  I'm having a problem with my newly installed SSD. I just got an Alienware Aurora R4 with Windows 8. I immediately cloned the HDD to a vector of OCZ serving 256 GB drive of EaseUs ToDo Backup, which worked perfectly when I just upgraded to an SSD on my laptop. At the beginning I had a problem with recognition by car, but then ensured this bios was set to AHCI and UEFI and finally to load Windows 8. It shows me only Windows 7 updates as it says that my R4 Aurora accompanies when I added my service code (is there a way to fix this?). I just chose to watch an empty Arurora R4 and was able to see the drivers of Windows 8 and downloaded all updates that seemed relevant (also update bios to A07 A06). When I downloaded the class Serial ATA driver (7D9TS) and you click Update, it says just the file is decompressed, but have not installed anywhere (unlike the other pilots).

  I think that the problems started here, on this stage of EaseUs.

  I hope that you always have this original Image backup... probably on an external USB or something. Good... Keep this forever (especially since it looks like that delete you the original copy/drive).

  You have to clean install Win - 8 (and support adequate and other drivers chipset) this SSD so you can check the materials. It is not easy because of no victory-8 media and hidden serial OEM key. You may need to talk with Dell for some OEM DVD or USB Flash media.

  Personally, I would have also created the Dell 16 GB USB Flash device recovery initially. It might be useful now. He could have facilitated a full restore of your OEM-Windows-8... same "bare metal" (to your Virgin SSD).

  I get errors in the case where the viewer that points to the firmware updates that are not available.

  Seems that I bought a model desktop computer that was removed from the line up, just after that he was released. My machine was released in 6/2012 (bought mine in 7/2012) and went through 12/2012.

  This is why when I try to find updates for the software, there is none, as well as questions about the BIOS updates that do not exist.

  That is the problem. I already went to support HP software update page and has been properly using my model number and serial number and downloaded and installed several updated to find that it was not for my pc. The problem being HP offered so many different types of this particular model was a type of 'Customer To Order. All updates are so hit or miss due to different types. NVIDIA as opposed to ATI - AMD, Intel, as opposed to AMD and on the line is the differences in motherboards, hard disks, LAN cards and it goes on and on. So, instead of being able to stem what model gets what it ends up being a guessing game. I am aware of the differences of GPU and CPU but uses this to emphasise that it is confusing, not only for me but it seems HP to find which refers exactly to my bench.

  I made the mistake of trying to install an update of the BIOS that was listed for my pc see it is bad that did not take long to understand it fried my machine one should be fired and replaced by HP under warranty. I am out of warranty now and am stuck with trying to find in the section Support, which refers exactly.

  The Question? : - I have no chance or HP plans, on the road, to keep updates on these older models. Seems I got a machine that was a little bit late, just like the models of Windows 8 were charged and there was no decline more motherboard I have is proprietery even if it is not made by Gigabyte, after contacting them they have no idea what my MB or if there are updates to the BIOS.  I spoke with a representative from HP repair when I had to send it in last summer and said "off the cuff" well "you may need to get an another MB and of course which will void your warranty.   Sorry, Big Dave, but you're wrong. First reading of Scripture & speeds were half of what they were supposed to be, then using three types of disc utilities including all the three said methods of transfer of 300 GB rather than the 600 GB transfer modes. Its software said you are in AHCI mode, but you're NOT in mode SATA III.

  Only by uninstalling the SATA controller AMD was I could join SATA III speeds that all three utilities confirmed and was able to run the Software Wizard and finishing of optimization settings.  Sequential transmissions went from 255.3/116.4 to 453.5/138.5 and btw I had a long telephone conversation with Samsung and their people said I was getting speeds SATA II and that it was said by the guys from reps/repair of HP in Tennessee themselves than those speeds where SATA II speeds also. Do not make any assumptions.

  I found an updated BIOS to start with and unfortunately found that listed for my only disabled MB MB. The SSD itself is fine. Here are registry settings changes from 3 to 0 then started to the BIOS and change the setting from AHCI RAID storage

  I saw your post about some kind of problem with the ATA/ATAPi IDE controller drivers. There is no specific drivers listed on the page of the driver for your model. Here is a third-party link that will show you how to upgrade your drivers from the Device Manager.

• Several import problems (lack of troubleshooting ideas) - LR3

  I reformatted the card in my camera before, so I don't think that the files are corrupted, especially now that they seem to work in Bridge/Photoshop perfectly. However, when I attempt to import via my USB drive and SDHC card get one of two errors: could not copy a file at the location requested, or the following files were not imported because they could not be read.

