluetooth is 0000 or 1111

  Try that and let me know how!

  Recovery wipe data, Yes.

  If recovery option can access the OS (and your account), it may apply to you if you want to back up your data before recovery - should you be offered the option, say Yes.

  I'm not sure (given the odd circumstances) if there will be problems getting later for (backup) data.  But if asked, say that you want to backup.

  Good luck.

  

  Finally, when you get the computer working again, consider using history file to backup your data on an external drive.  History of the available files on Windows 8 and above.

  No, it does not mean that. It simply means that the method used for location Services is not 100% reliable. One of the reasons would be if there is a lot of traffic WiFi near you.

• SCB-68 digital pins returns incorrect values

  Hi all

  I use a SCB - 68 is connected to a PCI-MIO-16-4. I just want to use the digital pin on the SCB-68 to high/low otuput signals. I test the memory in 'Measurement & Automation Explorer', under 'panels of Test '.

  The analog output works as expected and return values of voltage is entered.

  The digital pins, however, give me really strange values. When I configure port0 to "all out", the voltage measured at all digital pins is 4.54V, no matter if my selected state is 'very high' or 'low', except pin19/DIO4, that always gives me 0V.

  Should it? What are some possible solutions?

  No, it's not normal, assuming that you measure on a device output and referenced to dgnd. It passes self-test? The Council is an old model. Who used it before you? It could easily have been damaged. Taking the scb-68 and the cable out of the picture, have you looked at the output of the DAQ card with nothing plugged? How about the end of the scb-68 cable connected?

  I activated the maximum security on the display panel of the printer who locked all menus except the menu 'Retrieve the Job'. I also forgot to activate the HTTPS web server, so even if I have a user name and password I can't access the control panel.

• Windows XP SP3 - reader DVD - RW 'Incorrect function' on blank CD

  I get an 'Incorrect function' error on both of my readers of DVD - RW on Windows XP. I investigated the issue for a few days and came away empty-handed.

  1. I tried to delete upper/lower filters in the registry. This helped to ensure that they are detected but nothing else.

  2. I tried to update the drivers for the two drives via firmware update. This makes them as readers of DVD - RW instead of just the CD players, but I still haven't burn the ability.

  3. I tried to edit the registry in order to see a 'Registration' tab on the properties of the drive. Even after that change it, the tab never appears. I tried to switch between settings (1, 2 or 3) between each of the two drives, but it makes no difference in the combination.

  4. I ran various "Fix - Its", including one that claimed that the two discs were not able to burn. See #4.

  4. I tested two drives with third-party software, and they work much like the burners. However, the vendor I work with that requires Windows to be able to do the burning. I worked with them and they insist the problem is on my end and revealed no useful. I'll assume it's Windows and not their own software which poses problem.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  If they are IDE drives, SATA, make sure that the jumper pins are correct, if so,

  uninstall both in device mgr, restart, once thru, output, pc shutdown.

  Move the connections on a different IDE slot, reset the pins of the rider as needed, restart

  PC. XP will reinstall their restart. If the connection of different worked, cable

  or card controller pc are bad... In addition, update the chipset installation software

  for the Council, it gives xp drivers software to work properly...

  Hello. Anyone know how to copy the contents of a hard drive of 80 GB MK8026GAX Toshiba HDD2191 d ZK01 T to a computer? This record came from a laptop Dell Insipiron PP12L defective 6000. The HARD drive has a 44 pins connector flat male edge. I can't find any adapter that will connect this edge connector 44 flat pins at all normally used 2.5 "or 3.5" round connector pins. I have a new technology USB 3.0 Universal Drive Adapter kit, but it requires 44 pin round connector.

  If you know an adapter that can connect edge connector 44 pine flat female to connector 44-pin round, please let me know.

  My approach to copy HDD content is incorrect. Maybe you have a suggestion for a way to copy the contents of the HARD drive above?

  Thank you for your response. I found an adapter that transforms the connector 44 flat pins female connector 44 round pins. The only thing to do now is to get 44 male connector 44 round pins round pin connector cable or adapter, but this should be easy. Thank you for helping me to solve my problem of HARD drive.
