  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When finished, restart the laptop.

  Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click set as default.

  If the volume is still too low, the following can sometimes help.  Do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "playback devices".  Left click the device once to highlight default (it is usually 'speakers & headphones') and then click the properties button.  Click the enhancements tab and put a check mark in the box "Loudness equalization.  Click on apply to save the changes, and then click OK in all other windows.

  I was looking to replace our old router bthomebub router TP Link Archer VR900 3, which is a failure from time to time. I noticed 5 GHz speeds, that was quick and I made him watch in get the router. I downloaded all the drivers for the laptop for windows 8.1.one by an i have installed every driver wireless card to no joy... Cannot use a usb mouse, but usb stick works fine... because of some software that I use, I need to upgrade to windows 7... because I do not use windows 8... thing most also work on the laptop...

  HP support has deleted my driver and now does not. I think it's a broadcom but am not 100%

  You may need to install the Intel chipset driver and restarted, if after installing the Realtek ethernet driver you get the error from deep sleep mode.  The second file on the list, it's self installation of the file.

  Have you tried the driver or the Recovery Manager to restore the audio driver? By a flash drive do you hear a Solid State Drive? If so, I think that should cause an audio problem.

  I bought a Pavilion laptop to 'Bat' last year.  Specifically, I ordered (and paid) preloaded Office 2010 family/student.  Now he tells me that the trial version has expired.  I need to 'activate' it but MS told me that they sell no more than 2010.  HP can't help because my machine is "out of warranty".  I'm stuck - any ideas on how I can determine if the full version has been preinstalled and if yes why he says it's a trial version?  Or how can I pay for a license of real for her?  Thank you!

  Boot the computer normally and log.

  Black screen, hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

  Select Task Manager.

  Click on file and select the new task.

  Type rstrui - also enter a tick in the box for "create this task with administrative privileges" - and click on Ok.

  When the system restore interface is loaded, choose a restore point at least 48 hours before the log - it occurs first and then proceed to the system restore.

  Try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall your Realtek HD Audio driver - this will also reinstall the Beats Audio interface.  How to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.