  The error message "could not copy file...". "appears when I try to import directly through the player/SDHC USB card. When I take the SDHC card files and make them drag on the desktop, place them in their own folder (there are 200 + files) and try to import this file, I got the same error message. I don't know when I got the message of not being able to read the files. I try to import these courses, which all, and files seem to be OK because they work in bridge. It is interesting to note that I cannot at this stage of any import in LR3. Even a jpg at random I found on my computer won't import.

  HERE IS WHAT I HAVE TRIED:

  • Restarting my computer
  • LR3 to exit and restart
  • Optimize my LR3 catalog
  • Creating a new catalog and try to import photos here with the hope of the combination of catalogs later (received the same error message)

  
  Any help would be appreciated. I have an assignment due in class tomorrow and I'm stuck until I have find what the Devil's going on. Thanks again.

  

  

  PS: I do not know why I get this question mark error 2010 below. I removed this file when I saw him earlier today, and it appeared again. I've not seen this before, or have, I met this problem never before.

  Hello Mazinho.  I understand that you're curious how uninstall/reinstall your IDE controllers.
  
  I assume you are using Windows 8 based on your screenshot.  The steps should be similar for other versions of Windows as well.  Try the following.

  1. Using views of the subway or Office Windows + X key combination.  This opens the context menu.
  2. Select Device Manager.
  3. Expand the section of "controllers IDE ATA/ATAPI.
  4. Right click on "IDE controller' listed here and select"Uninstall ".  If you are prompted only remove the driver.
  5. Reboot the laptop.
  6. Loading Windows must be reinstalled the software for the device.

  I bought a new Satellite L300 01:00
  I installed Windows XP Home SP3 System (using nLite and driver of SATA Storage Manager) and all the drivers from the Web from Toshiba website.

  I have problem with CD/DVD drive (HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50N):
  -copy of CD/DVD on the HARD drive looks like follow: for some data of time (a few seconds up to several minutes) are the copy; then drive slows down and stops, the copy is stopped, progress bar doesn't move; After 1 minute for example the drive begins to spin and copy the next part of data. Sometimes the system stops to answer and it should reset the computer, sometimes computer restarts automatically.
  -listen to the audio CD music and watch DVD movies look like, it is easy to imagine...
  -uninstaling DVDRAM in Device Manager and reboot system helps a bit, i.e. the copy time becomes a little longer..., sometimes the problem occurs with the next CD/DVD in the drive
  AudioSilencer - don't change anything
  -write on CD/DVD is also impossible - progress bar stops after 1-2 minutes and nothing happens. Yellow led is always on and the shutdown process, you need to restart the system.

  What is interesting, drive works perfectly with the latest Debian LiveCD...

  Please check in _device nursery-> Controllers IDE ATA / ATAPI-Primary IDE Channel-> properties >-> advanced Settings_
  If the + transfer mode + has been defined on * DMA if available *.

  Furthermore the + device + type must be defined on * auto detection *.

  I have a Satellite U300 PSU30E Windows XP, SP3.

  After installing iTunes version 8 and after I rebooted, I get a popup that a new device has been added.
  The "device wizzard" fails to locate the appropriate drivers and I get relevant messages that the appliance could not install and so on. ""
  The system seems to work very well.

  In Device Manager I see that, under the family of controllers IDE ATA/ATAPI devices, I have a yellow exclamation mark next to "Base system device". All devices IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers tree appear in good condition. The family tree of device is:

  You have the same problem after that?

  It is really strange, but maybe it has something to do with the upper and lower filters. The point is that if you install the CD/DVD software, they install filters in the registry that can cause compatibility problems.

  Hi, I have a Sandisk 8 GB class 6 SD in my laptop card reader. Previously, I could get my photos on it. I used it in my camera since then. Have not formatted, just take some pictures.   It seems that you consider swapping the DVD player for a second HDD and have questions about the RAID.

  Before you continue, RAID is not necessary to use two hard drives. Two hard disks can be used as non-RAID and appears as two separate hard drives in Windows.   But I uninstalled the fast storage intel by atapi controller then my laptop it shows just sata ahci driver microsoft. Because I could not restore, I did a system restore and go my 9.3.0.1011 driver.

  Unless there is a real reason for updating the chipset driver or SATA driver cannot update.  There is an old saying that is called Murphy's law. Murphy's law (araphrased), said that unless something is broken it does difficulty. If you don't know Murphy's law and fix something that is not broken, so anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
