My mouse freezes randomly when I use my touch pad, make me have to close my laptop and open it again to my touch pad start labor, it might sometimes take awhile to start to get back to work. Someone please tell me what to do this gets really annoying when I have to keep closing my laptop to get my touchpad to stop the freezing point.
(P.S my mouse works fine when I plug in a mouse, so I know that my touchpad is the promblem here.)
Thank you very much for the product number. I hope you had a good weekend. I included the link to the driver for your TouchPad below. Start by making sure that the original driver is deleted. Go to your device manager and looking for your Synaptics TouchPad or something similar. Right click and uninstall. Then, install the link below. Please, note use this method if you have an external mouse, if you install just the software.

You should be able to use the W7 x 64 drivers and software of p000-15 t on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files.

What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media. It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs. You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.
The link is on the software page and download drivers for your PC: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-15-Notebook-PC-series/7137590/model/7484025
Once there, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entty and click on order to press for more details.
Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
Note that if HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

I bought my laptop on December 31, 2015. Computer laptop lid/top (surface behind the laptop screen) allows you to travel light screen in there because it was very translucent and is clearly visible and resembles a rectangular patch. I don't know if it's a design flaw with many HP 15 mobile games or if it is specific to my laptop?
I took the screenshots via lightshot and downloaded more than diagnosis:
I tried to contact HP for literally days now and they are online 'support' (Webchat and phone call center) is ALWAYS offline... I don't know if I would return it instead I bought (Currys/PC World).
I brought your question to the attention of a team within HP. They are likely to ask for information from you to get your information or product serial number. Please search for a private message from a contact HP identified. Also, remember not to publicly post information and series numbers.

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me.
About 2 months I bought this new laptop, it was fine until recently.
Whenever I go on the internet, try to download something, try opening a new tab, my phone freezes, and generally it won't let me open Task Manager when I press CTRL + ALT + DELETE. I don't know why it does this, I ran virus scans with Norton (I'm still in my free trial of 90 days) and no threats were found, I did Disk Defragmenter, I scanned the computer to find errors, I have done disk clean ups and I have no idea why it freezes again. I also changed my Internet browser from Microsoft Internet Explorer to Mozilla Firefox and I always seem to have the same problems.
Any help would be appreciated as to why he keeps freezing or if anyone has had the same kind of problems with their laptops?
Yes, you will need to make a backup of all your personal files to some form of external media (external hard drive, DVD, etc.). As a general rule, HP will send you the new hard drive - it will be completely empty, then you will need to reinstall the operating system on the new drive using your recovery disks, then load back your personal files from your external backup source. If you have not created your set of recovery disks, you will need to order a set of replacement of these at the same time.
The procedure of replacing the HARD drive is detailed from Page 45 of your & Maintenance Guide.

Alrighty this is one video of my HP Pavilion Dv7 - 4285dx Entertainment Notebook Wont work video. Basically, I can't understand what was lacking on this wise material issue (and if its even possible to distance just buy a spare part) or so badly need to buy a whole new computer altogether. Already have a portable game, but I'd rather have this laptop specifically for the armed forces when were allowed to use our computers civi make calculation on projects say. Any viable solution to possibly rebuild the machine, tell buy spare parts would be epic, but I can't determine what is the problem with it on my own.
It may make more sense to look at the video that I can show what the machine is doing when I try to use it. Video--> http://youtu.be/KO4LAP2mJNM
He's fine, the jist is that the machine is not turned on. The power LED flashes quickly, the F12 key light flashes quickly, light flickers hard drive read/write and the power on the portion sparkles. Also the battery is removed the iron on if this is a battery issue, I've already pulled out it is not not a bad adapter block. Regarding the power light, it's a constant light to solid white'.
Someone at - it ideas?
I understand that the system is off almost instantly after having turned it on.
Based on the symptoms and the video, it looks like the motherboard has failed. There are only so many components that can cause this problem. The battery and Charger AC/DC have been rejected. The laptop seems to receive a continuous power supply because the light stays on. You could try reinstalling the RAM it could be just loose enough to trigger a security breach. I doubt that is the case since that RAM in laptop computers is guaranteed to be generally quite good. The disk HARD and WLAN module would not cause these symptoms.
I know that's not the answer you are looking for, but the symptoms do not match that of a failed motherboard. You could look into this and compare it to the costs and benefits of a new laptop. Page 84 0f this guide details what is to replace the motherboard. According to this, the part of HP for the motherboard number is 630985-001. You might look online to see what the cost of a motherboard to a site selling online because it does not appear that HP is available. You can can try the HP parts store because it is more recent than the surfing part.
In most cases, the benefits of a new system outweigh the costs and the benefits to repair an old. However, third-party sites can carry enough good parts markets to switch the balance.
Since last week, I found that the touch screen on my laptop Lenovo Flex 2 stop and start working at random and by reading online forums on how to solve this problem, I realized that the USB input device that is normally found in the Human Interface of my device manager devices would disappear when the touch screen no longer works and will reappear when the touch screen works when I restart my computer. Someone at - it a good solution for how I can solve this problem? Most often when a device does not work, it is because the driver is damaged. Re-install a new copy should helphttp://captaindbg.com/how-to-update-drivers-on-Windows-7/ (works on win 8 & win 10)
I can't find it anywhere and it's a simple question, really.
The HP ENVY 15-j028tx laptop has a touch screen feature? When I bought the laptop, in-store, it had a touchscreen function, but since I got home, I had no fuction of the touchscreen?
From the next store, there NO touchscreen:
Same store, the following (same series) model has touchscreen. Probably you looked at one machine and bought another machine.

On 24 April, the Phoenix airport security, a mobile swap has occurred. (I'll spare you the details).
I found myself with an HP pavilion laptop 15 serial No. [edited moderator series].
Airport lost & found has been useless since no one else has reported a laptop bad. The battery is dead, so I am not able to feed and glean information from him.
I hope that the HP laptop has been saved. I would like to contact the correct owner and will arrange the transaction of their laptop for mine.
Any help would be appreciated.
PS: tried to use the site of HP support first, but there is no way to submit a free form query.
I just want to thank the people at HP for their quick reaction and after the correct owner.
Thanks to Malygris1, JeffHelp and Scott for an effective solution.
I have a monitor of Vizio that I was able to connect to my laptop via a HDMI cable last month. I did it several times without any problems, but less than a month later I tried to do it again and it does not work. The monitor says there is no signal, whereas before it was a direct connection. I don't know what happened. Help.

Try the following.
Hold down the Windows key and press R
In the run box, type regedit and press enter
In the registry editor, navigate to the following
Inside, look for a key named DeleteUserSettingsOnUpgrade
If it is present, right click on the key and select Edit
Set the field data of the value 0 (zero) , and then click Ok.
Close the registry editor.
Disable the Synaptics device in the usual way, then check if the setting is now preserved.

I have a HP Pavilion Notebook 15-p219nt which has been reinstalled with Windows 7 (it came with 8.1)
I can't find the Driver for the Touchpad for Win7 OS. Is it true that it does not support Win7?
Try the following directly from Synaptics driver.
Be aware that it won't give you all the features that was present in the newer operating system drivers.
